Karla - My meat is oscar meyer sandwich - brown sugar deli ham - not actual deli meat -but that would work too - 6 slices is like 50 cal - cheese 45 - so really you could have 2 servings - I'm good w/one most days. Can't say I stay full till lunch - I get hungry around 10:30 - 11 - and I try to drink then.. I do ok on workout days w/my water I take a 20 oz and I will have it gone by the end of the hour - but that's 1/3 of our water - but I do have at least 2 - 10 oz coffee and then 8-16 oz of juice at nite and 12 oz of ice tea in the afternoons (need the caffiene to keep going).. But some days (non exercise days) all I get is my coffee and a little juice- then I have 2 problems tight and tmi ;0) -

Candice, scratch, scratch...sorry, been there, occasionally called 'crotch rot', I know TMI Anyway, I haven't had any blood work done for several years. I knew it was bad, so why get it tested to find out it is still bad. Up until lately, I had so many drs. poking, proding, and flayling me open that I didn't really want to have anything to do with them for a long time. I know I will be going back soon. My doc holds my prescriptions for ransom. But I delay it as long as possible. I usually can get the pharmacy to fill things for an extra couple of months. However, I know she is going to want to take my estrogen away, and right now...over my dead night sweat body. I did reduce the level in half this year, maybe I'll go for a quarter next year. I have always used the patch, but this year I am going to have to go back to the pills, the patch costs me $60 per month and I can get the pills for under $10. I know Steph, I got so ticket off at how the ex was treating DD#4 that I couldn't even get past my anger. I need to figure out what EXACTLY she needs and then send it out there. Nag me okay. Send DD#5 off to college tomorrow. I am really bummed that I can't help her move in. It is my fir PIR day at school and the rule is..."Thou shall only be excused if dead!" So after school I will head in to see that she is settled and maybe take her out to dinner. It is only 20 miles away, but she is such a social bug it really is like 1000 miles away. We will rarely see her. Took the puppies for their walk and then mowed the yard and north 40. After DD#4 gets back home with my car I am heading into school. Need to unload thos boxes of school stuff I brought home for the summer and NEVER touched. Yeah like I ever do. Some day I will realize that and just skip bringing stuff home. Cooking stir-fry for DD#5's 'last supper', her favorite. On the exercise thing, I am walking 4 miles a day. Tomorrow I will ride my bike to school and back. Not very far, only a total of 6 mi. -

Good Morning! Looks like another beautiful day in the desert! Just PB'd on my coffee... right in to my lap! What fun----coffee slime! Sorry.... TMI!! Prompted by a coughing fit.... cough still holding on even though other symptoms are gone. Not bad, but always troublesome in the morning. Good thing I had a box of kleenex within reach! Earl spoke this morning... as he went out the door.... are you ready for this.... "SEE YOU AT THE POOL"!! WOW!! There was a hidden message in it, I'm sure... because I was 5 minutes late yesterday and he HATES when that happens!! LOL! Let's see... do I remind him that it's beading day or just not show up back at the RV until 2 or 3 pm after the pool!?? Decisions, decisions!! HAHAHA! I'm SO bad! -

Me too!! BAM!! Instant erection. Or was that TMI, like the whole valtrex / genital wart fiasco? Yeah! What tap said! I suspect she's off somewhere being awesome....probaly in cahoots with LosingJustMe... Woah! That's quite a career! And PJTP, I recently friended Lulu on facebook. Turns out she's pretty cute for a New York liberal transplant to Texas (I strangely didn't see any warts, so I had to remove mine as well). I'd have never thunk it. Don't tell her though......that would ruin my redneck rep.

I hope your right Monique lol. I'll tell you what, the food was damn good, but not worth 9 lbs LOL...I am sure it's just everything sitting. TMI But I am backed up BAD when I diet....WTH? Have fun tomorrow ladies, I guess your going to a meeting?

MOrning ladies....... Waiting for Jury duty!! Well I think I had an episode that came very close to dumping last night. Lap band dumping which I didn't think existed. Someone told me it did at the last group meeting. All over ice cream. I haven't had ice cream, or more than a couple bites in over 15 weeks. I went to rite aid and got two scoops. I don't know why except I was having problems eating this weekend and I figured the ice cream would be a nice treat and would stay down. I was up until 3am with the worse cramps and the runs!! It was very painful and the only thing I can think is that darn ice cream...............I thought I was gonna explode!! TMI I know, I know............ My system cannot handle alot of things anymore. But serious ice cream I would have never guess................not even tempted now. Scared me a bit. So I am also back to following the rules 100% this week!! LOL.

