  1. Hi Nean! Ugh today was sucky. I am excited about the weight loss coming but I have been hungry. The appetite suppressants are not holding down my appetite. But I heard it gets better so I'm crossing my fingers. Have you started yet?

  2. Hey... congrats on the weight loss!!

Kinda curios... How did your port flip...Did feel that it moved...will u have to go under sedation again to adjust it?

  3. I wish I were 250!!! Congrats to you! So far the weight has just been falling off. I eat mostly proteins, I do have carbs but no breads, sweets, sodas, or anything like that. Oh, and no crackers, chips, popcorn - you know, any of the things I would eat like, daily. LOL. I've been going to the gym maybe 3 times a week. But today I was beating myself up because the stupid scale said I went up 2 f'ing pounds. I'm still working on my emotional baggage that I carry!!! Take it easy Sister!

  4. Hey, I saw your post on weight loss and that you have never had a fill! I went for my first fill and the doc said I was doing so well I didn't need one right now. Just curious, did you just have good restriction with the band alone? You have done so well with your weight loss, I hope I can do the same.

  5. very true lisa i'm just happy that with the change in my habits that the weight is coming off cause some people don't lose any weight. And i reallly have a lot to lost before i'm at my goal weight. but any loss is a good loss thats what i think ^_^

  6. I do 45 mins to an hour cardio I mostly do treadmill and i do weight training

  8. Hey! I am doin ok... havent been loosin any weight... but im ok lol... How are you??

  9. Good Luck to you, I am 6 days post-op, like you i was so proud of weight i lost prior to surgery-when you have so much to loose (starting pt 385) it was just to daunting, but knowing if i could loose 20 I could have this done gave me the push i needed. I got down to 384 before surgery and haven't weighed in yet-so far this is super harder than I thought it would be, ah, i want to chew something-even if it healthy. I'm on full-liquids right now, it's tough, but worth it, keep in touch-i'm new to the board, this is my first post-g/l on the 15th

  10. Well it's been 10 months since I had my surgery.. My weight is 198. I'm very happy with the weight loss. I still vomit alot.. I guess I eat too much, my mind still says yes to food.

  11. Hello Phyllser, You have come a long way baby!!!!! With weight loss and RVing. You look great! We have a fith-wheel we roam around in. We were down in Texas this past spring. We RVed for two weeks. We are not yet retied. my husband is 55 and can retire but we have my granddaughter living with us and her mom (our daughter). The mom is thinking about the Navy and I recomend it highly to her. Then I think we can set forth and do some good traveling. What kind of dog do you have? I have a Shitzu named Sophie. She loves the RV campgrounds. The smells are what she likes the most I guess. Please let me know how your trip went. Do you have a laptop? and get wifi where you stay? We try to. Good luck to you in your endevors. I have not been banded yet but hope to be soon. Wendy Ann

  12. I am impressed that you lost weight before the surgery. I am now 262... The biggest I have ever been. I am only 5'5 so you know I look like a basket ball. I am trying to motivate myself to exercise but I am soooooooo discouraged by the number on the scale. Good Luck on losing the rest of your weight! I know you will do well because you are determined.

  13. Hey lisa been awhile how you been i'm doing good i havent lost anymore weight i barely got my first fill and i'm hoping that this will help because i've been eating to much not like i used to before but enough that i haven't been losing any weight but at least i haven't gained i've been maintaining myself. I need to exercise more!

    Well later

  14. You look great! congrats on your weight loss :)

  15. i agree... its not like weight watchers or something like that... its more like a life time deal!

  16. Your face shows so much weight loss between highest weight and post-surgery -- I know how lame this might sound but take comfort in that! The scale might not be moving, but seriously you look fantastic! Take care.....

  17. Shell... how are you girl?? How is the weight loss going?

  18. Hi Sue

I am OK, put weight on last month 3lbs, had a 3rd fill yesterday which will take me to 6.5lbs he couldn't put the extra 0.5ml I wanted. I do feel restriction now and hope it lasts the month, need to lose some weight again, this is getting me down. How are you doing now? x

  19. How are you doing? It appears that your weight lost has been going very well for you. I am sorry that I have not stopped by your page in a long time, but things have been very crazy with me. I have finally completed everything required by my insurance company. I am now waiting to hear back from them to approve or deny me for the band. I am really praying to hear something positive very soon. You look wonderful in your pics. I will talk with you later.

  20. you look so AMAZING! When was your surgery date? You have lost sooooo much weight! What kinds of things did you do and do you continue to do? CONGRATS!

I was banded 3/31/10 and so far am down 40lbs. I was hopeing for more and am super determined, but I have NO restriction yet what so ever. I could eat an elephant if I wanted. BUT I DONT! lol It is kind of frustrating since I have no restriction cause Its like I could be doing this whole diet thing without the lap band. So hopefully y next fill helps me out!

  21. hey there lady! girl i've been stressin on life and gaining weight...eating like i'm naturally skinny...had to get a slight unfil because i couldnt eat real food only slider foods and junk which of course made me gain...so i'm trying to get a grip and start to lose again...i feel like i have forgotten what i need to do?! how are you doing?

  22. Just go to walmart and buy two of the flat weights - stick them in your pockets to weigh. take them back to walmart if you need to. Over the next six months as you are qualifying for the lap band - dietician, appts, doctor etc, you can gain the weight. I had to gain thrity pounds also. Gaining thirty pounds now is nothing - when your talking the rest of your life. If you have to gain thirty pounds to secure a healthy future - then do it. if you have to go to a different doctor who will simply ask your weight then do that (then you can switch as you get closer to qualifying)

  23. hey love, looking good as always! congrats on your 100lbs weight lost! keep up the good work u look amazing! im proud of you
