    first nsv!

first, a quick background... my dh is not supportive of this at all. he has never been one to acknowledge any weight i may have lost or any of that sort of thing. that said... this morning, he actually told me i was getting skinnier! holy crap, i about died. seriously. i pretended like i didnt hear him and said, what? and he repeated it. and i had a second round of heart failure. :faint: it has just totally made my day and i had to share.

    Kind of funny NSV

Congrats on the NSV! I had one today too. I have a pic of me and some co-workers on my desk. A student was in my office and said "Who's that lady in the middle?" I said "it's me!" He said "I couldn't tell!" Of course I was 80 pounds heavier in the photo, so that was nice!

Yes this is my eye - the other one was my daughters, did anyone notice I changed it? I know its kinda dumb but I just couldn't find another avatar that I liked. Scale or no scale? Scales are addictive. I have 2. I have the dear sweet one who is 4 lbs less then the dr scale (she's the one I listen to) and then I have a new fangled digital thats suppose to tell me how much I lost from the last time I stepped on her. Shes right on with the dr scale - but the dr's assistant told me to go by the one at home - so I choose the one that tells me sweet things. You girls crack me up when you say you hid the scale - if you know where it is it really isn't hidden. Kay I don't know if I'm too tight or what. I ate a slice of pizza for supper last night and I was fine. Thin crusted, without eating the edge crust. I just ate a piece of chicken, like a chicken tender and it was fine. I'm stuffed but not pb'ing stuffed. I haven't been tracking cal. since this fill but I'm guessing I'm between 600 & 1000 - depending on the day. Maybe less on some days. Who said they drink a couple glasses of water to keep from getting on the scale - sweethot? There is no way I can drink a couple glasses of water. I have to sip water. Sip sip sip - even when I'm dying of thirst and want to chug it down. Nat - poopy in the water - lol too darn funny! My kids never did that but my dog did poop in my car today. I had to run one to the vet for an allergy shot so while we were in the office the other dog was waiting impatiently in the car - I came out to a pile of poop on my front seat. She really is a Shit-zu! NSV well kinda - I'm down to nothing to wear now - so I'm digging in my closet this morning and find a pair of olive green slacks that were too darn tight for YEARS - and I'm feeling all "oh yeah I got a new pair of slacks to wear". Wrong. I put them off and they hung on me, they were way too big, size 14 - way too big? :omg: I was ticked bc I had hoped to wear them but it felt good to not fit them too. I completely missed wearing them. Bandiva - hey girlfriend! thanks for sharing that with us. I really needed to hear it from someone. I need to be extra careful bc I know I'm tight. :welldone2:On being 100 lbs lighter!!! Thats wonderful!!! Work sucks - I have to go work on next years budget. UGH!!! Theres so much crap going on here over raises and one is mad bc the other is getting a bigger raise... men are the most immature jerks! Speaking of men - Boo how sweet of him to think of you. Sounds beautiful - you'll have to take a pic and show us.

    Kind of funny NSV

Congrats on your NSV. It's a great feeling isn't it. I always keep a pair of jeans that are to small on the chair in my room where I can see them for motivation. Every couple weeks I try them on. When I can finally get them up, buttoned and zippered it is the best feeling.

    Kind of funny NSV

Thats great! I have been having quite a few NSV lately too! I was creaping into a size 20 pants before my surgery and just went shopping. I took a pair of 16 and 18 (just in case) and the 16 fit perfect! I did a happy dance in the dressing room, now how often does that happen!?!?! Another NSV that I have is crossing my legs and pulling my legs up on my chair, I haven't been able to do that in a long time! What other NSV are you all celebrating!:whoo:

    Kind of funny NSV

So, last night I got home, was getting undressed and said to my wife, "Wanna see something kinda cool?" She said yes, so I unbuckled my belt and took my 3 weeks ago snug pants off without even unbuttoning them. They practically fell off of me. She just laughed and said I looked great...actually that's two NSVs. :whoo:

