  5. Made it through my first major holiday with NO battle scars, so thankful... was worried that I would not enjoy myself - - had a blast & wore some really CUTE jeans I haven't fit into in 3-years!!!

      lisaanewme67

YESI know the feeling, lol I am 5'2 as well. I am excited that soon, I may be able to shop in the petitte section again and my capris won't look like flooded pants!!! I have a great seamstress that have taken in some of my work pants & jeans in the waist for the time being. Maybe you may be able to wear those favorite capris for a little while longer if the price isn't too much to have them altered.

@Imbo12182 Thanks, I picked my surgery date for earlier in June so that I will be a little more recovered for the 4th. I had an option for later in June but declined. Fitting in my jeans was/is a GREAT feeling seeing all of my hard work paying off. Thanks for your encouragement and Congrats to you as well!

  6. Creeping, creeping, creeping toward Onederland......an average of a quarter pound per week.......so slow.....working on patience....will eventually get there and to my goal. Just wish it was more like a half pound a week average.

      MrsSugarbabe

      Thanks, ya'll!

    2. Djmohr

      Djmohr

I got there about 10 days ago and then guess what, I creeped right back up to 200.2. I have been stuck for almost 2 weeks. I wish it would just give me a break and let me move past. Oh well, I am now avoiding the scale for a while.

    3. MrsSugarbabe

      MrsSugarbabe

@Djmohr -- I feel your frustration and agree---a break would be nice....to show a loss without creeping back up even just a little.

  7. 3 months out and I'm losing all taste for food. I now because I have to. I don't really enjoy anything now. I hope this passes. I mean its good for my weight loss but it sucks to feel like I dont like my food all the time.

For me I would rather have this new relationship with food and lose weight than be hungry and tempted by food. I needed this better relationship with food because the one I had was unhealthy.

    2. Medi619

      Medi619

I dont mind the change in my relationship with food. I just mind not liking what I have to make myself eat. Im actually glad the sweet tooth is gone though. I dont miss that.

I feel the same way so unless it's really flavorful I just don't care if I eat it. spice rack has grown.....

  9. For the past few weeks, I've had a hankering for a peanut butter cup, and have managed to resist buying any every time I've gone shopping. The combination of peanut butter and chocolate is a favorite even though I'm not a choco-holic. Recently I've learned about PB2 powder and have found a recipe on Unjury that just might satisfy this craving and still have more protein and good stuff than bad stuff. I just ordered some PB2 to try. Will let you know how the peanut butter cups turn out.

Love PB2. The chocolate is a nice treat when my sweet tooth nags at me. Love either on on apples or celery as well as in a smoothy

I don't know what pb2 is. So I can't judge that.... But Lintz sure taste great.... Lol. suger I understand about your worries on not being able too stop. Don't underestimate yourself. You can.... Break a piece wrap it up then enjoy it. Don't put it open on your nightstand ok ......
