I like to use it as the base to my smoothies, it mixes better than my powder from Walmart. Tastes good and a blends without grit. Without added fruit or yogurt, e.g. just mixing with water or milk, it needs a little more time to rehydrate. I like the French Vanilla. Chocolate Peanut Butter was ok too but way better if you added a spoonful of PB2.

So yet again I find myself here talking about my ass.
winklie replied to winklie's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I take them as well, plus I eat a ton of yogurt (it's like the only treat I eat), it was ass neutral. It did not seem to help me. MOM did. Keep my ass in line too. -
Just Can't Get My Energy Back From Surgery
BOB052212 replied to donna12's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am 6 weeks out and I am able to exercise, actually walked 6 miles in 95 degree heat the other day. Are you eating fruit? I know we are supposed to eat protein first, but your body needs, fruits and veggies. This is how I make sure I get my fruit in daily, I make 2 smoothies a day, 1 apple, 1 banana, and either blueberries or strawberries. In addition I add a little water, and 2 to 3 packs of equal/splenda and a greek yogurt (protein) I highly recommend making smoothies, and using 2 or 3 different fruits, this also has ended my bouts with constipation...Good Luck! -
What are you guys eating?
naturegirl replied to jonharo22's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm 5 months out and still take things easy. Everyday is different depending on what's going on. At dinner time I usually use a small dessert plate and eat a small piece of chicken, veggies, and if room a starch (usually potatoes or beans). Snacks are often string cheese, mandarin orange, or grapes. Breakfast 1/2-3/4 yogurt or two sausage links. Today I went to lunch with my boss for Mexican food. I ate half of a beef enchilada (removed some of the tortilla), 3 chips, and a few tiny bites of rice. Took me about 30 minutes and I was at capacity. Last week we went for lunch at the Olive Garden. I had a some salad and was full. I ordered the mini spaghetti lunch and brought it home for the kids. I try not to eat fast food too often. A panda bowl from Panda Express can last me a week. Half a taco at Taco Bell fills me up. At McD I eat most of a patty and toss the bun. At a sit down restaurant I split a meal with my husband and still have leftovers to bring home. Bread and I don't get along too well. A couple of crackers are ok, a slice of bread no. But as usual every brand/style affects me differently. I don't drink soda. I miss it, but can do without. I've taken a few sips from my kids juice box when really thirsty and found it too sweet and passed it on. Oj is ok in small amounts and slowly. The important thing is to be patient and listen to your body. Not all foods will be tolerable. -
Be careful of hidden carbs too. Certain cheese can have more carbs than others, some veggies are higher carb too. And most yogurt is pretty high carb too. Carbs can sneak up on you and sabotage your efforts. Low carb works great for me but only if I keep my carbs really low. I have to stay under 30 net carbs a day (preferably under 20) or the weight doesn't budge for me.

I don't want to/forget to eat

AJ so interesting you say that about your eyes. I know another woman who got surgery and her eyesight got better too!!! I do not think it’s a coincidence I think everything is related to our gut and our weight for the most part and that the old guys got it right when they said let thy food be thy medicine and if you’re sick - fast. Interesting thing though- the past couple of days I forced myself to eat more- I had to do it with shakes and soft food like yogurt and cheese for the most part to get my calories higher and Lost (not only the 1.5 I inexplicably gained when I d had just 500 cals a day ) but an extra 1.5 so three pounds I’ve lost in 3 days and I had 1100 calories a day. I worked out Friday but not Saturday and Sunday and I ate within a 4- 6 hr window. I know my body in the past would shut down after too many low calorie days but I thought post surgery that would change but maybe not. I’m going to stay with IF and keep my calories in the 800-1000 range for the next 4 days and see if my body likes it. How exciting your eyesight got better! I hope mine does too! And I can’t wait to see how your journey unfolds. -

I had my surgery on 11/18 and I am currently eating greek yogurt, tuna salad with eggs and diced pickles, cream of wheat, scrambled eggs mixed with cottage cheese, Jello sugar free pudding, and sugar free cherry flavored jello. One day I was really brave last week. Our school was sponsoring a bbq lunch. I tried small portions of potato salad, Beans and bbq pork. It was too much and the meat wouldn't digest. I was sickly the rest of that afternoon. So, besides that one glitch, it's working nicely. -

