Well we are a week out! How are things going??

i'm starting the process went to my first seminar two weeks ago and this friday i go for my first doctors visit.

I have about three more months to go before my paperwork can be submitted....

I think it is normal for us to all hit a stall momment! I have hit mine today....and I am frustrated too! However, I haven't gone to the gym since Thanksgiving.....so i guess i am partly to blame....on the other hand....i havent' gained any either. sooooooo.....still frustrated. I think i need a second fill and have an appointment on the 14th to get one. we will see. take care and talk to you soon. Leslie

Hey!! everythings going well...going for another fill next week soo ill be weighed again then but I'm pretty confident that i'm doing what i need to. Seems like ur doing well too! congrats! hows everything?

Your surgery is a day after mine! Hows your week on liquids going? I didn't have to do the all liquid diet, but it was a mostly liquid diet and for 2 weeks. I've been so anxious for months for this and now I'm a tad nervous. I suppose thats normal though. I hope everything goes well for you!!!!!!

surgery went well! im alot better now than I was last week im such a baby when it comes to pain! i weighed myself sunday and lost 7 pounds since monday. soo i quessing thats good how's things going your way??

I was bnanded on Oct 27. I have lost 10 lb the 1st week. The following weeks I have gained 8 lb back. I don't feel any restriction and hungry all the time. My 1st fill is on Jan 4th. I am very frustrated and especially when most of the posts indicate that there is 10-30 lb weight lost in the 1st 4-6 weeks.

We are both great. Janice fractured her foot walking and is in a cast for 2 weeks. Saturday we went to a WLS support group that meets the 3rd Saturday of the month in Alvin. it was the first time we went. They meet at a resturant and eat lunch at 1:30 pm. When we went there were 5 people and Janice and I. The people are really nice. We are going to their Christmas get together on Saturday, December 12 at 1;30 pm in Alvin at one of the ladies home. We would love for you to come with us. We have not set up a date for our little get together. We can make a date after Thanksgiving. Would love for us to meet again and there is one more person who wants to come. The group in Alvin if part of the Texas Bandsters. If you want to come, see if you can work it out. We could meet with Janice and all 3 go together. Last time I picked her up at her house and we rode together. Or we can meet and you can follow us if you want a car to be able to leave when you are ready. Have a happy thanksgiving!!

thats understandable.... Ive not done much the past few weeks just not feeling good and yesterday i ended up with a bad UTI. just found out like a day ago that we will not be here for thanksgiving. So I'm just going to be here cleaning up the house before we go hate coming home to a mess of a house... anyway better let you go sounds like Logan is hungry

oh yeah it is going to be challanging this week.. I will be at my Sister's in Texas. She will be good at tyring to help me, she flew in for my surgery for three days.. It was so nice having her and my Mom there with me.. Thats great! Im glad your feeling full. I am getting another fill in 3 weeks. I hope I can make it and actually manage to drop some weight in between time! Anyway..peanuts are the devil! Be careful not to eat too much peanut butter, high in fat, carbs, calories. Although it is a "healthy" food, Its not to good for the "lap band" way of life...

HI! Glad to hear from you! I have been close to stalled for the last two months. I went to the dr and was surprised that I was down 8lbs. But than I got an even bigger surprise....get ready......I'm six weeks pregnant! I am soo shocked. I was just banded in November and got pregnant in December. I have no Idea what my lap band surgeon is going to think about this. I should call him today. But, we are happy. Scared because I am still so heavy, have diabetes and high blood pressure but, happy. My sugars and bp have been good and I'm on medications that are safe to take while pregnant thank goodness. I have never prayed more than I have in the last week Going to have to work really hard at food choices now. I should have known something was up when all I want to eat is malt o meal. Ha! I wonder if they will want to empty my band, I hope not. I am able to eat about two cups at a time. sigh..this is very big news in my life. I want to loose about 100 too. Thanks for staying in touch.

I have BCBS (MN). It took about 2 weeks, maybe a little less, from when my Dr submited it till i got approval.

Good Friday Morning! TGIF! I found the dress, may go back next week and buy it! I will post pics too! I sorta hit a Plateau, eating right, just not going down much, but I think I have done ok, so I just hold on right now and wait, gonna add some exercise in the weekend now that the rain has stopped here. We have roads that are flooded over! It is depressing when you get that much rain and I can't go anywhere do anything, I want to sit, watch TV and eat! So got to get moving to get those lbs to go away! Sunshine is out today. Love your Blogs, keep them coming and I am going to check out your new page too.

The office just put in for my auth this week

hello all i am new to the group. I just had lap band surgery a little over 3 1/2 weeks ago. I feel great. I lost 21 pounds so far. I am glad that i made the decision to go with the surgery.

One week out. I can do it. although at times I feel I may starve to death.

Going back to work tomorrow on my 1 week bandiversary... Ahhhh!

4 weeks post op... totally stalling on my weight loss, haven't been on the scale in 3 weeks... So discouraged, first fill is in two weeks...

5 more weeks! Feels like years!
