I was rushing through the airport last night because I found out I wasn't going to get home and had to book a hotel on the other end when I encountered the longest ID review possible. The dude then asked for a second ID which fortunately I had, then he grilled me about my ID information.... Then after calling a supervisor he approves it, leaving me about 3 seconds to book the hotel and he says...ma'am, this ID is really inaccurate and the picture barely resembles you you need to update it before your next flight. I've only lost 45lbs but my face does look a lot different. I hadn't looked at my DL lately Guess I have to go back and get a new one LOL I was kind of laughing as I rushed to the plane Which was then held late of course, so all that rushing for nothing...but a nice NSV heh heh

I was so cold this morning and I couldnt find my long pj's when I got out of bed. I grabbed the first thing I could find and just shimmied into them. They are my husbands sweats. A size MEDIUM! I cant remember the last time I could wear his pants. He is 150 soaking wet lol! I also got into the 220's this morning. the first time in 15 years!

Hi All, I havent been here for a while but thought I would come back in and share some things with you all. I am now 15 months post op and living a normal life. Ihave lost close to 160 pounds and while I am still classified as overweight for my height, I couldnt be happier with my body and shape...I have the curves I always wanted...now just to clear up the skin issues. I look great in clothes And it feels good to be able to say that. None of this didnt come without hard work and committment, the surgery is just a tool, the rest is pure determination. My friends recently did a video of my journey and the changes, motivations for doing it..a bit of a doco so to speak. I wanted to share it with you all. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/Op0j3KfVsdc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Maybe it is some motivation for you, maybe you see yourself in it...but it is my story for now....

1. I can cross my legs, haven't done that in at least 3yrs. 2. My motorcycle does not burn the crap out of my inner thighs. Cubby thighs to close to the heat. It's all worth being in "Bandster Hell"

after 100 lb weight loss, I wanted new picture for drivers license talked to clerk about my wt loss and WLS - he told me he had gastric bypass 5 years ago (small world)- and except for about 5-10 lbs he sometimes teeters with, he's doing great (water, Protein et al - doing terrific) - he lost 170 lbs and he looked great even though clerk didn't have the sleeve, its nice to see someone "long term" post WLS - continue to be successful i have heard some people do gain all their weight back, i guess that can happen to any of us (not to me of course!!! ) he called other clerk over, showed my old license to her - they both couldn't believe it was me!!! If i do say so myself ( and I do!!!) my new picture is pretty darn good - all modesty aside i DO look great - feel great too

Wear those pants a bunch cause they will be falling off you before you know it! Great NSV!!!! -
Today after a great therapy session, I got up and left. Halfway out the door I stopped dead. I realized that for the first time EVER I was able go get up and walk away without having to pull up my pants from rolling under my belly. Very good feeling.

NSV: I cancelled my blind date tonight. Why is this an NSV? Because the only time he texted me was on Weds to say he was having a really busy rough time at work and would get back to me. And never did. Tonight we had tentative plans with NO time or location specified (only that we should have dinner Friday and we will plan it later in the week) and I've been waiting quietly for him to plan or let me know. Last night was his deadline. I don't accept same day dates. I'm not desperate nor weak... anymore. Once upon a time I would have taken any excuse from someone to cancel, disappear, or do a last minute date with me. Something has triggered in me and I'm not accepting anymore dating b.s. The bar has been set. If he wants to see me, he can take me to a dinner date when he calls and plans ahead. I kept my babysitter, texted my friend and her husband and we are going out to dinner instead. When (or even IF) he finally calls to set something up, I'll just let him know that I've got a life. A great one. And he's going to have to step up his game if he wants my time. Plan ahead, book a time with me, and stay true to it, or I'm saying bu-bye. I'm kinda digging my new found confidence. ... oh yeah, and I dropped -3.5 lbs this week. I'm excited to go out with my friends and do a little twirl in my new dress and cowgirl boots. Hi everyone! Meredith, glad to see you! LOL, my DH picked our couches as well, and is also the horder of the family- maybe they're related!! I'm just glad YOU and your family are safe, everything else can be replaced somehow. Dee, good to "see" you! Yep, I've been off the bandwagon for a couple months, and have regained some- but not nearly as much as I would have! On 1/1/13 I'll be back on- I'm actually pretty good at New Year's resolutions, and my YMCA is having a Zumba party that day, so a good kickstart, LOL. Chrissy- how are you doing? Let's start our exercise goals in January. I'm still hitting several days most weeks, but we'll start kicking butt and taking names in January. Well, here's a NSV for you! I went to the Dave Matthews Band concert on Wednesday night, our tickets were general admission floor- meaning standing room only. And I was able to stand and dance (well, as well as I could with the sticky floor from all the spilled drinks!!). My feet hurt, but not nearly as much as they would have 70+ lbs ago! And I was not the fattest there BY FAR! The only bummer is, I wish I had a seat to see how much better I fit into it! LOL. DH had to leave the floor and find a seat (and I had to promise no more standing room only tickets). But it was so much fun, it was my 5th time seeing them, it's such a good show and I"m a HUGE fan. NJ2NC, I'm sure your boss was there, right??? He'll tell you how awesome it was! Okay everyone, have a great day!! Nicki
