  1. I am 1 week from Surgery today!! Oh My Goodness... So Close!

  2. Today is the first day of my pre op diet. I can't believe that this time next week I'll be asleep on the OR table getting my new sleeve. It's going really well so far...for 12 hours in. LOL

  3. Feeling positive today. The scale hasn't moved in a few weeks but I know what I need to do. I am upping my protein and seeing how that affects it. Going out tonight and actually looking forward to socializing. It's a whole new me.

  5. Whay am I stalling so early in this process. Only 3 weeks out, and i keep bouncing between the same 3 pounds. UGhhh! HELP

  6. Still waiting...it's hard to get in contact with an actual person...but I think they see me on the caller ID and hide! I have contacted by phone and email about 5 times this week. I wish someone would tell me SOMETHING.

  7. Life in onederland has been wonderful! Been stalled at 171 for two and a half months now though....come on body, we can do this..just another 16 pounds!

  8. Hey Sister Sleeve! How are things going with you? I had two periods of no weight loss and wow - it was tough getting past those points. I'm down 49.8 and feeling so much better but there are a few little changes in the past month. I get hungry - really after 3 hours and no food. And - my stomach growls - which didn't happen at all the first two months. Oh well - I never think about my weight like I used to - I know it will come off and just keep doing what I'm doing.   9. I have lost focus the past couple of weeks. I have been eating too many carbs and not focusing on my exercise. I need to get my butt back in shape to be able to make my goal that I have set for myself. This is my time and I will take the opportunity....so today is clear liquids

  11. Sleeved for a week! Everything is very different. Still can't believe I didn't eat any Thanksgiving turkey. Proud of myself!

  12. The bruising on my hips and thighs are showing up now, pretty dark. The pain is nowhere near as bad as the inner thighs and knees, but at least I know I'm all downhill from here. Post op instructions said results will be from 3 to 6 months total post op. I'm thinking I'll be in more the 6th month range. Oh well!!!

  13. I feel like I've been eating non stop for 3 days. What the heck?

  14. I have SERIOUSLY committed to exercise. I have been on my eliptical in the mornings, and am taking 6 days a week. I want to get to GOAL.

  15. Today is 5 weeks post op.. i JUST COMPLETED MY FIRST 5K..AND DID IT UNDER 45 MIN!!!!!!!!!!!

  19. Struggling with food and focus this week.. trying to really stick to just 3 meals.. sometime snacking for me turns into grazing.. and i struggle bad..

  20. Feeling pretty down today with the continued stall and the cellulitis on my face flaring up. Just wanting to feel back to normal.

  21. is heading to bed..I watched episodes 1-3 of TVD Season 3 and I am loving this season! I plan on watching more tomorrow night after work and maybe one before :)

  22. How long does the 3rd week stall last? I am midway through my 4th week post-op and still stalled. Is this normal?

  23. Since my surgery date is getting closer and my preop diet is looming ahead, I find myself having lil food funerals. Whenever I eat something oh so yummy, I know that it's going to be the last time I taste that in a very long, long time. Possibly forever because some ppl come out of this surgery with certain food aversions that they didn't have before. I hope I come out hating sugar and bread because those are my biggest weaknesses. This week is my last week to eat all the stuff I usually do....

  24. I need a spa day too much stress this week... But I'll settle for a pedi ;) soon soon!

  25. is going grocery shopping at Walmart after dinner to get some healthy snacks for work this week and the ingredients to make snicker peanut butter cookies that will be going to work tomorrow night :)
