I’ve been trying to find these wraps ever since I saw you post about them and I can’t seem to get them anywhere I went to Walmart and target and they were all out. I also saw this YouTube video on low carb Keto wraps and one of the wraps that were tested were these and they did the best as far as keeping you in ketosis. Minute 8:33 is where she tests the Ole brand I also went on the hunt for more keto bread from aldi and it was wiped out. I went to 3 Aldi’s ... -

Yes, I did! It ended up getting marinated for almost 2 days (due to me gilling them the day after I originally meant to)! Since I had more chops than usual, I tripled the recipe below, and then before grilling, I boiled the marinade to reduce a little then added 1/2 tsp of cornstarch to thicken a bit more. I then used this as a baste during grilling (careful: the oil and sugar content will cause mighty flare ups if it gets to drippy!) 2 tbsp olive oil 1/2 cup soy sauce 1/4 cup honey (or brown sugar) 3 tbsp minced garlic 2 tsp sesame oil 2 tsp ginger minced 2 tbsp sriracha sauce 1 tsp black pepper * can make this more Keto if you sub the soy sauce for tamari, the honey with brown sugar stevia, and the sriracha with chilli flakes or cayenne. And if you want to baste, sub the cornstarch with xanthan gum. I wasn't planning on having any (I had chicken) so I did it the regular way. -

Someone tell me WHY I thought it was a great idea to do keto for a while?! Keto flu is gonna kill me! The walnut bread is super dense but delicious toasted. 9g net carbs, 17g protein. 18g fat. Excuse me while I now lie on the couch and regret my life choices to reduce carb intake. -

The way I feel must be like the keto flu, then. I never tried the keto diet so I didn't experience it. My nutritionist did not mention I'd feel so yucky. It is good to hear that I may be going through a normal process, then. I DO have Netflix and am binging at night after work when the kids and hubby are eating dinner. Cooking would be too difficult right now! -

Made two batches of Keto Ginger Cookies tonite, the second batch had chopped up candied ginger in the batter, the first batch did not. Macros, per serving: Batch 1 -- 38 cals, 2.1g NET carbs, 3.1g fat, 0.8g protein Batch 2 -- 52 cals, 5.5g NET carbs, 3.1g fat, 0.8g protein I had one from Batch#2, I found it a little too sweet for my taste, though Mr & the Kid ate em up. Next time I'm going to sub out some of the stevia/monk fruit with some molasses-type sweetener, and cut the total amount of sweetener overall. P.S. The house smells AWESOME right now. -

Another PSA: Dream Bagel KETO Everything Bagels (1 NET carb per bagel) are a solid thumbs down. Came back from a bakery where I bought 6 Montreal style bagels straight off the conveyor belt along with a tub of gourmet garlic & herb cream cheese for the fam. They smelled so good while they were eating it, that I finally busted out the Keto bagels in the freezer that Mr. bought for me a while back. I was all excited cuz these Keto bagels smelled really good too out of the toaster oven...slathered some of cream cheese, took one bite and... Keto Bagel Fail. These were not enjoyable at all. The density & texture was all wrong and other than the "everything" flavouring sprinkled on top it was very bland. I ended up scraping the cream cheese off and just eating that, which btw was DELICIOUS (though for $8.50 for about 1 cup, it better be!!!) Edited to add: so not to waste the Keto bagels, I'm going to toast em up, make breadcrumbs out of them and use them for breading or burger filler...Le Sigh. This is what happens when I stray from salads....lol -

It was for me today. It's not something I plan to eat regularly after WLS. I read the label. 30g carbs/12g of it is sugar. Wasn't a good choice but so are a lot of other things posted to this thread. LOL My nutritionist encouraged me to eat carbs pre-op and it was really tough for me to shift from my Keto mentality to 45g of carbs daily. But I lost 22 pounds before WLS in those 3 months. In a few weeks I'm supposed to up my carbs to 60g. I usually sweeten food with Stevia so today was a one off. -

Almost-Keto Apple Fritters Adapted from an Actual-Keto Apple Fritter recipe (I didn’t have any “vital wheat gluten”... whatever that is! So i used 1/8 cup wheat flour + 1/8 cup psyllium instead. Also, I skipped the glaze and used cinnamon and granulated monkfruit instead; as well as added baking powder) These things turned out MASSIVE (miscalculation on my part) and just one is the size of BOTH my hands! A regular serving should probably be less than half this size. 161 calories for each ginormous fritter (11g fat, 19g net carbs). Ate 1/4 of one, and the fam wolfed down the rest of them before they even cooled down (shhhh...don’t tell them there wasn’t any actual sugar in them!) -

Mine didn't even have protein in it 😳😔but yes no coconut or almond flour. Cocoa powder used like flour then all the rest of your ingredients just the same. I don't have measurements sorry, just mix until it is like cake batter I when i tried to make keto cornbread I used vanilla protein powder and coconut flour everyone decided it was more like yellow (spiced) cake -