Reasons for Weight Loss Surgery Part 1 I was a normal weight child and very active - a “Tomboy”. My home life at best was dysfunctional , at worst, physically and emotionally abusive. Food and access to food was controlled by my mother. You ate what was put on your plate and if you didn’t finish by the time everyone else had, you sat there until you did. Didn’t finish? Your plate was put in the refrigerator and served again at breakfast and again until you ate it. You were not allowed to help yourself to something to eat in between meals and there were no “after school snacks” unless I had a friend over. When I had company, treats like milk and cookies were offered but I knew better than to have any - as soon as the other child had gone home, I’d be castigated for having eaten the “treats” which were “just for company“. I was also schooled not to accept any snacks at a playmates’ house. If by chance the other parent mentioned to my mother that, “the kids had a snack of…“ as soon we got home I would be punished. Food and the withholding of food figured prominently in our disciplining. Poor grade on a test - I was sent to my room to await my father’s return from work. At which point I would be beaten with a belt and sent to bed with no dinner. Accused of “back talking” - sent to my room to write 1,000 sentences; “I will not back talk” - and provided an apple and a glass of milk per day until the task was completed. My mother designated food as belonging to certain people; “your father’s cookies”, “my ice cream”. To ensure my brothers and I didn’t, “steal” or “sneak” food, it was often hidden. When I was 9 or 10, my younger brother already had a weight problem so to ensure neither of us were eating outside of my mother’s control, we were locked in our rooms at night. Mealtime was itself was a miserable experience. My father would come home from work to down a pitcher of martinis and as my mother would harangue about a variety of issues, we would sit down to dinner. To deflect my father’s anger away from her, my mother would pick a scapegoat. Usually, it was me. Both of my parents made it clear from the time I was a small child that they hadn’t wanted a daughter, thus I was fair game for humiliation for any shortcomings ranging from a poor grade or a messy room to not being invited to a party. More often than not the verbal abuse would denigrate to being slapped, punched or dragged by my hair from the room before being beaten with a belt. I learned to eat fast and get away from the table as quickly as possible. At age 13, my mother became concerned that I was getting, “too fat” and took me to the pediatrician for my annual physical. The doctor assured her my weight was normal and that I was developing into a woman. As we left the doctor’s office my mother told me that she, “Didn’t care what the doctor said - you’re going on a diet!“. I tend to recall that day as the day my problems with food really started. My mother was an expert dieter - 5’6’’ and no more than 118 pounds ever. Extremely proud that at the birth of her last child, my second brother, she’d gained no weight, her eating habits were poor: coffee and a cigarette for breakfast, a weight loss shake for lunch, minimal servings of whatever we had for dinner, followed by a large serving of frozen yogurt for dessert. Following the fateful doctor visit, the focus on my weight became excruciating as did the rules. No bread, no dessert, breakfast of coffee and orange juice only. My lunch was packed for me daily and was the same thing - dry tuna, an apple, a thermos of skim milk. Dinner was portioned out by my mother - no seconds allowed. We did not celebrate my birthday one year as I was “too fat”. Now in high school, the control over my eating extended to my personal life. My mother went though my drawers, reading notes from friends, refusing to allow me to drive, or work, putting me on social restrictions for months. Despite this I was a solid B+ student, class officer and involved in numerous clubs and school organizations. At home the physical and verbal abuse continued; I had, “thunder thighs”, “whale lips”, “piano legs”. I chose a college five hours away from home. While I quickly got the hang of college life, the availability of food was something I wasn’t used to. I joined at sorority and lived in the house. We were provided with three meals a day and it certainly wasn’t the narrow selections offered to me a home. Other girls were eating bread and dessert - it wasn’t long before I was eating like everyone else. I was 118 pounds when I left home and 133 when I came home for Thanksgiving my freshman year. My mother was furious and refused to speak to me again after advising me that if I wasn’t down to 118 by Christmas, there’d be no presents. I wasn’t and there weren’t. When I came home for the summer break that year I was up to 156. This time I was advised that it was too humiliating to be for her to been seen in public with a “pig” and that if I wasn’t 120 by the time it was time to return to school there would be no new clothes. That summer passed with her indirect references to me as “her”, “she” and “it”, using other family members to communicate as necessary. I came home from my summer job on my birthday to find my parents had left that day for a beach vacation with my brothers. The note left indicated that no one wanted me to go as it was too embarrassing to be seen with someone as “disgusting” as me. I left for college that fall - 123 pounds but no new clothes as I weighed “too much”. I haven’t worn shorts or a bathing suit since then. (Continued...)

