    Failing This Pre-Op Thing.

    I totally understand what you are going through. I went through the 6 months pre op diet also and I struggle with losing weight as well. My first 2 months I did not lose or gain then the third month I lost 10 pounds and the fourth month I gained 10 pounds. Finally the fifth and sixth month I didn't lose anything, part of it was totally stress so much stress with my job, with trying to lose weight, with making time to workout and with disappointing my nutritionist. I stressed myself to the max and couldn't seem to stick to the plan. My last month I was so depressed because I felt like I failed and the insurance company wouldn't approve me. So I talk to my nutritionist and told her how I felt. That day she truly encouraged me, she said that she knew I was trying and that's the reason I need the surgery because it's very hard for you to do it on your own. She also said that it's very rare that she seen an insurance company deny a claim because of weight gain. Just to give you a little background, 2 years ago I was extremely successful with weight loss eating right and exercising 3 to 4 times a week ( which I loss 55 pounds). However, I struggled with depression, that lead me to eat eat and eat some more.(gained all that weight back plus more) Through counseling now I feel like I have a hold on that emotional eating and constantly putting myself down. So don't be down on yourself for your success will come and your insurance will approve you. No worries!
  2. Hi everyone I am feeling sad , I stalled in week 3 and now I gained 2lbs and don't know why ? I am doing everything that my surgeon and diteian has told me . Has any one else had this problem in such a early stage , I have under active thyroid problem could this be the reason
  3. Hi, I had my gastric sleeve done in August of 2010 and i weighed my heaviest at 324 on June 28 of 2010. I had a complication in my surgery that left an open wound for a month...I also started having severe stomach spasms in November of 2010 that kept escalating to where by May of 2011 I had every X-ray and test known to man and surgeon did exploratory surgery..said he found nothing but after surgery I never saw him or his NP to tell me what might have been causing it except scar tissue. Okay but despite that I managed by May of 2011 to get to my lowest wt of 216..slowly through summer after drama of surgeon vs me & not hearing from him at all after exploratory surgery to see how i was...I decided not to go back to my surgeon bc something wasn't right ...I was very happy and feeling good about myself but i gained a few pounds got up to 222...In September 2011 I was fired from my job which was a major upset b/c i was so shocked..and I was completely heartbroken. Started seeing a therapist in August before b/c of work but after fired could not afford and didn't feel like he was listening to other things I was trying to speak about..Fell into worst depression for 3 months bc could not find a job...I did have one thing keeping me up my NO Saints bc i had season tickets bought before i lost job. But gradually we get up to 229....Did not get a job until February of 2012..And got thrown into a shark tank where i didn't get lunch break and was eating junk and not sleeping right (that had been happening since September..staying up all night sleeping all day to get through pain)...wt gradually creeping up to 240...lost 10 lbs to 230 now back up to 240... I am devastated not only have i had failure in my job area but i failed at having my surgery..I paid lg sum of money and a year ago i was very happy...needless to say this is my fault i have not exercised and the stress and depression has taken over. I am so embarrassed to see some friends b/c they are very critical (only b/c they want me to be successful with wt loss) and I just feel like a big loser. I am trying to get back on track. Then a week ago I had to put my cat of 15 yrs to sleep...I had first severe attack that lasted 2 hrs since February of 2011 (had gallbladder out before sleeve so not that)in which i became so weak and nauseated from pain I almost called ambulance ...then another one last night. Its almost as if my stomach knew that i had insurance so i can continue investigation on why this is occurring b/c I have met so many wt loss its that NEVER had this and they drink carbonated beverages on daily basis ( I may have 16 oz a week if i have any) and its not food instigated..Its like someone is trying to rip something out of me. Has anyone else had wt gain? Did you feel embarrassed and like you failed once again...am I alone in this ..I am trying I have gone back to eating my Protein bars and making my drinks..Trying to be more consciousness (sp?) of all i eat..About to start walking in the morning bc i have to exercise for stress and to get metabolism going. Going to my medical dr Monday and embarrassed b/c i have gained 20 lbs. But I will not go over 240 I will NOT go back..I have to get myself together refocus on ME...i lost that at some point. I have had so much negativity that now instead of feeling good for looking a lot better that i did at 324..i only see that severely obese person. I plan on also going to counseling..which i should have done a year ago when i was having issues with my surgeon and stomach pain..b/c it was a horrible experience.. Anyway, not whining or blaming anything but myself and bad circumstances but you always read about all the success stories ....is anyone out there having any issues like myself or have any words of support..I really need someone who has been through wt loss surgery who understands b/c people who haven't don't although they mean well..     Not Allowed To Gain Weight

