    2 1/2 Italian meatballs, high protein vanilla yogurt and 3 strawberries.
  3. A few days of postings to do - away on business with catered, limited band or diet friendly foods. Thursday B: 1 oz choose L: chicken wrap minus the tortilla S: worlds largest plum - looked more like an apple - a plapple? D: 2 egg cheese and mushroom omelette (slid down easily with all the grease - ick) Friday B: yogurt and strawberries S: cheese stick L: cream of something unknown soup S: yogurt D: 1/2 c fried rice and hot sausage Saturday (home again) B: oatmeal L: bowl of lentil soup with grated cheese (it's ba-ack, Luluc) S: apple D: blue-eyes' meatballs - maybe 4, with cheese and veggie S: popscicle
  4. That powdered peanut butter does sound like a good idea. Peanut butter seems the only thing I can put into a protein shake to make me drink it. Defeats the purpose if the protein drink has 500 calories in it. Today- B-yoplait strawberry yogurt L-leftover zucchini dish from yesterday (you were right luluc-it was better) D-4 oz meatloaf, .3 cup mashed potatoes, half of cornbread muffin (much needed fill tomorrow)

    What ya eating tonight?

    I've been wanting chicken salad in lettuce wraps. I typically make my chicken salad with a little greek yogurt, mayo, crasians, and celery. I can't have the crasians, the celery, or the lettuce yet but this will be my first meal once I can. It's also good with cut up green apple and red grapes. Yum.
  6. bella--everyday is different for me. I try to eat until I feel full but not stuffed. Sometimes a few bites will do it. Other days I think I can eat a horse. b-lc slim fast s-greek yogurt vanilla l-spicy tai tuna 3/4 c d-1/2 tuna sandwich s-ww ice cream

Probably a good thing since if I could have would have eaten everything in sight. no gym, went to bed at 6:00 decided day just needed to end
  9. i drink the regular premade or powder ones myself - really never looked till this AM the fat & sugar content.....11g/5g respectfully. this is the only brand that tastes good to me. yesterday - b - greek yogurt w/blueberries & granola l - spinach casserole - 1 square s- mini ice cream sandwich d- bowl of shiritaki noodles w/meat sauce

    I finally did 3 meals a day! Whoo-hoo! (Only I'm about 400 calories under...I may have a snack later) B- 3 morningstar farms chik nuggets (yes, a bit weird) L- chicken soup and half an avocado D- 95% lean ground beef patty, 1 slice of "yogurt" cheese- lactose free, mustard and ketchup

    Yesterday - B - 3 pcs beef jerky, 1 ounce cashews and 100 cal yogurt S - 1/2 grapefruit and 4 pcs beef jerkey L - 1 can Healthy Select chicken and sausage gumbo (YUM) S - 1 cup hot SF hot cocoa (made w/ water) w/ splash of coffee and 1 french vanilla mini creamer (sooooo good) D - about 8 gnocchi w/ vodka tomato sauce and 1 TB parm cheese S - REG yogurt (full sugar) :cursing: and a handful of chips

  16. i was at the grocery store and saw the hummus think i want to try it whats a good one and what do you eat it with. well i had to go back and get half a unfill i feel much better and hungry some but, i have to work on the self disipline part alot more. gonna just take it one day at a time. 4oz s/f,f/f pudding w/mashed kiwi 4oz vanilla yogurt med. coffee w/milk, splenda 4oz mashed chix salad 16oz lemon water

    Yesterday coffee B- 1 sausage patty and 4 oz benefiber yogurt S-1/2 banana, 1/2 apple and 5 grapes L-Healthy Choice dinner S-3 oz salmon/as many goldfish I could eat, then guilt sat in:frown: D-1/2 c chili w/6 wheat crackers and 5 pork skins I need to understand when I eat my recommended portions, I need to walk away, but NOOOOO, I want to FEEL stuffed. Sorry, just thinking out loud.

