Space between me n wheel )
  3. I run an annual conference for our customers. Due to the nature of my role, this is often the only time that I actually see them in person and sometimes an individual customer will miss a conference or two, so I only actually see them every two to three years. I am currently running our conference and have had the absolute thrill of about six of them coming up to me to congratulate me on my weight loss and ask how I have done it. One guy even asked if I was the same "Tracey" that ran the conference three years ago because he wasn't sure.

    Sneezing.....

Oh Hun...sneezing up a lil bite of food is a same price to pay for all the NSV I have had....
  5. I ordered several pair of knee boots last winter knowing they probably wouldn't fit, but always seemed to do this to myself. They arrived and didn't fit and of course it made me want to cry. However, I pulled them out tonight and thought I'd give it a try and they zipped up with no problem! I was so excited. I now have 3 more pair of boots that suddenly fit which thrills me. I have a couple pairs that still wont zip up, but they are so close which has not been the case for a long time. YAY!

How Long Am I Allowed To Claim Nsv's?

Awhh. I can almost feel how wonderful that is for you. Do a little happy dance and keep celebrsting thise nsv. Awesome!
  7. A new NSV, sort of...Packing is always a challenge for me...and a girl's got to have options! Only one suitcase per person...and MUCH more fit into mine this trip than for our trip last October. Smaller sizes mean more clothing in the same space! LOL :)

  8. I went into a store today to try on a sweater that the lady had to get down cause it was up high. She asked me if I wanted a small or medium. Wow, don't know if I will ever get used to that I am a medium, let alone someone sizing me up as a medium (or a small). I am still about 5 lbs from goal and have been for several months now, but I am at my goal of a size 8/10. So I am not that concerned with the 5 lbs. Will I ever get used to those kinds of compliments and how long do I get to claim them as nsv's?

    Nsv

So I've been complaining that I haven't lost enough weight. Before my journey I was in a size 20. Today I went clothes shopping and I fit in size 16 jeans and size 14 slacks!!! Wow! I was shocked Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk
  10. Oh my goodness! So many NSV's in one situation! I would probably be doing some sort of crazy happy dance on the plane and get thrown off for erratic behavior. lol

    Bcbs Fed

I have BCBS FEP and I love it. I was approved within days and only had to pay about $500 total out of pocket. That was trully my NSV. Congrats and many blessings to you.

    Nsv! Sorta

I went out to Wally's World (walmart) and got a new bra. I didn't want to pay a lot of money for it especially since I expect I'll need a new size soon. So, I purchased a 38B and it has a small band made of lace, maybe 1 inch in width. So anyway I am wearing the new bra and have it attached to the second or middle row (NSV 1) and it's lying flat against my back(NSV 2). It hasn't rolled into any creases or it isn't digging into my back, it's just lying flat. My back fat rolls are GONE!!!! All of my other bras have wide 2 1/2 inch or wider bands to cover fat rolls. This is awesome because I am always conscious of how my shirts look from the back. I have broad shoulders and that plus back fat rolls is not a good look on me. Now the empty space in the cups is a another story. Loving my sleeve!

Everything has shrunk from a size 14 (*cough* more like a 16 *cough*) pre-op to me fitting into my size 10 jeans. I never took measurements, but my clothing is pretty much telling the story for me. And the shorts I'm wearing in my 2 month pic wouldn't even go up my thighs 2 months ago- total NSV and now my favorite pool deck lounging booty shorts. I'm still swimming 5 days a week, and I'm getting really close to my first personal goal of 169, which is the highest allowable weight according to my BMI chart. In 2 weeks I got Halloween, and in 3 weeks my Birthday. I'm really stepping it up in workouts and extra stuff just so that I can be prepared to take pics with friends and be happy, and actually smiling in all my pics. I'm ready for pics with friends finally!!!

Halloween Hording! Well last year and probably all previous Halloweens I would buy the candy in bulk and "hide it" from everyone in the house so there would be some for the trick or treaters. LOL yah right! Since "I" knew where it was I would probably eat about half of the stash. Also since I work at a school, but not as a teacher I would float from class party to class party collecting yummy goodies. Well this year it has made it half way to Halloween and I haven't even thought about buying candy. NSV!! I was at the store today and noticed I was in the seasonal isle and didn't even think about grabbing a bag! I also have a very busy day scheduled for the 31st to avoid classrooms & staff rooms. If I start to feel worried I might just call in sick!! I will not gorge myself this year!!!!! So being in the season what are your Halloween should not and will dos??

    I Have Stopped Losing!

I'm in the same boat guys! Sleeved March 11 and down 72 lbs. Stalled for 2.5 months from July until October 5th. Actually gained 10 lbs during my stall (guess it's not really a stall). Anyway, last week I dropped 6 lbs and got down to 159. Now I'm back up to 161. It's so frustrating. My goal is 155 and I wouldn't mind getting down to 145. I just want to make my first goal weight then focus on the next goal. I'm so close and I work out 5-6x a week, get all my protein and water but the scale just isn't giving me the results. Luckly I also take measurements so I know I'm losing inches but still! I'm glad I'm not alone. By the way, I'm 5'6" and big boned and would love to be wearing a size 10 but I'm still in a 13/14 but I did just buy size 6 underware and size medium jogging pants so it was a nice little NSV!!!

    Nsv! So Excited!

Hey you! I love your NSV! So awesome! Keep it up! May the last 20lbs disappear really really fast.
  18. Thanks for sharing. I too can't wait for these NSV moments. Keep up the good work!
  19. Thank you Thank you Thank you! This post was exactly what I needed to put things back in perspective. Such a great inspiration. I am 8 weeks out and have lost 30 lbs so far as well as dropped 2 pant sizes (probably more like 3). I have been stuck there for a little over a week and have started to get a little frustrated but I know deep down that these "plateaus" happen (I just feel like I should have lost more by now...but there I go again pushing myself). Reading your post reminds me that I did this for me and my husband and my only regret was that I didn't do it sooner. Sure it hasn't been a total cake walk, but all in all it hasn't been that bad either. I can bend over without having to hold my breath now and tieing my shoes is easier than it has been in years and there is actual distance between the steering wheel and my tummy....good NSV's. I have been wearing clothes I haven't worn since 2008..woohoo!! I am slowly learning that food was not the enemy...I was my own enemy. I now feel I have control and am gaining more and more confidence every day. This was good!

    Lost My Mojo!

Vent away, it helps . Yes, doubts are common, we've all tried a zillion diets that have failed, what makes this different? I would make a list of things that motivate you- NSV's- like going on the rides at the fair without worrying they'll kick you off for being too fat, no seatbelt extender on an airplane, weighing less than DH (these are a few of mine, LOL). Have a little journal where you write your feelings- good and bad- and reasons to keep on keeping on. It's still a journey, even though you have some excellent help in the form of the band. It will have ups and downs, remember this is a lifetime thing, not another diet. So you can do it, I know you can, just feel your feelings, own them, and try not to eat them . Nicki
  24. Ok on MFP I saw someone post this, and it's so true.. NSV: collar bones! Heck back bones too! I remember sitting on a bench at Red Lobster asking what that was poking me in the back (thinking it was the wall)... it was my backbone! lol So USED to being FLUFFY!

  25. So to day was getting ready for work, and pulled out a pair of jeans, thinking these are not going to fit. Holding my breath in goes one leg then the other and up they went...and where loose in the thighs and waist!!..so happy at 645 this morning I call my boyfriend of 3 yrs to tell him, he said good job babe, but I don't think I can handle this weight lost thing...I need time....WTH!!