    Lyrica, though a wonderful drug for nerve pain, does have the unfortunate side effect of increasing your appetite. My mother’s GP told her straight out she’d never lose weight while she was on Lyrica & her antidepressant & all she could do was work at maintaining the weight she was at. Might be worth a conversation with the insurance company to allow some leeway because of being prescribed Lyrica. Can’t hurt (& get it in writing if they say okay). I wonder if the strict requirements around no weight gain before surgery is more about your commitment to the surgery & wanting to lose weight. Same with any requirement for losing weight (except for the immediate pre surgical diet.) Thankfully our insurance companies in Australia aren’t so strict … yet. No approval requirements from them. Though they are certainly getting more restrictive.
  5. Any feedback will be appreciated. In March I was diagnoised with severe acid reflux and had all my fill taken out. In May I had breast reduction surgery and am loving that. But since March, I have put back on 25 pounds. I am ashamed of myself and am kicking my butt over it. I am working on getting back to that food diet and consumption of food. My biggest concern is going back to get fillled again. I know I've done wrong, but I need to get back on the horse, so to speak. Any of you out there ever backtracked like this? Thanks....
  6. So I was banded on 5/23/08 and in November of that same year I found my sweet spot after three or four fills. Since being banded I have lost 135lbs but have still not made it to my goal weight (at my lowest weight I was about 20lbs shy). Recently I have been able to eat a lot and even wake up hungry in the morning which I havent felt since before surgery. I even have gained about 15lbs in the last two months. I have had acid reflux and heartburn since banding and my doc did find a very slight slip in my band at my last visit but nothing enough to remove fill for or need to worry about at that moment. My question is- does my sudden change and weight gain mean my band has really slipped or is it possible to need a fill even after I was at my sweet spot for so long? I know the obvoius answer is to have testing to see the placement of my band but since surgery my ins has changed and it currently does not cover any band related expense. So I would have to self pay and money has been tight lately. I am so scared that some sort of revision will be needed and I literally will not be able to have it done because of cost....

    So THIS is restriction...

    OK, someone please tell me what a "positive burp" (aka PB) is! A burp itself is positive, as you are getting rid of gas(es) in your stomach, which might otherwise give you a tummy ache. Or is this another thing that can't be explained until I experience it myself? So far I have experienced only diarriea (sp?) and since that was a normal condition for me before I had the lapband, I am assuming it is never going away. Which has always amazed me. How can someone have diarriea after every time they eat and not lose weight? Ahhh, the unexplained mysteries of weight gain and loss. Thanks :)Laura

    Considering removal need advice/help!

    Hello Becky, I applaud the lifestyle changes you are making. Eighty pounds off is a huge achievement! I'm very proud of you without even knowing you. Living with extra weight is a daily struggle and it doesn't get easier as you age. As for band removal, I'm in a similar position. I had the lapband surgery in June 2012 and never lost weight. I've been trying to get a removal date for the past year, but my clinic keeps putting me off -- first to have some tests -- now because the surgeon is too busy to see me. They say the band is fine but I experience vomiting, heart palpations, sweating and reflux on a regular basis when I eat (I take small bites and eat very slowly). I never experienced the "sweet spot" that successful banders reach. Like you, I feel the band is doing nothing, but I am not confused. I know the band has to come out. For one thing they degrade over time and can cause injury to the stomach area under the band. You may experience a small weight gain initially as you get used to life without a band, but if you keep your focus and stick to your healthly lifestyle, I think you will be successful without the band.   9. Trying to compare like that is very hard. I am sure there are an equal amount of side effects and benefits to both. This is why you have a surgeon to discuss it with that should be able to advise the best option for you. For the record most of the extra risk with the bypass is at the time of the op, it is a more complicated surgery than the sleeve so requires a more skilled, experienced surgeon. I had a revision from band to bypass in Jan and am very happy. I didn’t want a sleeve as i know so many people that have one and the majority seem to have either not had good loss or have major weight gain, I know this is also possible with bypass but I don’t know many people that have one. My surgeon also told me that with my history of reflux he wouldn’t consider sleeving me. At the end of the day the most important thing is the commitment of the patient. Realise the surgery is only a tool and that success requires hard work.
  10. The last time I went in for a fill I wasn't quite sure I needed one but thought it had to be time for one since it had been almost 2 months since my last fill. I was losing steadily and eating 1 1/2 - 2 cups of foods. I discussed with the nurse and she told me I would regret it if I got a fill. I am so glad that I listened to her. If you get too tight you will have a harder time eating healthy foods and may resort to slider foods or junk which could lead to weight gain. The band is not designed to keep you from eating but to help you feel satisfied with smaller amounts of food. I have never PB'd and I feel satisfied when I eat. Not just because of the quantity but because of the variety of food I can eat. Some people can live on 2 - 3 different foods but I can't. I am listening to my body and I do need a fill now. I am playing the yo-yo game with the scale and I can now eat way more than before. Listen to your body and don't get a fill just because you have a band and think that is what you are supposed to do. If you are really hungry between meals and are struggling then yes need a fill. The nurse said I shouldn't get a fill unless I am really hungry and struggling or I start gaining because I am eating too much. Good luck!

