Yum!! Do you chop up the pistachios or can you get them crushed? I recently saw a new flavor Light and Fit yogurt. It’s called Toasted Cocunut. I need to find out the sugars on it first but I was thinking about getting g that flavor instead of my usual strawberry and adding pistachios to it! -

You could try a mixture of olive oil, lemon, and garlic with fresh cracked black pepper. When you go to eat it cold try a mixture of low-fat Mayo (or yogurt), lemon, salt and a dash of hot sauce. It’s the sauce they use for cold lobster rolls. I’m kind of a snob though when it comes to fats and the only time I willfully eat margarine is in my mom’s no bake cookies. -

Ugh and I love the yogurt. I’ve been able to eat the strawberry light and Fit with berries in it and didn’t have gurgling and “other” issues lol Prob the nuts. I have slowly weeded out artificial sweeteners from almost everything...exception so far is yogurt. Even w my coffee I use Truvia. It was def and adjustment. What other yogurt could I eat. Seems like if you go low cal low fat it’s artificial sweetener. If you don’t think it’s full of sugar and fat. -

My husband is from NYC and made chopped cheese for his lunch and made a special one for me: 1/3 cup ground turkey seasoned with salt, zatar seasoning, and hot sauce all cooked until done and chopped into pieces in the pan 2 TBSP non fat greek yogurt 2 teaspoons of sugar free ketchup He knows I love pickles and went the extra mile and grated in a half sour pickle spear for me. It was delicious and filling and just everything I wanted for lunch on the soft meat stage. -

IKR!? BUTTTTT, look at it this way. Lemme just show you the break out if you only have mocha pudding. For about a 6oz serving (Oui Yogurt Glass), it's only like 83cals. And you get omega 3's, healthy soluble fiber, protein, etc, etc, etc. Chocolate Protein Pudding: 86cals; 6g protein; 5g fat; 8g carbs; 7g fiber; 1g net carbs Imagine this without the blueberries and walnuts. That's more than a 1/2 cup of fat free pudding. -

First time posting meals but I did read through almost the first 100 pages of the thread. Let me just say, there was a lot of salad and yogurt... and I plan to continue that trend. 😂 Breakfast was 1/2 cup nonfat plain Greek with 2tbsp peanut butter powder and 1/4 cup frozen berries. Ended up eating the rest for first dinner (5pm). Oh, and no sugar added hot chocolate with a scoop unflavored protein powder (not pictured). Lunch was 1/2 cup cottage with 2 slices roasted turkey slices and sautéed with 1/4c onion, 1/4 cup zucchini some garlic, and some garlic chili sauce. Second Dinner 7pm was a low carb tortilla crusted with shredded cheese blend and dipped in 1/4 cup simply ragu. Ended up eating the whole thing over an hour. -

That looks really good. What is Matcha? A brand of yogurt or something you added to it? Ceremonial grade green tea, super concentrated. Sorry I'm missing notifications and I'm seeing everything super late... I add lemon flavored stevia so it's like lemon green tea yogurt, I'm *Tom Cruise voice* literally addicted. I love it. It tastes amazing and natural But I'm a person who loves stevia, golden milk and Kale... Your taste may differ -

My Nutritionist did a food demo this week and here they are. No after picture but I finished them both. For perspective the glass is a a shot glass and bowl is a small dessert bowl. She served less than an once of yogurt in each. They both were great and opposites on flavor. My wife hates food demos because I skip out in dinner. -

Sunday brunch out. Needed a break from cooking this week. Tried new excellent restaurant in town porch side. We ordered a sampling feast for plenty of leftovers. Shrimp + slivered cauliflower, date, kale, roasted almond salad with lemon vinaigrette. Classic Cuban sandwich with pineapple aioli. Chicken and red velvet waffles with spicy maple syrup + lemon yogurt. The best meal out in a very long time. I ate two shrimp and ¼ of the salad. Enjoyed the salad, shrimp and some chicken again for Monday's dinner. Hub's been eating the rest. ;] -

it may look like mashed potatoes and beef with spices, but it's actually greek yogurt and dates...with spices lol. ever since someone on here mentioned they put black pepper on thier yougurt years ago, i have since preferred my yogurts to be more savory than sweet. i often put other "uncommon" stuff on my yogurts: roasted garlic, carmelized onions, anchovies, cucumbers, bacon, olive oil.. 228 calories for this one. ate it all. -

B: 1/2 cup FF cottage cheese with 1/2 container FF peach Yoplait yogurt Morning snack: same as above. Only staying full about two hours now instead of four. Lunch: 1 1/2 cups V8 tomato herb soup and one slice FF swiss cheese Afternoon snack: 5.5 oz can of V8 juice Dinner: Cup of turkey stock with about four chunks of stuffing mixed in until saturated and completely soft Restriction is definitely going away and I am anxious to start blended meats and things on Friday. I try to stay under 1000 calories. Using MyDailyPlate.com to track my intake and it really helps. -
I Got My Surgery Date...Where Are The November Bandsters?

I'm still on liquids. I called my nutritionist this morning and whined at her. It's a good thing she has a charming southern accent and I love her. I was like, "mashed potatoes?....smooshed peas?.....cottage cheese?....." Nope. Nope. Nope. Thank God, she called my nurse and they agreed to let me have some pureed stuff, soups, etc. I had cream of wheat for dinner and it was SO GOOD. I've never had it before, but I savored every little bit. I can have grits. Not oatmeal, too many pieces. I can have yogurt, if I let it melt in my mouth before swallowing it. I think my surgeon is kind of strict. Pretty much anything pureed, but she doesn't want me to go down the smoothie road. She says it's too hard to stop. Right now I would love to go make some more cream of wheat, but........I'm not hungry. I just want to eat. I just want to savor the flavor of something on my tongue. I'm ready to cook up this Lean Cuisine Ravioli, chew it, and then spit it out, just so that I can taste it!!! I need serious help. Time to turn my thoughts to something besides for food. I think I'll start reading this Overeaters Anonymous book I just got in the mail.:cursing: -

Had my postop today. He said I am way above average in recovery time and amount of weight lost, so that is fantastic. He told me I can start cottage cheese, non-liquid yogurt, very moist tuna salad, things of similar consistency. He wants me to wait another week before blending any meats or casserole type things. Made my first fill appointment for three weeks! Dec 22nd, and I am glad...I get a little bit looser every day.
