    First Nsv

Flew to Haiti on a mission trip, buckled the seatbelt easily and was comfortable in my seat (as comfy as you can be in coach). Spent a week outdoors doing work with orphans and had 3 on my lap at one time! WooHoo, 40 pounds down and still going!

How Long Am I Allowed To Claim Nsv's?

Awhh. I can almost feel how wonderful that is for you. Do a little happy dance and keep celebrsting thise nsv. Awesome!
  4. I did it!!! I just got offered a job IN MY CHOSEN FIELD!!!!! I busted my butt (finished my program early and with a 94), chased a dream I thought was lost to me (thanks to the surgery, getting my health under control, changing my diet, and believing in myself that I could actually do it), and I just got my first job in the medical field!!!!! I literally cried. I'm so so excited!!!! I start on Monday!!!!!! Even though I'm a Medical Administrative Assistant, I won't be at the front desk when you first walk into the office (checking people in, collecting payments, verifying insurance, etc). I'll be the one that comes to get you and takes your vitals, takes you to your exam room, asks you questions and updates your chart, go over any doctor's orders, and then checks you out at the "check out" desk. I'll schedule follow up appointments, handle referrals, and call in any scripts and refills. AND, they will provide the scrubs I'll be wearing. I'm in an AWESOME mood!!!!! I can't believe I really did it. I wasn't sure I could, but here I am!!! I literally cried when I got the call today. I still can't believe it!!! And after 6 months, they will pay for me to continue my training to become a Clinical Medical Assistant and get all the certifications that come with that. All I have left to do is get this last 50 pounds off and then I'm literally living my very best life
  5. I am now two months post op, down 38lbs but *I* can't really see it. Today I was sweating away in my barre class and had to keep hiking up my tights and tank that once fit snug was bagging. First I looked in the mirror and thought how silly I looked, then realized "holy crap, my clothes are falling off!" Time to go shopping

  10. It's been a long time since I've posted anything here. I just had to share this with you all... I went to Target today to buy a new pair of workout pants. I left the store with a size EXTRA SMALL. I wore a freakin Size 28 W pants when I first started my weight loss journey. Just so you know... it IS POSSIBLE!!! Keep your eyes on the prize, because even at 15 Months out I'm still making the magic happen. Much Love, Xoxo

August Bandsters How are you Doing So Far

Wow - great reports everyone! Karri/Salsa - size 10's???? I"m in awe!!!! Glad to hear your band is behaving better now too. Real food is a definite improvement over shakes! Frangi - glad to hear things are going down for you again! Val - good for you for getting the food logging on track. I need to do the same! Becky, you're a wise woman, and your tracker shows it! Keep up the great work! I can't say that my eating was all that under control this weekend, but I can say the portions are much smaller than they would have been before surgery. I did have a few NSV's this week: - A friend stopped by with 2 bags of clothes as hand-me-downs. It felt really good knowing that I'm in the same size range as her, even if the items don't fit just right (too big in the waist, too tight in the legs/butt - she likes the "slimfit" stuff, which I wouldn't necessarily choose as a flattering option). This is going to sound a little immature, but it felt good to know I've caught up with her and will be passing her up in a bit - she's the one that's always drawn the looks and it would be fun to actually be the smaller one for the first time. Then again, I see myself naked every day. Nothing like a reality check to keep things on track. Ha!

    NSV!

way to go girl!!!!! I just had htis happen not long ago with my 26's to 24's...the 26's finally got just way too big so I am oficially not in them at all now. Maybe not quite as exciting as getting into 18's but don;t these NSV's feel great??? Be so proud!
  14. It's been an awesome past two months. Major life changes that never would have happened 50 pounds ago. I had my surgery last August, and the weight loss has been SLOW. But I'm hanging in there and the rewards have started rolling in. I decided to try online dating in March, after I was able to get some pictures of myself that I felt ok with. Two weeks later, I met an awesome guy and we're so happy together. Right about the same time, some networking paid off and I landed a job interview. The company was pretty slow with the interview process, but last week I was offered the job! The company is really dynamic and high-energy, and I know I wouldn't have been an ideal candidate if I had been at the weight and energy level that I was before the surgery. I'm not saying they wouldn't have hired me, but I KNOW that the weight loss has helped, if nothing else its helped my self esteem and the way I project myself. So, while the scale is slow, and I'll probably never be one of those people who gets to a size 4, it has given me a new outlook on life, and it looks like 35 is finally MY YEAR!!

    Toilet Seat!

Good news is I'm down 70 pounds! Weird NSV is that now sometimes when I sit on the toilet I feel like I'm going to fall in! I don't have as much rump to cover the toilet seat anymore. :-)

It is like us lol we want what we can't have sometimes and we will try but our experience is not a good one , and why would you want to do that again , most of us are the same as we we're before we are just healthier in body and mind so if he wasn't good to you before the healthier you now , he doesn't deserve the new iproved healthier you just keep the nsv and except it then keep thigs moving like you have.

    Saw an Ex-boyfriend Yesterday

What a awesome NSV! But you need to block him on your Facebook page if you already haven't. You neither need nor want a stalker on your Facebook or in your life! Best wishes, and as others have said, great revenge!

    NSV Humor

That's an awesome NSV! Congratulations! I bet you won't need a seat belt extender. When I flew, I I was only about 20 pounds less than you are right now and I'm 7 inches shorter than you are. By the time October comes, you'll have room to spare in the seat belt.

    NSV Humor

I love NSVs! my own and others'. Keep on going. Your weightloss is wonderful!
  24. Congratulations and best wishes on your journey. The journey may not be easy and there may be times that you want to give up then remember this feeling of going under 300. Do not forget to celebrate every NSV no matter how small it is my personal favorite is walking down the aisle of an airplane without turning sideways and getting to my seat and not having to ask for an extender.

There's a saying, nothing tastes as good as thin feels and it's true! Great NSV!