    5 Months Out, 45Lbs Down

    Are you still trying to lose weight or are you at goal? I saw a side shot picture of you a couple days ago... you were wearing a red shirt. You look very thin but a fit type of thin, not skinny thin lol. You have your own goals on what you want to look like but with my goals of getting big and bulky muscle, now would be the time I would be playing with my diet. I would be adding a few more carbs to my diets pre and post workouts and see how my weight responds. Your at the point now were you should know if your weight gain is muscle or fat. If you gain a pound or two over time and doing everything right diet and exercise wise, the majority of the weight could be muscle. The more you challenge your physical daily activity the higher your BMR will clime. I am not sure how eating at a caloric deficit for a long period of time effects this though... I believe it has a negative effect on your BMR though. Again, I am not sure and its a good questions to find a definite answer for. If you do find out please let me know. I know that when I get to your weight I am going to eat at a caloric surplus to try gain muscle mass. During this 8-12 week bulk I am going to play around with my diet and try to eat about 500cal above my BMR everyday. I also plan to eat around 150carbs daily. My end goal during this bulk is to gain mass, play with my cal/pro/carbs and see how my body react and get my diet to a place that is somewhat normal. I would love to be eating 2500cal, 180g Protein and 150g carbs daily... eating that and exercising at that rate will raise my BMR to a normal level over time.

    I've lost 75 pounds in a little under 4 months--I have some minor excess skin on my neck and under my arms so far. I had a LOT of excess weight around my chin, neck, and shoulders (I feel like I have a neck for the first time in years!). It's already starting to tighten up as my initial dramatic weight loss has started to slow and my skin can catch up. I want to lose 40 more so it'll be interesting to see what happens over the next year or so. I'm 39 and my weight gain was very gradual over a period of about 20 years, so I hadn't been at my "high weight" for very long, maybe 3-5 years, for background.

    Emotion v Eating

    Hi folks, Emotional eating is sabotaging my efforts to work with my band. It's got so bad that I made an urgent call to my Dr to get an unfil because I've inflamed the restricted part of my stomach. And in the two weeks of unfil I've put on 14lbs!! Whilst the weight gain is getting me down, I'm more worried about the emotional eating. If I can't get a grip, the operation will have been for nothing - and I could do some serious damage to my body. I've been keeping a journal and I'd say that 95% of my eating is driven by non-hunger. Seriously, it's that bad. books on the subject suggest developing self-nuturing strategies to fill the void instead of using food. Thing is, I can't think of any that are appropriate or offer immediate relief. It's a little difficult to take a relaxing bath when you are at work, or mediate when family are demanding things. Any ideas or strategies I could use to control or lessen my emotional eating drives?

