Went to Anne Taylor yesterday and bought a size 10 and size 8 in two zip up dresses! I literally could not believe it, I have NEVER been able to wear a dress with a zipper, and now I can fit into 10s and 8s! 96 pounds down, feeling AMAZING

I would have done the same. That is great. My nsv yesterday happened when I had to buy medium scrub bottoms for my new job. I have never been a medium anything.

I actually flew to Portland on Thursday. Even before surgery I did not have to ask for a seat belt extender, but I was getting close! My nsv is that on Thursday, I was able to cross my legs while sitting in a coach seat!! I couldn't believe it and I kept crossing and uncrossing them just to prove I could do it. Amazing! Travel is so much easier now and I plan to do a lot more!

Husband picked me up for the first time in 15 years! Sounds stupid, but made me teary eyed!

My daughter tried out for softball today, and did so well the coach recruited her on the spot. On the way to car, she runs and catches us (out of breath) and explains she wants my 10yr old on her team and to secure her from the draft she needede ME to be her assistant coach...Im scheduled for surgery in three Weeks with Dr. Garcia, and will six Weeks post op when the season starts..Sleevie Family! I am usually a team mom, And my husband coaches baseball, but I got SO excited thinking how I could be active and feeling good about myself something I have always wanted to do, never played sports because I was an overweight child, I just wanted to share with my extended family this pre op NSV!

Oooh..I had an NSV today! Went for a haircut and sat in the chair and while I still filled it, I didn't squeeze into it. Oh boy, was I smiling on the inside at that. -

After getting out of the shower today, I noticed a normal bath towel fits all the way around me now! Not a beach towel, but a normal size bath towel! It covers all of me, that if need be, I could walk out of the bathroom with no worries! I am unsure of how long it has been in my life since one fit around me! I have vowed to never again walk into a Casual Male. I think Kohls is a good choice, from what I've seen walking around d one with my wife, although I need tall lengths, so they may be limited. JC Penney has tall sizes, so that probably will be OK for me. I like Lands' End for catalog shopping. NSV... was in Walmart the other day buying something else, and walked by the jeans. I wondered, 'Well, I'm down a bit... Let's see.' And I found a pair that fit well!!!! There was only one pair of 46-32, but I bought them! First time buying pants in a regular department store since like 2004ish!

Woke up and my former fat girl anytime knock around sweatpants are (drumroll.....) falling off!!!! Not falling all the way to ankle but loose and not wearable!!!!! Yay!

Congrats on the weight loss. What a great feeling it is when snuggling with hubs/boyfriend and feeling so close. I love this too. Yeah, self perception is a tricky thing and I think that most people struggle with trying to see ourselves as others see us (small or tiny for example). It has taken me awhile to adjust to my reflection, but like other things it gets more "normal" feeling as time passes by. In the mean time, enjoy all of the little nsvs that occur and keep on plugging towards goal. You will be there before you know it.

Today my team at work went out for lunch. There was seven of us and one Minivan (that seated seven). Pre band I would have to ride shotgun. Today, I climbed all the way to the very back seat. Yep I was one of the three in the back. I fit! I was so pleased that I rode back there both ways. I love a good NSV!