Dinks97420, would you mind telling me exactly what you ate and when? How many Protein Shakes, when did you eat the refried beans and how much? This sounds doable to me. I would really appreciate it if you could show me a typical day on this diet I think this is answer I was looking for Sent from my SM-J700T using the BariatricPal App I made sure that I had three premier shakes a day normally half a shake every hour or so. I had a jello cup with my shake for lunch. I work 8-5 so by the time I got done at work I had all three down. For dinner I would measure out half cup of refried beans with taco sauce and a little melted cheese or I had half cup cottage cheese with lots of seasoning mixed in. My favorite are the Mrs. Dash ones. I also had lots of sugar free Popsicles on hand and would normally munch on a couple in the evening. I was really worried about restricting myself like that because in the past I would get migraines if I didn't eat enough. No problems at all. Worked great. Once I made weight I added back in one meal a day keeping it mostly meat and veggies with no carbs. Tomorrow I start my countdown to surgery diet which will be back to 100% liquid other than Greek yogurt, jello and sf Popsicles. Surgery is 8/30!! Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

Update... I didn't make it 72 hours on just liquids. I ended up having a yogurt early this afternoon then cottage cheese later in the afternoon. And, I went to Bunko tonight and had a few rice crackers w/spinach dip (chewed up thoroughly to mush). My dietician said the only reason for the 72 hours on liquids is to avoid puking (in case you swell after the fill). Nothing felt even close to being stuck so I figure I am good to go w/food right now, but I'm just gonna take it slow and careful.

Day 12 Post Op. My new "birthday" is April 20
nyxn posted a topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Hello all! It has now been 12 days since I had my laparoscopic gastric sleeve done, and each day I'm getting healthier. Still have an issue with internal pain on the right side, and one of incisions on the right got infected, so my GP prescribed Cephalexin 4x daily. The pill is the size of a horse and smells horrible. Thank goodness I can snap it in half - only was I can take it. I weighed myself this morning and it looks like I'm at 280 lbs. My pre-surgery weight on April 1 was 334 lbs. Not sure how accurate that is given they are two different scales so will hold off doing the happy dance until my clinic appointment for weigh in on the more accurate scale to see exactly where I'm at. food wise, week 1 and most of 2, I subsisted on Greek yogurt (Oikos vanilla, lime, honey), Hunts chocolate pudding cups, and Ensure High Protein. I tried Heinz baby food (prunes and sweet potato) as well as Campbell's ready to serve cream Soups, but I was just not a fan after one serving. The soups (butternut squash, cream of asparagus with basil, and roasted cream of potato with leeks) all tasted the same. The baby food helped, but in the back of my head it was still baby food and I just couldn't go past that. The food bank will be happy, I've got a bunch of stuff heading their way! April 29, I thought I was far enough along that I could have something soft and went for brunch with a friend. Ordered salmon with mashed potatoes. Boy was that ever a big mistake! It came with a side of toasted French bread. I thought if I chewed the bread to paste consistency I'd be okay. Ya. No. That minuscule amount of bread went down like cement and I was in pain for close to 30 mins. I managed to eat a little mashed potato, but again, did not sit well. Yes, I acknowledge that I'm a moron who should have waited another week before making even the mash potato attempt! May 1, I was able to eat the 85g Cloverleaf Flaked Light Tuna Lemon Pepper. Chewing slowly and eating half a teaspoon at a time. May 2, I scrambled one egg with some milk and didn't have a problem eating it. For lunch, I tried eating a couple of Premium saltine crackers with 85g of Cloverleaf Flaked Light Tuna Dill and Lemon. The crackers did not go down well. Similar reaction as the toast, not as painful, but uncomfortable nonetheless. Later, as a snack, I tried (and finished) a cup of chocolate Cheerios. Went down just fine and no pain. It took me a good half hour or so to finish... But who'd have thought? I think I'll try a cup for Breakfast tomorrow! I'm suppose to "officially" start the soft foods part on Monday and am looking forward to making homemade chilli and guacamole. Has anyone had any problems with either? I've been trying to get to my Calcium and protein goals each day, but it's bloody hard! Today I finally hit my calcium goal, but was still out by 11g for my protein. How's everyone else who was sleeved around the same time as me doing? Cheers! Mercedes -
Oh yeah, its on! I was up at 5 am and working out at the gym by 5:20 am this morning. Now, let me tell you, I was sooooo tired and didn't want to get up, after all I was at the gym until after 10:00 pm last night. But I knew that I would not be able to go tonight - so I forced myself up. I'm glad I did it! First of all, I had a great workout last night, it lasted 2 hours, I did 60 min on elliptical and 60 min with weights, working my lower body. This morning was pure cardio - did 45 min on the elliptical. Tomorrow, I'm planning on another 2 hours at the gym, planning on doing 60 min of cardio and 60 min of weights (working the upper body) Today's menu: 8:00 am - coffee w/cream 2 boiled eggs & 2 slices of thin bacon (290 cal) 11:00 - protein shake made with skim milk (200 cal) 2:00 - Tuna & broccoli (180 cal) 4:30 - yogurt, banana (160 cal) 6:00 - carrots & hummus (100 cal) 9:00 - Weight watchers snack - (140 cal) As you can see, I'm eating quite often, just small meals. Trying to blast my matabolism by eating every 2 to 3 hours. I also retook my measurements last night, and I did not weigh this morning. I put the scales up. I am avoiding the scales until 12/14/09. A two week progress check. I will re-measure and weigh at that time to see how I'm doing. Okay, I'm off to work..............