    Regained weight support

    Maybe just pick one or two things to focus on each week to get going in the right direction? I know when I try to change everything all at once I get really discouraged. A place to start could be focusing on water intake. Remember right after surgery when we were told to sip sip sip water all day? It helps keep hunger at bay, and cuts out the extra calories we take in when drinking things other than water. I swear there is some truth to artificial sweeteners causing weight gain! I switched from my diet pop addiction to Crystal light, but realized for some reason constantly drinking something that tasted sweet, even though calorie free, was having negative effects on my progress. Then maybe the following week you could focus on getting protein at each meal and eating it first. Other ideas for weekly changes could be to journal food intake, packing a healthy lunch (even when working from home, it helps to have it in the fridge and waiting), and/or taking a quick 15 minute walk 3-4 times a week. The main thing is just focusing on one new thing at a time! Good luck to you.. You got this!!

  16. Linda, Hello... I was browsing around and was so glad to see this post. I am not sure if I mentioned this before (when we have talked) I am a diabetic on insulin. In November 2012, I had been rushed to the hospital for DKA and was in diabetic shock... I was literally out of it for 3 days *which i am still unable to recall*. Doctors told my husband at that time that my sugars were so high they were literally off the charts and I was lucky to be alive. When the #s finally started to register it was 815. Long story short, I truly thank God I am here. Anyway, the reason I told that is to lead to the following. With that episode happening, my previous endocrinologist thought perhaps I was type 1 diabetic, (instead of type 2,as previously diagnosed in 2003) they ran the specific tests and I was told that I was not type 1, but definitely type 2. Time went on and I am no longer seeing that doctor and now have a new endocrinologist.... and well seeing my history on record and blood sugar issues, he also wanted to test me to see if I was type 1. Longer story short, at my last visit I was told that the blood tests confirm that I am type 2 but I also have traits of type 1 diabetes... which makes my case of diabetes different.... He further told me to inform Dr. Uchal that more than likely i have impairment going on with my pancreas (which of course is nothing new as diabetes effects the pancreas) but he then told me that with my upcoming bariatric surgery, not to expect to be off of my insulin completely... (which didn't shock me, as I know how the slightest intake can make my sugar go up). I say that full, long story for this reason... in finding out the recent info, I started to worry about the "what if's" again... thinking what if this surgery will not work because I am remaining on insulin (as insulin can cause weight gain). It truly started to upset me so much to where it prompted me to search for info on this site... (that is how I found the above post and your reply) May I ask, "has the insulin hindered any of your husband's progress/weight loss?" I am trying not to worry but I want to be prepared. I told my husband my fear would be that I do the surgery and that the insulin sabotaging my results, especially since I have a lot of weight to lose.... (my apologies for the lengthy story...lol... but any reply would be helpful..) Sincerely, Angi
  17. Hi there. I was banded May 2008 and initially lost 85 lbs. I am 5'-4" and started out at 228. I got down to 143 and hoped to get to 135. I am 62 years old. I was doing well and then I was T-boned in an auto accident when a young man ran a red light. I sustained some back injuries. Then 5 months later a woman on a freeway on ramp rearended me when the car in front of me came to a dead stop. I sustained another spinal injury. Needless to say I have been dealing with lots of pain and mobility issues and many spinal treatments. I have slowly gained back 15 lbs due to decreased activity and exercise and then not following my "lean and green" program. Anyway, I am making a new start today with baby steps. I will start a light walking program and adding a protein shake meal a day. I haven't been on this site for three years and thought this would be a good place to look for support. I haven't been back to see my surgeon in a year because I am embarrassed over my weight gain. I feel like my port is okay but I should check in just to be sure. Any positive words of advise will be greatly appreciated. I don't want to hear any negative posts. I want to hear from others who have overcome challenges and helpful encouraging stories. It is really not all about the weight loss but how we feel about ourselves and how to improve our health and wellbeing. I know that I felt so much better when I was in my 140's. I want to get back to that weight. I look forward to hearing from you. Maybe we can help each other on our journey to health and happiness. P.S.     Anxiously Awaiting Approval

    Thanks everyone for the encouragement and support. To answer the question "Why were you denied?": AETNA states the reason was because I had not followed a 6 month doctor supervised diet. They wouldn't accept that I've been on a strict diebetic diet with Dr. documented weight data every three months for the past 5 years and that I am at the end of my rope with the diabetes. I'm alergic to the non-weight gaining diabetic medications and I'm maxed out on the dosage as well. I've been working with one of the best bariatric surgery centers in Orange Co. California and supposedly the wording has been the best that it can be. When I called Aetna I was told that even if I were on my death bed I'd be required to complete the 6 month diet. But it's also my understanding that the requirement is dependent on the policy itself. So, some of us with AETNA will get this road block where as others will not.