Bandiva! Sorry about the obstruction, glad you got a new doctor out of it! And, how awesome on the 100lb loss! YOU GO GIRL! sweet - keep up with the SB. And sorry about the flat tire. I hate car trouble. B'man - you go girl! Keep up the good work! Kaydoll - seriously? This is like the 4th or 5th time he's shit in the tub. Drives me bananas. Hot water poo poo is the nastiest thing! UGH. So anyhow, I signed on to tell y'all my NSV. I just took my measurements. THEN I compared to my starting point measurements! Since December 1, 2006 I have lost: Neck: 1" Bust: 5.5" Ribs: 4.25" Waist: 4.5" Hips: 8.25" Arms: 3.25" Thigh: 6.75" Calves: 3" I've lost over 8" on my hips! That is a HUGE success for my uberbootiliciousness. I am ready to cross the great divide. Just 23 lbs to go! Wait, how long til T'gvg? I better get cracking! Okay, it's 7:20 and I'm butt ass naked sitting on the bed. Guess I'm going to be late for work today. (HA!) Later! Nat

    Anyone Else 5'1-5'2"??

Congratulations on such a wonderful NSV. I'm an "F" Cup and I think I cried when I finally got my stomach smaller than my chest. It felt SO GOOD! I AM PROUD OF YOU AND YOUR HARD WORK!:clap2:

    Is hair loss a given?

Wow--that is the best NSV ever--reduction/elimination of back pain! Terrific! Your experience with ESI is outrageous. Mine are done under fluoro and he hits it the first time. Since the steroids take a few days to kick in, it is common to also add a short-acting local anesthetic so you are pain-free immediately. I hope you never need one again! It must be nice to have youth on your side, but really I'm just happy that they help. A lot of people don't respond to ESI.

    Couch to 5K - Week of 14 ? 20 October

Hey guys, I did my 3rd run today. It went good, I actually wanted to keep running when he said it was time to walk. I'm so proud of myself not only for doing the first week but also for getting over my fear of running on the treadmill!! It turns out that I don't go flying off the end. Daddy- Thats such a great NSV, one I think we can all share. cambra- hopefully your hips will feel better soon. Do you have good shoes? trystelle- I know I don't want to skip days either, but I'm trying to start slow and stick with the program because I don't want to overwork myself at the start. I am thinking of running every other day rather than 3x a week thou. What do you think? Karen G- no port pain here, the only pain that i had today was that my pants kept sliping down! Not much of a pain but it sure was annoying. JS- I'm sure you will be able to get back in the swing of things in no time at all. Losing- good job with your 2nd day... but what are you doing on this website while your at work j/k:p

    Steady losers ;-)

Just popping in to say HI. I'm having my morning latte, which lasts me through lunch. I'll eat tuna pack w/crackers at about 1:30 and drink some water. Dinner I'll probably have another buffalo chicken whip (thanks Kaydoll for mentioning that!). I whip it chunky and sprinkle bleu cheese on top. Holding strong at 222.5, which is bullshit. I need to put the scale away until the end of the month when I will undoubtedly bust strong into the 2-teens. Oh, NSV. I went to the drivethrough Beaners, but the line was too long so I got my can out of the car and went inside! Last year at this time I would have waited in the line, pissed because they were going so slowly! NSV2 - I am wearing a pair of Jones New York olive green, side zip, no-waist pants that I have never worn before! They have always been too tight (and were tooooo small when I bought them!). My sz 14 jacket is baggy on me, too! I am feeling kinda good today, mommas! I didn't exercise last night, so I am bound and determined to hit it hard tonight. I'm sure that's why the blasted scale isn't cooperating. Not in the mood to be at work today, I can tell you that. Not in the mood for meetings or being politically nice to people. I hate everybody. Seriously. EVERYBODY. Nat

Shrinking Violets -- April 07 Bandsters

Well.... it all depends... I will have to pay the lawyer to draw up the petition and then pay to have it served and then see what he does.... if he denies it then it goes to us proving him unfit and all that jazzz ........... OH well today we won and my son's brain is safe for another day..... ON the NSV side of life............. I decided to get the step ladder out and dig out my BELOVED size 12 levis that have been taking up residence in the tippy top shelf of my closet... I decided I needed a new goal jean since my 14's are looking fine.............. I have ABOUT 5 pairs..... varying styles of mainly OFCOURSE Levis jeans........... wellllllll I just about pee'd myself when the first pair I tried on FIT! DID YOU READ THAT??? I AM WEARING A SIZE 12 RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE MY BAND...... I MEAN I FREAKING LOVE MY BAND! I did try on another pair and they are a bit from buttoning... they are lower cut.... I could probably wench them on but the fact that the other ones DID fit really made my day! I asked DH what he wanted me to fix for dinner.......... (anything, I said)... so he requested my FRIED TACO's.......... ooowww... they are soooooooo good and make such a mess, but I DID ASK so I'm off to the store. I want you to know that I wore my WWJD bracelett today...... thank you Terry so much for it and to all my violet sistahs for sending your PURPLE VIBES today! It is amazing how much real life support I get from my online group........ And YES... I WILL be wearing the 12's to the store...... shakeit shakeit shakeit!