My best friend is super excited for me now that my surgery date is getting near. She's been with me through the I think I want it.. no wait I don't.. no wait I do's.. I've been through over the last 2 years we've been friends. When I finally decided to do this, she was shocked but super supportive. She began looking into it herself but due to insurance, it's not the right time for her. Last night we were talking and we came up with the idea to do a banded vs. unbanded challenge. She's going to eat the same foods and amounts as me or try to, and we're going to document the differences between the two. I think this will be interesting for the two of us, and for everyone considering the banding. We started today and will do this process for 1 year. Today is a ease into day. I don't technically start my pre-op diet til Monday, but I decided to get used to it by easing my way into. So for example today I had 2 protein shakes, but I also had cucumbers and crackers w/ ranch. The cucumbers not so bad, the crackers and ranch.. .well I think you already know lol. I also had soda which oddly enough I rarely drink, but because I "know" I'm not going to be able to, I suddenly just HAD to have it. lol Other than that it's been a normal day, the 2nd shake was MUCH better. Everything tastes better out of a wine or martini glass lol (that's really funny considering I don't drink lol) But I made a protein shake with a lil' yogurt, skim milk, ice and strawberries and it was almost on the verge of delicious. After the first one though it was like heaven to my mouth lol. In other news.. some people said my previous post was almost "pornographic" but obviously they don't understand that that's the point, I wanted to show how UNHEALTHY my relationship with food is/was. This is what I do... if my writing makes you think, laugh or hiss it's all intentional. Chances are that's the EXACT reaction I was going for. I know my writing style and personality isn't for everyone.. and that's why they invents the X at the top of the screen lol  Just kidding, I have :wink2: for everyone!

5:15 am - Hit the elliptical machine for 45 min 7:50 am - protein shake made with Jillian Michaels Protein powder, 1 cup skim milk, 1 TBSP peanut butter, 1 banana (383 cal) 8:35 - coffee with cream (60 cal) - I need to work on giving up the cream! 11:00 - nonfat yogurt mixed with 1/4 cup of raw oats - (203 cal) 2:00 pm - 10 baby carrots & 1/4 cup of hummus (175 cal) 6:00 pm - 2.5 oz of canned white meat chicken (70 cal) Okay, my neighbor brought me over an ENTIRE PIE tonight - thanking me for taking care of her house while she was out. My husband, who doesn't think at times, cut all of us a piece, so I ate a VERY small piece. 1/2 of a piece. BUT............ when I went to fitday.com, it was still about 350 calories! Glad I only ate a small piece. I warned my husband that if it is not hidden, or eaten when I wake up tomorrow, he is dead meat! hahaha. 7:30 pm - 1/2 of a piece of chocolate peanut pie - 350 cal. OUCH TOTAL CALORIES - 1250 cal - about that. Its my best estimate - the pie thru me off a bit because it was homemade. So I had somewhere between 1250 to 1350. Even thouigh I had a little sugar fix, I still don't feel too bad. My calories are not out of control, I exercised today, so I don't think it will ruin me. The beauty of the band is, just becuase I had a piece of pie doesn't mean I "give up". I just brush it off and move on. Tomorrow morning, back to the gym!