OMG Tina, I think you SO need to be a foster mom! Put some prayer into this one - sounds like you are already feeling some peace about it - the right thing will happen :-) I'm not talking about a 2-lb. gain here, I am talking about 6+ LBS!!! Way too much too be just water - I think. Although I did just pee for the 6th time this morning, TMI and LOL at the same time - so a lot of it is water and a lot of it is fatty liver from my carb-fest that started in oregon over a week ago, but some of it is also the fact that I am still doing what worked for me 80 lbs. ago, and my body is much much smaller and I need to do different stuff (like eat less, and change my exercise, and add in weights . . . ) now to keep moving forward. One thing that I CAN say is that since I have gained this, I do feel my band now! It will not let me gain back past a certain amount, and I am SO grateful for that! And also my clothes are not any tighter, and people keep commenting that I am still losing . . . so I am trying not to get disouraged and just pour in the water (already on 50+ this morning, hence the TMI above!) and walk a lot more! I did 11 miles yesterday and only 800 calories and still somehow managed to gain - probably because I have 4 servings of super-salty soup, calories count said I was over 5000 mg of sodium yesterday and if any of that had iodone in it, that is what the gain is from - I am allergic and swell like heck. But anyways!!!

Good morning violets....welcome to the new violets Terri-well, I managed to get my lazy a$$ out of bed this morning so that at the least is a positive thing, right? LOL The good news is the scale went down the 1.5 I had gained. The fluid pill did its job. Thank God. Now for the other 1 I gained....the fibersure should take care of that...TMI i know. Everyone have a great day and remember what Judy always says!! We miss you mdrai & pamela!! -
Pam – In the pre-op classes for the post-op meal plan they taught both measuring by weight and by size (cups) for band patients. My binder has it done both ways for band patients, not sure why but some food is measured by weight and other stuff is measured by size. For Sleeve they make sure it is all measured by size only. I had my first real what you guys call PB’ing today. I was so tired of Purees I decided to have a very small amount of Boston Market Chicken and mashed potatoes. I really had just a small amount, about 1/3 cup of food total. It will take me a week to finish the one plate I bought. Well everything went down ok and I was pleased as I’ve had some thick soups that went down and I felt pressure of such a small stomach. I had about 1/3 cup of white meat chicken, mashed potatoes and corn bread. All of it fit into a 1/3 cup. I chewed it very well. About ten minutes later I was salivating over the sink for ten minutes. I burped a couple times which made me feel better so I went to sit down. Bad move because a few minutes later I ran for the sink and everything I ate came back up. Sorry for the TMI. What was so different was it was such a slow regurgitation. I was a bit scared. I’m only a couple days away from moving to soft foods so I hope this gets better as it was not fun! I guess this is what I get for moving ahead a couple days early. Going to talk to the doc next week about the incident. Sleeve patients are supposed to be able to eventually eat about a cup of food in one sitting. I hope everyone if having a wonderful weekend! Looking forward to hearing about the wedding!

Ok ladies. .... So ... I just spent the am in the bathroom. I have not had fibersure in 3 days, it was not working, but.... here is a question... does anyone know if crystal light has sugar alcohol? The only thing I have done different 2 times, the 1st being when i started fibersure, and the 2nd being yesterday afternoon because I ust got more was drinking tons of crystal light rasp green tea to go packs. And when I say tons, I am talking about 80oz a day. I couldn't even eat more than a few bites of my eggs this am because i felt like i was going to die, and had a green tea on my way out this am. I know... TMI.... but I don't understand why i'm not working right! off to lie in the sun, mower is dead as a doornail! -
COCO: I had GERD and terrible reflux before surgery. None since. A couple days of reflux when the band was to tight but honestly the band totally cured my GERD and I had it really, really bad pre band. John you fit right in now I don't feel so bad about all my TMI posts. LOL. Did well today until I had ice cream with MIchaela. Ah geez gotta start over and I was having such a great day before that...............

Oh, I forget - I had my Robin appt today and I move to Stage IV on Wed. Can't wait to be able to chew something! Also, in the spirit of TMI - I've lost 4 inches off my bra size (actually skipped a size) - but my hubby is happy since my cup size is the same! -

hi again, ok, so for starters - I think the sourkraut (sp) that I've been eating for the last 2 days is working! YIPEE (i know TMI) Second - I have lost 38.5lbs since 4/16 and 58.5 total since January 8, 2007. I hope to be holding the 40lb mark strong by the 16th - my 3 month badiversary. I don't know about a meeting place - as we think of places lets just throw them out there and put some thought into it.? -

Girl you are not whiny you just had major surgery!! I will tell you I had it right under my left rips and I felt like I was a ballon about to pop for almost two weeks. It hurt so bad I was almost in tears at times............gasx and vicodan only dulled the pain but it hurt 24/7 for awhile. I think your shoulders must be gas too............. I hated to walk because it hurt so bad but when I walked I would belch and fart away (TMI I KNOW, I KNOW) and it would be instant relief!! But I seriosly paced my backyard for about 15 minutes at a time than had to sit down because it hurt so bad!! It took alot of walking to work it all out.....another think I did was pull my knees to my chest and just hold it like that for awhile to push the air out that worked too but so glad no one else was home at the time........LOL. All of a sudden I woke up one day and it was totally gone. I know for the first two weeks every time I eat the gas got worse.........and seriously though it was gonna push up through my chest it hurt so badly..............somehow I survived it one day, one hour at time. But OMG it hurt........... Walk and Gasx my friend!! And contort your body into strange positions to push it out!! I won't tell!! LOL