    Welcome Darla!! :welcomeB: Looks like you're gonna be the first one of us to get banded!! I'll be right behind you!! You're so lucky to have your daughter to go through this with. Bandedme - The liquid diet is for those that are required to do so by their insurance companies to see if they can lose weight withOUT surgery and also to make the surgery safer. Also, some doctors require a few days of liquid diet to help them stick to a low-carb, low-fat diet prior to surgery so that the liver will be less "fatty". If your doctor doesn't require that (mine doesn't either) then just be grateful!! As for post-op, all the stories are different. I was shocked to find that my doc only requires a 'liquid' diet, not a 'clear liquid' diet....and I can even have cottage cheese, yogurt, and applesauce in the 1st 48 hours. After that I go straight to 'mushies'. When you start shopping again for your family, $20 says that you'll start buying much healthier food for everyone...and you'll be eating the same things, just less of them. Or they get pasta or rice as a side dish and you'll just skip those things. I know my husband is looking forward to the weight he'll be losing along with me after my procedure...when I eat healthier, so does everyone! And YES, running around after 3 kids DEFINITELY counts as exercise!!!!
  21. Mm, food. Snack: Quest Protein Bar nuked for 1 min. Tastes like a warm almond cookie. Breakfast: 1/2 cup oat bran, 1/2 cup grapes, 2 eggs, 4 pieces turkey bacon Snack: High protein/low carb bagel with Philadelphia CC mini Lunch: salad with broccoli, lettuce, chicken, cheese, and light ranch dressing Snack: Protein 'pudding' made with Lemon creme pie casein, cool whip, and greek yogurt w/ cinnamon toast cereal Dinner: Tilapia with brown rice, black Beans, and mixed vegetables.
  22. Hope your nausea is better Tracy. This is going to sound really wierd, but was your stomach rolling, or was the gagging more from the throat? I once ate something that I thought must have been bad, because I got sick at my stomach from it, and it only eased if I slowly sipped or snacked. In the end, I think I was actually over full, and it was from the esophagus area, and I was feeling the nausea from that. When I caught the stomach virus from Kinsey the feeling was totally different, it was low in the stomach itself, and I was on the verge of vomiting before I even knew what hit me! Hope you feel much better!!! I too like Househuntress really try to get my meals is with mostly protein, followed with veggies, and only a few nibbles of the carbs, mostly for flavor enhancement! Breakfast has almost always hit me that way! I often will snack for breakfast on a leftover piece of sausage or something of that nature. My DH loves sausage, he likes it hot with breakfast, and cold for snacking, so I keep some cooked up, and it is one of the stand bys I use for breakfast or a quick snack. I don't overdo it, because I know there are tons of nitrates, and it is not the best for me! But my cholesterol is down again! Each time I donate blood now they do a cholesterol test, and I can check it online. My Dr. is going to be so happy!!! I had popped over 200 pre banding...now it is down 70 points with no drugs! My usual for breakfast is yogurt---with some granola stirred in. My days have been kinda crazy with all the work we have been doing we have been eating out a lot!!! Yesterday lets see.... BREAKFAST--yogurt--black cherry with granola I ate about 2/3 of the container with about 1/4 cup if that much granola---DH finished it for me! SNACK--a couple of bites of a nectarine while we loaded wood, it didn't feel like it wanted to go down, so I didn't push it. LUNCH--2 taquitas with salsa SNACK--handful of roasted smoked almonds. I know the sodium is out of this world---but they were good!!!! SUPPER--we went to Chilis---I had the childrens chicken crispers and loaded mashed potatoes. I ate 1 1/2 strips of chicken with ranch dressing, and about 3 bites of the potatoes. I heated the leftovers for lunch today and Kinsey and I shared them! For breakfast this morning I had a scrambled egg with green chile, and cheese. The leftovers for lunch, I snacked on half a banana, and some cubed cheddar cheese. I have a couple of rib eyes we are grilling tonight. I will cook some new potatoes, and will likely have some mushrooms to go over the steaks. I can usually avoid the potatoes, but these little new ones from my inlaws garden, may be hard to say no to!!! I also drink tons---lots of tea. I brew my own using decaffeinated tea bags, and sweeten it with sweet & low. I know it isn't the best for me either---but since it is my biggest vice at this point, I am not ready to change!!! When I don't drink enough, I don't lose a thing! I need to weigh---I have not done so in several days---will check it in the morning. I have sore muscles, in my case, that usually means, I will be up a pound or 2, from fluid retention in the muscles, and believe me I have used muscles lately I never knew I had!!! I know I told Rick next vacation we leave town!!! It sounds weird because it was tons of work, but I really enjoy working with him that way, it keeps us close. Well my laundry needs changed out, I have enough dirty clothes to cloth a small nation. But I had a NSV this morning sorting clothes, I picked up a shirt and wondered when my DD left it there, and as I turned it right side out, I realized it was my shirt---I just wore it 2 days ago! It looked so small, I never thought for a second it was mine!!! woohooo it is! And I just wore it so I know it fits me!!! LOVE it!!! TTYL Kat I usually do better, but this week is not a good example!!!
