Now wait a minute... We've discussed blow jobs and many other things, and now my one question is TMI? I thought this was an open and liberated thread. I"ll go remove my offensive posting, but I don't honestly know why it was so offensive as compared to everything else on this thread. -
Christa, Firstly, just about NOTHING is TMI for most of the people around here . And dark pee is a sign of dehydration. Please do your best to get that color up. You will be peeing alot at first, but your body really will get used to it and you'll go less. Not as little as you are now, but less than the feeling of getting up to go right after you sat down, lol. I was dehydrated once a few years back when I had a bad kidney infection. They used 2 or 3 bags of Fluid on me when I went to the ER. My mom said she literally watched the color come back into my face. Be nice to your kidneys!!

Hey Paul, I really didn't know till recently but it really is TMI. Funny thing is that now that I know what it means and what it refers to, I actually look out for it when I shop or go out. LOL, I'm like, "Wow, he got a FUPA" Fat upper Pen*s Area. -

Hiya all, I read this thread when it first popped up along with the other one. I have suffered badly since my TT 4 months ago and had been to the toilet a handful of times. I read the sites etc and decided to go with one that sounded great which I wont mention because I dont want to seem like I am advertising. I am on day 6 and welllllllllllll it is one of the best things I have ever done. I am really shocked and suprised what ummmm actually comes out (TMI) things I hadnt eaten in a long time etc. This one I am using really works and I feel 10000 times better, my skin looks better and as a bonus I dropped 4 kgs. I know its not fat but that was an extra 4 kgs I was carrying around backed up in my bowels and intestines etc. I love it and will continue to do it for maintanance...thanks for the post and information throughout. Hugs

I still have the shorts that I meet my DH in. They are black "Daisy dukes" with fringes around the legs. My GOAL is to get back into thoses shorts. My dh loved them and he told me years later when he saw them on me (I was not there for him, I happened to be dating his roommate) all he could think was "he wanted my legs wrapped around him". May TMI but it makes me smile! Good luck YOU will get into those outdated jeans.... Oh by the way I am 6'2 so I have tons of legs!!!!

i am assuming that nsv means non-scale victory? if not, that is what it will mean for me. that being said, i hope this one isn't tmi (too much information) but here it goes. i usually have to buy queen plus size pantyhose for sunday morning services. about one week after surgery i noticed that i had on just a pair of queen sized pantyhose and they didn't hurt in between my thighs nor did that make that annoying sound that pantyhose make when they run up against your inner thighs as you walk. i was elated over that. pre surgery, my panties used to be so tight that they cut into my upper thighs but i just refused to go buy a larger size than they already are. about a week out of surgery, and definitely now, i don't experience that anymore. no pair of panties are too tight on me. they are so comfortable. and i have alot of extra space in my bra now and my breasts aren't hanging over the sides competing for underarm space!!!

Aww sorry some of you are feeling bad.. I am 11 days Post op and feeling wonderful! no pain! no gas!.. Hang in there ladies.. As far as the nauseousness, I stopped the narcotic pain meds completely when I was still in the hospital. I started taking liquid tylenol (extra strength) and it took the edge off nicely.. Best thing to do for gas, WALK.. it loosens it up and you will be lettin it fly in no time! lol sorry if TMI.. *grin* Hang in there! I am happy to be finally in mushies!! Better than liquids! Hi Cloe! Well, After yet another glycerine suppository I had one glorious day without constipation. YAY!!! ...but that is gone now:mad: as I had the golfball feeling for an hour or so last night...and today I have explosive diarhea. (TMI, I know LOL) I'm not complaining though...at this point I am just kinda sadistically amused by how sick I am. I know it will pass...and BOY will I ever appreciate it then!!! I can't wait. And Thanks for the info Leila! -
You poor dear. I hope you get this cleared up soon. My band doc had me taking liquid antibiotics too. But after 3 days all I had was "the runs" (TMI) SO, his office nurse said they obviously were not doing me any good and to stop taking them. I luckily did not have any fever or infections. I do hope you get balanced out and feeling better! Terry:)
-
My symptoms were different. The pain was up higher and to the right side, going around to my back. Pretty much under the ribcage to the shoulder blade. I didn't have any probems with constipation. I didn't feel nauseated, just an ache to sharp pain that wouldn't go away no matter how I sat or layed down or whatever. I'd go in, or at least call. Being constipated can be an issue of it's own. I speak from experience, having gotten so bad I thought it was my appendix and ending up in the ER with an enama(yeah, probably TMI!).