Well I am this groups Band Granny....!!!! But here are my stats---- Banded 04/24/06 1.75 cc's in a 10cm band designed to hold up to 4cc.'s (I think is how they told me!!!) I have had 2 fills, have not been adjusted since last July, and still have restriction! I have lost 91.5 pounds. Would do this again in a heartbeat!!! This may fall along the lines of Judy's hooha issue and be TMI----but along with "seeing" it again, other things change as well---and improve A LOT!!!!! Seems as though if you can see it, it works better---imagine that!!! Tomorrow we are having an early dinner with my DIL's grandparents who we have never met, then we will be leaving for Albuquerque to have Ricks heart fixed. Getting nervous. My Mom and Dad are going to come down to be with me. Which is good/bad!!! I am very glad they are going to be there, but them opting to come, puts it to where our kids are not going to be able to. Son is busy with his new inlaws, and was really struggling with his wife, over it, she was livid that he was going to leave, so we convinced him to stay. My SIL to be is in Houston for 2 weeks with work, so my DD is home alone with both kids...so with her daughter she could call on her ex, and let her stay with Daddy, but not the stepdaughter....and if my Mom isn't home, she has noone to leave them with. The other person she has watch them is her sister on her Dads side, and she just got married yesterday and is off honeymooning....so no kids will be there. DH is fine with that, I am too for the most part, I realize it can't be helped. I will be glad to have my parents. I am surprised, but none of DH's family is going---I think it is because they are pissed off at me, but too bad! We will be fine. I would not admit it to him, but I am afraid to go alone. The last ordeal with him, when he had the GI bleed, and the Dr. told me he would likely expire (oh how I hate that word now!!!) in the next 10 minutes----I have no idea what I would have done if I were alone....I am scared to face this alone now. I don't tell him that tho. Anyway---please remember him in your prayers girls---. Well, I am off to take a walk, while it has cooled down. Will check in with you guys later!!! Kat -

PJTP...I'm sitting at my desk and wishing I was at home! Just came in from a 3-hour training class...snooze! I nearly fell asleep several times, which isn't good, because I was the ONLY person in the class! Somehow I made it through, and I think I'll even retain most of what I heard - as long as I practice... Susan - I wish you a speedy and pain-free recovery for both feet! Donna - I hope you are not over-filled, but please get yourself checked...I'd hate to go through that at night. TMI Alert: After having NO pb'ing so far, I've pb'ed twice in the last two days on food that gave me NO trouble prior to my first fill. I guess what I've read is true - it does take a while for the fill to 'catch up' to ya - I had my fill on January 6th, then felt a little restriction for about a week. After that, it seemed as if nothing had been done, but the past two days, I've been feeling tight. Guess I'll have to take it easy and eat even slower, chew even more and see what happens. I'm all for losing weight faster, but I can definately do WITHOUT the pb'ing - that was nasty!:cursing: -

Laura i'm sorry you are getting worse, feel better! My ear and head feel great today, but now I'm shitting my brains out and after my lunch time antibiotic now I want to thow up. ... TMI sorry... this is why I don't like to take antibiotics unless I am beyond the point of sick. Well, I guess I'll be in Onderland in not time at this rate. I'm down 10lbs in a week off to work, have a great night all -
Sherri.............That is ALOT of weight!!! I know your miserable but it almost makes it worth is I would think??? That is GREAT!! Hope your feeling better soon.......... I am banded and I still throw up sometimes. Sometimes cause I eat to much and sometimes things just don't settle right.............if I eat to much sugar I get the runs (TMI I Know) just about everytime...........sorta like band dumping I guess. But the further out I get the more my stomach is settling and not getting so upset about things............well fills and unfills cause it to flare its temper but foods no so much anymore. It gets better............

Took a few days for me to go to the bathroom..........TMI but you asked. The port will hurt for awhile. Mine was still swollen at 6 weeks. But eventually it goes down and the pain fades out. I can still feel the port but it doesn't bug me unless I move wrong than it sorta hurts until I move again.....but even though I thought it would never stop hurting ......one day I just realized it doesn't bother me anymore..............

Hi Chrissy – That is good to hear. That’s what my doc said too. It’s just when you’re bent over hacking up saliva and sometimes food you think should it be happening this often… Good luck on your one month challenge! Some people only have to lose about 10 pounds so don’t kill yourself trying to beat it. Some of us could lose that in one sitting. Ok TMI.