    Rant/Vent: Failure

    With regard to the depression aspect, definitely talk to your doctor about it if you haven't already started the process for treatment. As for the weight gain, since today is Friday, why don't you use the weekend to stock up on healthy foods, and make a promise to your self that on Monday you take back your life. You did it before, and you can do it again! HUGS!!!!!
  20. FOR ANYONE IN THE FUTURE THAT MIGHT STUMBLE UPON THIS AND WANT TO KNOW... I will also update after my WLS. Can Weight Loss Surgery Help Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome? Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) is the most common endocrine system disorder in women. About 10% of all women of reproductive age have signs of PCOS, which is a hormone imbalance that can cause weight gain, acne, extra hair, irregular periods, and other problems. Perhaps the most significant problems experienced by women who suffer from PCOS are hyperandrogenism (the presence of excess of male sex hormones), and anovulation, which causes a woman to stop ovulating, rendering her infertile. Many women who suffer from PCOS are also obese. Recent studies have indicated that women who are significantly overweight may achieve improvement with PCOS through the significant weight loss that bariatric surgery can bring. Below we discuss the role of weight loss surgery as a potential tool to assist patients with PCOS. The Connection Between PCOS and Excess Weight Almost 60% of women with PCOS are obese. Many women with PCOS are also insulin resistant and/or have a reduced glucose tolerance. When someone is insulin resistant, their body does not use its insulin effectively to store glucose in the body as fuel. Too much glucose is the system slows the breakdown of fat in the body and creates new fat cells. This is why someone who is insulin resistant tends to gain weight. The problem worsens when the insulant resistant person’s body makes more insulin, trying to compensate for the inefficiency. This increase in supply only makes the body more insulin resistant. It is estimated that over half of women with PCOS are resistant to insulin and eventually will develop metabolic syndrome, a cluster of serious metabolic conditions (high blood sugar, high HDL cholesterol, high triglyceride levels, abdominal obesity, and high blood pressure) that increase risk for coronary artery disease, stroke, diabetes, and heart disease. Since bariatric surgery treats weight gain and obesity, it can have a positive effect on the metabolic processes – including how the body metabolizes insulin. This in turn may be able to treat the symptoms of PCOS that relate to problems processing sugar, such as weight gain. This relationship may explain why weight loss surgery seems to affect PCOS symptoms. Studies Show Bariatric Surgery Can Help PCOS Research has shown that weight loss surgery can reverse the conditions associated with metabolic syndrome (such as high blood pressure, high blood sugar, etc.) or prevent them from occurring. Additionally, scientific studies have shown a positive connection between bariatric surgeries and relief from PCOS symptoms. The basis of these assertions is the relationship between PCOS and obesity. One study of 33 women with PCOS who underwent weight loss surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation found that bariatric surgery resolved many key characteristics of PCOS, including enlarged ovaries and excess androgen. The study concluded that women should consider weight loss surgery as an extreme remedy for PCOS.     First full day home