Day 3 of the pre - pre-op diet.. lol I started a week early just to ease my way into it. The first day the 1st protein shake was HORRIBLE. The 2nd one was tolerable. Day 2 I started off right, created a protein shake that was on the verge of delicious. Then I got derailed by some chocolate chip cookies with skim milk (because yeah that skim milk makes ALLLLLL the difference lol) and a pollo asado burrito for dinner.. WHAT??? It's protein... lol Ok so I fell off yesterday but I knew I would, that's why I did this a week early. Despite my falling off, everyone made comment about how great I looked and my energy level and I must admit I felt GREAT. People were asking me how much weight I've lost lol.. Umm I've been on a diet for 2.5 days, how much do you expect me to lose??? Lol but you know what? I will RECEIVE those compliments and how I feel! Today I ate a cucumber like it was THE BEST candybar I'd ever had.. I think I was just excited for the texture lol, but I also played around with some shake recipes which I will be posting here in my blog as I develop and taste them. Today's shake: 4oz Healthy Balance Apple Juice 2 tbsp vanilla non-fat yogurt (be careful with the sugar/carbs etc in your yogurt. Greek yogurt is best if you can find it - LOTS of protein, low carbs and little to no sugar.) 1 scoop vanilla Designer Whey protein mix handful of icecubes. Mix or blend, whichever you prefer, I've tried it both ways and they're both delicious. Well as delicious as it can be lol. Tomorrow I'll do one with Acai juice and see how it turns out. If you try the shake let me know what you think.

Favorite "fast foods" redux
LipstickLady replied to LisaMergs's topic in Post-op Diets and Questions
Sonic makes a junior Breakfast burrito that is egg, cheese, meat. The eggs are actually light and fluffy and the junior size is more than I can finish -- I would say at least two eggs. The menu says sausage, but I generally ask for bacon or ham and they are happy to do it. My kids say I eat it like a banana, I peel the tortilla off as I eat and dispose of it. Wawa gas station has great options if you are lucky enough to have one. Cups of yogurt, cheese sticks, fresh fruit, cheese and pepperoni mini plates. They also make awesome breakfast burritos all day with any veggie fillings you'd like. Their subs are also very good and you can load them up with all the veggies for free. I order the 4" and remove the top half of the bread. I still can't finish it. -
Had my first fill! Now What?
band teacher replied to lapbandchic73's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Thanks everyone. I'm trying today to really take it easy. Was on 24 hours of liquid (till 1:30 p.m.). I had a Protein shake (6 oz) at 7:30 a.m., a 5 oz Greek Yogurt at 11:00 a.m., Wendy's Chili (probably 8 oz) chewed till nothing at 1:30 p.m. and 5oz of tuna pureed with mayo at 4:30. Everything went down fine, nothing got stuck, feeling fine. Not full, but not starving. Hoping I'm not hungry tonight and if so, will drink liquid. I have not seen my actual surgeon since 8:00 a.m. on the day of my surgery. She is wonderful, but I would like to see her again. I have only seent he physician's asst. That is also who did my fill yesterday. I just find it weird that she asked me where my port was...'Umm, I think this is it??" Then said "it seems higher than we normally put them", then put the needle in, had me sit up and gulp Water, and I never felt anything with any gulp. Nothing. I have friends who have said they had to spit the water out. Then when I noticed the bandaid for the needle insertion was placed 3 inches below where I feel my port, it made me wonder if missing the port can happen? I even called back to question that and she assured me she wouldn't have gotten air out if she had missed the port. I wish I knew what the different parts of my new anatomy are. I feel a lot of tenderness/pain/lumps at the belly button (this is where they went in lapracopically, so I assume that is what that is from). Write under my ribcage, to the left is where I think my port is. Very hard bulge there, the best way I can describe it is when you are 9 months pregnant and the babies foot is pressing against you. That's exactly what it reminds me of. So is that the port, is that the band? Is the tenderness I feel from that or the hiatal hernia (no clue where that is). I'm sure in time, I'll be able to ask my surgeon (I'm requesting to see her for the next fill) and find out what all of these new parts of me are. Then I'll have a better understanding of what is normal and what is not. Thanks for the help. -
Can't get protein in
KristenLe replied to MarieLouise's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
@@MarieLouise It's bad. You need protein to heal and function. Find a liquid protein drink that you like, mix protein powder into a homemade shake or in yogurt. It's really important that you get the recommended amount. Hang in there. -