I am home from the hospital and doing well! I had a bit of difficulty with the pain meds. I don't do well on narcotics so I stopped taking them that night! I am only on liquid tylenol.. there is a really good one that is rapid release and it tastes like cherry.. not bad at all. Right now I feel like I have a really bad pulled muscle in my tummy. I am mobile.. able to shower, etc. I just made some jello *grin*.. One thing I have alot of is gas! Boy am I glad I live alone. Sorry if TMI.. lol How are the other banders from July 5th? Hugz, DonnaMarie
-
Boy, that much sugar these days gives me incredible stomach pain from gas. (TMI? hehe) Definitely not weight loss conducive food anyway... the guideline post-banding is no liquid calories except for your daily dairy. For optimum success, better decide now to just stay away from caloric liquids even if they won't make you die of gas pain. :phanvan

It was way cool! Courtney, it was great seeing you!! I'll call you next week about getting together....MAYBE we could meet around lunch time next Friday and whoever can join us can.... We have 2 parties today.urgh. I'm exhausted! I'm off to curves and then hopefully to buy a bra. I don't know about you guys and your hooters, but mine are still HUGE!!! DDD errrr no shrinkage there yet, no wonder why I lean forward and my back hurts. The last time I was measured the girl said I was a 36 DDD...I don't believe her and they didn't have a bra that size. I have to go find a good place to get the correct size. Sorry TMI I"m sure for a Saturday morning.

My thoughts are with you Karen....so sorry you are going through this. Kathy, knowing how you feel getting things going. Fortantly or unfortunatly for me it's time for Aunti Flo for me. She always loosens things up....I know ...tmi. lol Kim I agree with Kathy, get an unfill, unlike the rest of us, you can conviently get another soon. You don't want to risk messing things up. Hang in there I loved meeting Stacy too...wasn't she a major insperation!?!! Just seeing someone that acually made it to normal inspied me too. Hey I worked out 1.5 hours of cardio and lifte 19,580 lbs today. I am going to be sore tomorrow, I already feel it in my shoulders. Jill how was your trip? Angie check in. I am having a pain in my throat area - I can't spell the "e" word but that is where it is. Ok this might be TMI but I have been taking a stool softner every night to help well I took them last night and I think they could be stuck...It's weird becuase I thought it would be lower feeling. At any rate I am drinking some hot tea and will see what happens. Wish me luck...I pb'ed on everything yesterday so I am going to liquids today and see how I do. Thanks for listening....I know ya'll would understand. Good news is I have lost just over another pound in less then a week.

ditto to almost all above stories. a couple different things though. i have never been in touch with my body. always put taking care of othes needs first and didn't see that i had/have needs to take care of on myself. add that to eating for for numbing purposes and gives you a recipe for "fat". began putting weight on after marriage. my self esteem has always been low and i have always interpreted affection/conversation from men as interest in me sexually. Though sometimes I'm sure there was a two way intrest. I wasn't very tame and responded on impulses frequently. when i got married i had made a committment. i became worried that i would mess up (affair) and began packing weight on as a way to protect myself from anybody being interested in me sexually and thus I would not screw up my marriage. I've only come to realize this when my shrink and I have talked about me getting the band. This is a new revelation to me and I am worried about how I will behave if I am approached sexually by another male when I lose weight. I'm very different than I was when I married 13 years ago. I believe I've matured in many areas and the struggle won't be as intense. If for no other reason, my libido is different. Just FYI I have been faithful to my husband throughout our entire marriage. This is probably TMI but I'm guessing that I'm not the only one out there who has had a struggle with weight for a similar reason. Take what you can, leave the rest.

I have told all that will listen other than my own father. Gosh that sounds bad. But its true, my mom let it slip once but he has never asked me about it or brought it up so when he wants to know i guess he will ask. As far as what you can say I am scheduled to have my Gall bladder out lap. The insicions are the same as the bands except the is one less. (only 3) It also has the same recovery time and hospital stay. 4-6 hrs. So if you are cofortable with that tell your kids as far as anyone else just say a "rutine procedure" Not a lie and not TMI lol good luck...