    I'm writing this entry a bit early today. It's my first full day at home. I attached a screenshot of my MyFitnessPal progress for the day. I'm using MFP to ensure I'm getting all the protein I need while staying under the sugars and fats for the day. I didn't sleep well at all last night. I'm hoping that the sleep gets better. I was able to get a few hours of sleep in from 2 to 5 am this morning before I finally got up. I didn't end up following the food schedule I wanted to today. Mainly because my sleep was all messed up. I'll try again tomorrow. I took all the meds and my multi-vitamin I was supposed to take and had a BM finally. I was worried about not having one. I had a little bit of help though, because I took a suppository. One of the food suggestions during this phase for me is cream of wheat with a scoop of protein powder. I use chocolate light muscle milk to mix in and it tastes so good! My worry is that I don't have the ability to feel full yet so I'm eating it very slowly. Cream of wheat changes its texture very quickly to hard and dry once it's out too long. So I got two good bites in before it got hard and I couldn't eat anymore. Anyone with any suggestions would be nice. It's one only thicker consistency things I can eat right now and the taste is so lovely. For dinner I decided to try some fat-free yogurt with the unflavored Unjury protein powder. I found is that once I mix the powder in to the yogurt, the yogurt is a little too watery. Probably the temperature causing that. And though it says it's unflavored, I could still taste there was something different about the yogurt. It's sort of the same reason I don't do those unflavored mix ins for fiber or drink miralax in water. I can always taste the change and it makes me not want to finish whatever it is I'm eating. I decided to try out one of the trazodones that I had left over from last year when I stopped taking them to see if I could sleep this afternoon. I took a 50 mg tablet and it worked almost instantly. I slept for a little over 3.5 hours. Waking back up felt so nice. My best friend made dinner for the family today. Spaghetti with italian sausage and some garlic bread. I snuck a small bit of the garlic bread and immediately felt icky. I chewed it up until the point where there was hardly anything in my mouth and swallowed. Then for about 10 minutes I felt like it was lodged inside my esophagus. That was a stupid move, one I won't make again. I had 76 grams of protein today from the small amount of muscle milk I had in my cream of wheat, premium protein chocolate shakes - I had two to make up for not eating much at breakfast, and the unjury protein packet for dinner with my yogurt. I'm getting tired of the current set of meal choices. I'll have to change some things up tomorrow to keep things interesting. My mood today started on the sad side. But after waking up from my nap this afternoon I felt a little better. I need to get a little bit of walking in tonight before it gets much darker. I weighed myself and I'm close to losing all of the water weight gain from my time in the hospital. I peed so frequently yesterday that I dropped 6 pounds from morning until about 5pm. By tomorrow morning I should be back to my weight I was at before going into surgery.

    Weight Gain

    May I ask what BMI you were when your weightloss stopped and what BMI you are now, after the weight gain? I would be tempted to go back to basics. Total basics. Protein, Water, no carbs, lower fat, lower sugar.

    FDA finally approves AspireAssist

    At first glance, it scares me, too! I would worry that consciously or subconsciously, the user would feel freer to use the device as an excuse to eat more or make poorer choices. Most (probably all) of us who got to be overweight haven’t been eating completely mindlessly. We know already that some of our choices are bad, and we try to make better ones like cutting back on serving size and choosing healthier foods. We may not do it well enough – that’s why the weight came on – but there generally is some sort of self-restriction going on. I would worry that the Aspire Assist would lead users to be less cautious about eating habits, leading to no weight loss (or even weight gain) and the development of eating habits that are even harder to kick. Another concern for me would be the removal of the device. Some of us depend on our weight loss surgery restrictive tools (pouch, stoma, or sleeve) for life, but Aspire Assist patients wouldn’t have the option of the constant companion. I guess they could go back to it if needed, but that’s not the goal (I don’t think). @@Guineakitty, Thank you for sharing your experience. It sounds like you are using the tool exactly as it was meant to be used, and it is working exactly as it was meant to work. Congratulations on getting to goal weight, and good luck maintaining in the years to come!

    My first plateau, an observation....

    If I can stop shoveling the food in, I loose weight quickly. But historically, I also loose in spurts. I just found it interesting that this is also happening with the band, though it makes sense. The band isn't going to change how we loose weight, as far as I can figure it, it helps with the "shoveling food in" part. The real fun for me will come in a couple of months when it is warm enough to start cycling again, as I start training to do a Century in the fall, my weight will bounce all over the place as I spend more and more time on my bike. When I train heavily, I put on muscle, retain Water and see weight gains for weeks at a time to see 10 pounds drop in a week. It is a real "E" ticket ride.

    Disapproval From Others.

    After momths and momths of research, attending support groups, 3 seminars, etc, I told my best friend I decided to have lapband. She knew I was doing all this research and yet her response to me was " so you're going to take the easy way out". I was stu ned by her reaction. She has seen my weight gain, we work out hard everyday together and we are constantly supporting each other.....until that remark. I was very sad and hurt and decided then that I would not discuss my surgery with her anymore. My reply to her ignorance was to say: actually, this is the hardest decision in my life (im 57!). I will subject myself to surgery, have 5 holes drilled in my stomach, change my eating habits forever, give up bread, smash my meds everyday because they wont go down easy, commit to some meds for the rest of my life, possibly have temporary hair loss, awful stuck episodes, etc, in hope of weight loss to relieve my joint pain, ward off diabetes and feel human again... After all of that she admitted that she is jealous that I will be losing weight and she didnt want me thinner than her. OK, that I can understand. Just dont tell me Im taking the easy way out when you dont know a thing about it!