Hey Girls. Still working the mushies. So far I am thinking I like this fill. I feel satisfied without feeling stuck. We'll see how it goes when I transition to "real" food. How are you all today? Nat-thanks for the compliments. It's funny that the before pic was after surgery and already down 22lbs. I have some REAL before pics but they are not "posed". I am seeing a major difference in my face. Sadly, I am now getting some wrinkles where I think my fat was stretching the skim all nice and tight. Now I have these smile wrinkles that are freaking me out! Ugh. My booty is definitely a lot smaller. I Think I have lost about 6 or so inches off my hips. I will always have some junk back there, but at least I can leave the room and now it comes with me!!! haha. I know you know what I mean my fellow bootylicious sister! You are looking fantastic! Keep it up girl. I am so proud of you. Bandiva-I too am curious about the obstruction. WHat happened and how are you feeling? Did I read right that you went from empty to 2cc in 1 fill? Just curious. Does anyone else's MD fill that way? Mine is so conservative. I think I went from empty to 1cc, to 1.4cc and now 1.8cc which he called aggressive. It is just odd how all the MD's are so different and I think they are all convinced that their way is the right way. I am wondering why there isn't some standard. I know we all are individual and will react differently to different fill levels, I just would think there would be a standard that they would all use while we find that ultimate level. Guess that is why I don't make the big bucks. At any rate, nice to see you! Boo-did you see that Nat called you BooBooTitty? That had me rolling! She is so funny and I think the name is apropros! I think the sisters will be fantastic after reduction. I love that whole defying gravity thing! I know someone that I thought was a little heavy, she had her breasts reduced and looked so much slimmer, but still have a good chest. Funny how they will change your perception. You look great now, imagine how great you will look after! And best of all, you will FEEL great. Hot mama. BTW Nat-I didn't make it back to the gym yesterday but I did do my FIRM video. I forgot I even had them. Man my ass and thighs are killing me today. It was funny though, the last time I did them, the cardio near killed me. I had no trouble this time. I sweat like a pig and got out of breath, but felt much stronger. Cool! I do want to kill the women that are in the video...you should never be that happy about stepping up and down off some stupid fanny lifter. It hurts! As far as Latin/African dance...I am way to white bread. :cry I THINK I have rythmn and can dance until I need to do something choreographed! No dancing with the stars for this chick. NSV-I bought size 16 jeans at Old Navy that fit about a month ago. I went back and got some 16 chino type pants as well. Yup, they were so tight it was obscene. Well, now in the past 2 weeks the jeans have become baggy and I wore the pants yesterday! They were 16 with no stretch! I am so happy. On to 14s before I know it!!!! It is funny, I was in a 20 forever, then an 18 for like 25lbs. All of a sudden, 10 pounds and I can fluctuate down a size. CRAZY!!! That means 40lbs and I could be a size 10. WATCH OUT!!!!

suzzzie GREAT total WL. glad you were able to get your ticker updated, the visual helps Celebrate:whoo:!! Enjoy your NSV with the clothes!! nv you most likely need a fill. Like the others said, it takes a while to get there. I have 6cc in my 10cc and feel some restriction but not to the point of only accepting 3 bites! However, I want to get to the sweet spot, but I don't want to be pbing either. Some docs will put in tiny bits at a time. if you only have 1cc, I am thinking your band size is not a 10 but a 4 something? when is your next appointment? My three fills were 4 weeks apart. I don't have another appointment until December, 8 weeks, and my NP told me to make an appointment for a flouro fill in between if I feel I need it. All docs are different. stef/suzzzie I looked at the bracelets, they are designer!! Like you suzzie I never thought of wearing one because I did not want a sign on me for that, but now that I see the nice ones, I think I will go for it! I wish I new a beader like Stef to make me different ones! I am thinking at the mall and some stores, you could buy the beaded ristlets that are availbalbe for watches and they would be the same? Stef, what do you think??
