9.5 weeks post op and officially down 51 pounds! The last time I weighed this much was right after giving birth 2.5 years ago...you know after the baby comes out and water comes out etc. Pretty excited because soon I will be able to fit all my clothes that I used to fit 3 years ago.

Never underestimate the power of tracking! It helps keep calorie/carb creep away.Started tracking my food on MFP again and realized I caused my own stall. I went back to basics and have dropped 3 lbs in 2 days!

I hate these protein shakes! My surgery is April 5th Im excited just struggling to drink these shakes and to think after surgery more shakes for weeks. Overwhelmed.

Well I finally recovered my "Before" photo that magically disappeared from my profile! What a pain that was. Maybe now I will be able to post an even better "After" photo in a couple more weeks! Here's hoping!

Today is the 1-year anniversary of my surgery. I am glad that I made the decision. I had a great surgeon, my surgery went well and I have had reasonably good results. So far, I have lost approximately 134lbs. Within a week of my surgery, I was able to go off of my high blood pressure medicine. My blood pressure is now normal. Overall, I really feel so much better than I did a year ago today.

This month was not as successful as I'd like I've gone from 159 to 156 back to 159lbs THREE TIMES! I'm tired of losing the same 3 lbs. Has this happened to anyone else?

O.K. so it seems that I am losing about 1 kg a week. FYI 1 kg euqals 2.2 lbs. I think I can live with this.

Finally got my surgery date! March 6th 2013 Start my 2 week liquid diet february 20th. So nervous about that. Just from the diet plans the nutrionist has me on I have lost 16 pounds and feel great. I cant wait for the next chapter in my life to begin.