I agree, no top secret tips here I think the key is to find a sustainable plan that will work for you long term. What works for me (but may not work for anyone else) Logging everything I eat and drink everyday. So I know the approximate calories that I lose, maintain or gain at. Weigh myself on a regular basis. I have weight red line. If I go over that for more then a few days I know I need to make adjustments to my diet to bring my weight back down If I want to lose a little then I can do intermittent fasting which I might combine with calorie restriction. I think it is also important to be aware of what will not work for you long term. I know that I will never maintain a rigorous work out schedule. I am also very susceptible to diet fatigue and will rebel if I feel deprived. So I know that moderation works for me, and not restrictive diets like keto etc.. -

The amount I can eat (four years out) varies hugely. I fast 22/24 three days a week and 16/8 or 18/6 the other four days and I’m v low carb/Keto and absolutely no damn sugar at all! Sugar been gone about six weeks this time. Lowest weight 8 stone 2, highest 10 stone 10 about 6 weeks ago! Dropped 12lbs so now 9 stone 12 (137llbs) feel so good! Sugar is the devil for me! food pics are air fried thighs and aubergine/courgette mix and a chaffles (pancake made from egg and cheese) with fried pek (Keto friendly chopped pork) and mushroom and a slice of emmenthal. I have a ninja foodi 9 in one - pressure, air, steam, bake, sauté, grill etc! And I use it most days. In love with ma foodi! -

🤣 Walmart is one of my least favorite places to go. I usually just do a pick up order. Bread is in the freezer by other frozen keto foods in my store. Kind of crumbly on the texture, but I think it tastes good! -

Keto Bagels Recipe These Keto bagels will make you very, very happy! Thanks to the ingenious mozzarella (Fathead) dough, they are gluten free and low in carbs. Course Breakfast Cuisine British Keyword gluten free bagels, keto bagels, low carb bagels Prep Time 10 minutes Cook Time 20 minutes Total Time 30 minutes Servings 6 Calories 231 kcal Author Katrin Ingredients 1 1/2 cup / 175g shredded mozzarella 1 cup / 100g almond flour extra fine. 1 1/4 cup / 125 g when using ground almonds / almond meal 1 egg, large, beaten 4 tbsp / 50g cream cheese 1 tbsp psyllium husk powder 1 tsp baking powder poppy / sesame seeds optional Instructions Preheat the oven to 180 Celsius / 360 Fahrenheit Melt the mozzarella and cream cheese in the microwave (1 1/2 minutes on high) or in a non stick pan. In another bowl, mix the dry ingredients - almond flour, psyllium husk powder and baking powder. Add dry ingredients plus the beaten egg to the mozzarella. Combine with a spatula, then knead with your hands until you have a smooth dough. Alternatively, mix in a stand mixer or food processor. Form a large ball and cut into 6 segments. Form each segment into a log, lay them down in a circle and pinch the ends together to make bagel shapes. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle with poppy seeds or sesame seeds. Bake for ca 20 minutes or until lightly browned on top. Recipe Notes If the dough is sticky, lightly oil your hands. It is easier to handle once it cools. The dough should be room temperature when it goes in the oven. This prevents the bagels from flattening in the oven. The bagel shapes should be tall and the hole a decent size (check my images). When the bagels rise, they also spread a little. This way you ensure your end product looks good. If you're using coarse almond flour / almond meal / ground almonds, increase the amount to 125 g / 1 1/4 cup. The bagels firm as they cool down. They can be reheated in the microwave or lightly toasted. You can store them in the fridge for up to a week or freeze them. Glad to see everyone is doing so well I lost down to under 130 last April at the start of the pandemic. I’ve gained about 5-7 pounds and stay generally between 133-138. I hit 142 right after the holidays, and went strictly bari-keto with IF and now I’m sitting at 137. The first shot was when I dipped down below 130 and I feel like I look quite skeletal. The second shot is from late summer, and the 3rd shot is from a few weeks ago (I was probably 3-4 pounds “heavier” than I am currently.) Sorry I’ve been gone for so long, but it’s been a rough last year and unfortunately the frenetic pace isn’t slowing down for me. I’ve had 2 days off since January 1st with no end in sight -

Hey nice article , i am an exercise physiologist, You see weight loss is a hard phase but i believe when you pass that phase you will become someone mentally , socially and most especially physically. extraordinary But as hard as it is there are basics to it which are diet, weight loss supplements , exercise , consistency and determination , these are all the factors you need for extreme weight loss. For people always asking me i only recommend three weight loss supplements, why ? because this products i have tested it myself during my weight loss journey and the only thing i can tell you is that they help when you tremendously especially when you combine them with a diet or workout , for me my diet was a customized keto diet which i got on www.customdiet.com , very wonderful site , i customized my keto diet to my taste and i bought the package, as for supplements i used RESURGE , Lepto connect and Nutra vesta , why did i use this three you may ask, well like i said i am an exercise physiologist and i was fat , i had to test all these supplements before i prescribed it to people who want to lose weight fast so there will be no complains ,so what i am going to do is that i will drop the websites for these three miracle workers here , get any you want but i recommend RESURGE because it makes you get a nice sleep as it increases metabolic process , so www.resurge.com , www.leptoconnect.com And www.nutravestaglobal.com less i forget it is good to take herbal products because they are all vegis which means filled with absolute nutrient you can get them on www.lostbook.com , good luck guys , remember to drink lots of water too . au revoir
