Well, it may not seem that big of a deal but yesterday was the last day that I had to take Ursodiol (used to prevent gall stones). I am so happy that there is now one less pill (tablet) that I have to take everyday.

Today is my 37th b-day and I am in the best shape of my life (very literal statement)! Down 170 lb from my last b-day and @ 17% body fat. DOS: 07/02/2012 SW (5/8/2012): 360 DOSW (7/2/21012): 335 GW (2/27/2013): 180 CW (5/8/2013): 190 Time to live life to the fullest!!!

I had two great nsvs today. First I went and bought my season pass for Elitch Gardens in Denver. I no longer have to worry if I can fit on the roller coaster. Second was feeling so good I decided to check out the gay bars on Capital Hill trying to find some old friends as the one I use to frequent back in the day is now a 7-11. Well didn't find anyone I knew but I am sure this cute young lesbian was checking me out. That is a first for me.

So, I will admit it. I am a southern hick and I love it. I'm heading to Nashville in about 2 hours. We are going to the Jack Daniels Distillery tomorrow and then end the evening with Darius Rucker and Brad Paisley in concert. Sunday is marked to hit my old stomping grounds (I went to college there in the late 80's) and then a quick stop by the Bookstore on Monday to buy a new sweatshirt (since mine are WAY too big now)! I am so excited I can hardly stand it!!! But ... for the VSG part of this post ... I have to say that packing last night was so much fun. Temps are supposed to be in the mid-60's so I was able to pack some lighterweight clothes and 1 or 2 warmer items for the evenings. Packing small clothes takes up so little space - I used a smaller bag than I used to pack for weekend trips. I love it!!!!!! I'm counting that as my NSV for the month!

@@SleevaDiva great question above by @@2goldengirl i would also love to hear your story in depth as much as you want to share you have a lot to say do you mind if i ask you if plastics will be done in the near future?? can't imagine the health benefits you've gone through all the NSV's you've experienced is it hard mentally to see your new self in a long mirror?? if your story turns out to be a short novel that's ok - i'll drink water to your health while i read i haven't read a good story in a long time you are amazing i can't even imagine how you feel this and similar success stories from other people should be listed for newbies, people deciding still to have WLS but all the rest of "us" love a good success story too Happy Surgiversary kathy congrats -
So today i took the kids school shopping. We were in old navy, when they were done I decided to venture over to the ladies section to check sizes out, to see If I would fit anything. I've NEVER been able to buy from the store, only online. I tried on a top in the biggest size I saw, XXL. It was too big! I bought an XL top, and a pencil skirt to go with it. I'm still elated over this experience!!

Yesterday I bumped into a friend who I haven't seen since before surgery when I was at my heaviest. WWhen she saw me she looked at me in disbelief and said "Where's the rest of you??!!" She said i look fantastic and I could tell that she was genuinely happy with me!!

I went shopping last night for the first time since losing 30 pounds. For the first time in 10 years I could buy what I liked, and not just what fit. For the last 10 years I have been buying clothes if they fit (which was hardly ever), not if I like them....because if they fit, I LIKED THEM!!! I am also out of big girl clothes - officially can shop in the regular women's department - which as you may know increases the possibilities immensly. I am so glad I did this for myself...I just can't say enough about how great I feel. :confused1: -

HE HE HE, hubby and I have never been "dull" in the bedroom..but with my weight loss and energy spike there have been some exciting new angles we are able to reach, LOL!!! He is definitely enjoying the new and improved me...I can't complain either..13 yrs later and we are still 2 kids getting to know one another HE HE HE :thumbup: I guess that would be my NSV!!! -
If i was getting undressed and asked my wife that she probably would of rolled her eyes and said ' not tonight honey i have to get up early' just kidding, actualy shes a wild woman! Good job on the NSV!!!:clap2:

Continue to rock that sleeve lady!!! @ Jane - that's so funny you mention a booty that you can rest a plate on. I was talking to a lady this weekend that mentioned a butt and called it a "shelf". OMG -- I didn't know whether to laugh or cry!! LOL!! Now, she's the nicest lady so I know she meant no harm, in fact she said it that way to avoid just saying "fat butt"... haaa!!! -
So I’ve been avoiding buying new clothes for as long as possible but today I have to go to the mall because I have decided I need new jeans. Last night at Orlando City’s home opener against DC United (MLS Soccer) we scored the equalizer in the last few minutes of the game and the supporter section went crazy. I went crazy. I high fived. I screamed. I jumped. And when I jumped... my pants fell off. [emoji23] A little “behind” show for the folks behind me! Luckily I was wearing cute undies and they were going as crazy as I was. Anyway, NSV, New Pants, Yay! [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] Now to find the healthy stadium food options...

This week, I have been complimented like crazy about how I have lost weight!! All of a sudden, BAM!! Everyone is saying something to me. It feels pretty good. However, I was not prepared for the compliments,. People are asking me what I am doing, and it never occurred to me to have an answer. I guess it is a like a dream come true that you are not ready for. I just tell people I cut carbs and eat very differently. But if feels good and is great incentive for me!!

I still don't know what I will look like at goal weight, but I am pretty sure I'll have a bangin' ass in a few months, LOL! How funny is that... I love it... can't wait to see some booty photos Suzanne! This sort of NSV really keep me going... I LOVE IT!!

Hey welcome. If your shoes are untied, one of the nsv will be that you are able to do it yourself. nsv means non scale victory. When I got the surgery my hubby was so supportive. He also lost 30 lbs.along with me..So will your wife...best of luck. -

Hi August 2005 bandsters!! I was just thinking about starting a thread for us when I happened upon this one..... I love my band.....my life has changed in so many wonderful ways I can barely keep track of my NSVs. I plan on changing my pic and showing my before and "still working on it 'after'" pics on my band anniversary...August 17!!! Keep up the great work August 2005 Bandsters!!!!