Hi all, heading off to bed in a few minutes. Jut got home, not long ago, went and had my fill today, my first, he put in 1.25cc. I of course am on liquids, so have no idea if there has been any change, will not likely know for a couple of days I am told. We will not go into the fill itself...enough to know I am here!!! DH's first round of blood work did not come in with high enough numbers, so I am giving him 2 shots a day for another 3 days. Now get this, the first prescription for the Lovenox ( an injectable blood thinner) cost us $98.00 (with our insurance, would have been 200.00 something without it). That was for 5 pre-filled syringes. Today he goes to get the prescription for 6 more filled, and it was going to cost over $300.00. He questioned it, they told him to call the ins. so he did, and the insurance company (medco with BCBS) said it was because he needs to use the mail order for it. BUT there is no way they can have it here before Wednesday. This is a blood clot, it is not negotiable...it is there now and needs treated now! By Wed. we will be finished with this round. So he ask about ordering them now, and buying the new ones...nope, can not be filled again for 3 days...which then puts the mail order, 3 days later. It was impossible to make them understand what was going on. Even the office mgr. at the Dr.'s tried. Then AFTER we coughed up the $$$, we find out he can go to the hospital and receive them as an outpatient, and not cost us anything more than our already paid deductable.....Was an expensive Dr. day for us, with my fill and his shots!!! DD is moving out!!! Her house is ready, she is thrilled, I am thrilled!!! I love her with all my heart, and the granddaughter....is perfection personofied, BUT.....living with my daughter full time again, was a trial at times!!! Mainly, I am just glad her place is finished, it turned out beautiful, she now has a very nice home, and I can weigh naked in the morning if I wanna!!! Ok, TMI, must be time for bed, will catch personals soon. In the meantime, GIANT hugs of appreciation for all the prayers and good thoughts as we go through all this, I am so glad you are all here to vent to THANK YOU!!! Kat

It's not too much information at all... I'm day 2 post surgery, and I'm hoping for a major accomplishment of my own, maybe day 3 will be lucky for me too... LOL I'm not sure how long they'll keep me on protein shakes and clear liquid, they say two weeks on the post op guidelines, but also that they may start you on full liquids earlier depending on how you do. The only other exception they have to clear liquids and the protein shake is fat free sugar free yogurt drinks, I love the sillouhette (sp?) by Danon peach and passionfruit. I add benefibre (doesn't add thickness or flavour) and I add ISOWhey BreeZer protein powder, which is 0 fat, 1 gram carb, 20 gram protein powder and it's pineapple flavoured and -super- yummy, highly recommend it. They protein drink Dr. Cobourn has us use pre and post surgery is optifast, and I -hate- it, so I'm just doing one a day, and getting the rest of my protein and carb needs from the yogurt with the ISOwhey - which doesn't thicken at all, it even tastes great just mixed with water. I find having the constant protein is key for me to not feel hunger. Making sure I take chewable vitamins with iron and chewable calcium along with my protein so that my body has all the tools it needs to heal well. I go in for my first post op visit on monday, so will wait to weigh myself till I'm there in the office. Right now I'm focused on following the rules to avoid complications and on healing. When the steristrips come off I'm going to use scar reducing product as my scars heal to try to take good care of them too, there are some good products in the pharmacy now for healing scars. Speaking of TMI, my gas is so bad, I swear I pass gas about every half hour, and I never thought in my life I would look forward to passing gas. I want it out! Thankfully it's odor free.

Day 3 and everything is going OK. Had my first bowel movement so really feel better now!! (I know TMI, but it was a major accomplishment). I gotta say that I'm hungry. Not sure I could eat if I tried, of which I won't, but I didn't expect this. I am to stay on clear liquids and protein shakes for 5 more days. I think I would be happy if I could just have some thicker soup. Hope everyone else is doing well.

A 'Weenkie' in fact, still do and he's 15...LOL, my son still holds on to it...In fact, I asked him yesterday what he has done that he wouldn't want me knowing about (because we were having a laid back conversation and he was confessing that he used to play with fire when I was at work!!!!!) and he said, ummm...besides masturbating all the time!!! LOL he's a joker, but that was TMI