PS, if you are on puréed foods then Greek yogurt and cottage cheese both have a lot of protein. -
A typical day in the life?
pinkdots410 replied to LastOptionAtty's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
A day in the life for me is: I usually skip Breakfast or have a yogurt if I get hungry. I am typically not hungry until around noon...but I like to have *something* before then. I currently am on fill number 5 and I am really tight! I am even contemplating an unfill...as I have to eat slow and chew really really well...My days generally look like (samples of what I'll have): Day one - Breakfast - oatmeal and Water or coffee Snack - yogurt, a few mini pretzels lunch - soup and a cheese stick Snack - a few pretzels and cheese stick dinner - a small portion of whatever my husband makes... (usually meat and veggies of some sort) and/or Protein shake Snack - sherbet Day two - Breakfast - Protein Shake and water Snack - yogurt Lunch - grilled chicken and gravy Snack - orange juice and cheese stick Dinner - grilled chiken and gravy Snack - sherbet On the weekends, I splurge a little and have a few bites of "junk food" - pizza, cheesesteaks, subs...MIND YOU - I mean literally 1 or 2 bites...it either gets stuck and comes back up, OR I don't have an interest...my mindset about food has changed soooo much. It's really crazy! (in a good way) Rules for me are - as much protein as possible. I have to have my meat with some type of broth or gravy or it gets stuck and comes right back up! So I try to get good sources of protein in there and be sure to take my Vitamin. I wish you the best of luck!! Feel free to ask any questions! -
Until last week I too had been struggling with what to eat and how much. My surgeon said a saucer of food was how much I should eat 3 times a day. Well I could fit alot of food on a saucer. I thought I was doing right, but I was not losing at all once I went to solid foods. One of his office staff came to the montly support group meeting and brought us a menu plan to try for a month. It was set up by their onstaff nutritionist. It's really helped. I've been on that plan for 6 days and I've lost 5lbs. I thought I'd share it with you all in case anyone is interested. On this plan I'm allowed to choose 3 meals and 1 snack per day and ONLY eat what's on this list. My doctor's mostly focused on watching fat grams so that's why items are fat free whenever possible. This is an example of what I typically eat on an average day when not working out. small glass of soymilk oatmeal (instant) or egg beaters yogurt (lowfat) piece of lowfat cheese chicken/steamed veggies (lunch) low fat rice cakes cottage cheese beef Jerky fish with Beans or veggies 1 orange whole grain cracker (about 15 of them) piece of cheese I eat about every 2-3 hours. about 4-5 oz This list is in order. of course I change things up if I am working out which I will eat more for energy needs. I eat often and drink about 80 oz of Water. I am never hungry. good luck.

For what it's worth - I have a plan with what to eat, but not amounts. I too, don't feel full. I get hungry - not head hunger - frequently and feel a bit lost as to what I need to be doing to not overeat but don't want to feel hungry all the time. I'm eating small amounts for safety 2-4 ounces depending on what it is. But don't feel particularly satisfied. To be really frustrated, in addition to not feeling satisfied and frequently hungry, I'm not losing weight at less than two weeks out. Had a Protein shake with 130 calories for Breakfast 2 ounces unsweetened Greek yogurt for snack and a Protein Drink for lunch. Will have unsweetened applesauce for snack. Am drinking 3-5 liters of Water a day.

Thanks for the replies. I don't know why I can have fried, but not scrambled or boiled. I think I will try the egg beaters. I can't have milk with lactose now either, but I can have cheese and yogurt. Strange sleeve!
