  3. I saw my neurologist today. Kinda scary, he told me if I hadn't lost all the weight this past year, there was a good chance I wouldn't have been able to walk anymore by now. It's amazing how much weight loss can effect every aspect of your health.

  9. Day 3 Post Op: Well, i think the worst of my nausea is behind me!!! So happy about that. I stopped my pain meds after the throwing up fiasco. Now i just need to be more diligent about getting all my fluid intake. I'm not managing what is required... yet.   11. Had a GREAT post op day! I am proud and grateful this evening. I've read several posts from others on this forum about having to deal with legitimate physical limitations (hopefully much of that will get better as the weight comes off), that make exercising VERY difficult, but yhey still work around it. It's impressive and a nice wake up call for the rest of us. We can move today, right now. Let's not waste this blessing.

  15. Started a food diary on myfitnesspal. It's like weight watchers but FREE! Once I get a calorie count from the doctor's office, I'm in business!

  18. I don't think I have many more clothes that I can go through that are TOO big! Just went through a duffle bag full of clothes and ended up putting most it in the donate pile! I bought some capris in May and I had add to them to the pile cause they were too big.... Its good to be losing weight but it makes me want to cry as I go through these clothes!

  22. Big dissappointment today but more determined than ever that my lapband surgery is the right choice for me. I didn't make the same pace group for half marathon training that I made last year. I'm 1 minute slower than the minimum. So dissappointed I've gained 20 pounds since last season and hadn't been working out as hard as I should.   23. Met with the doctor yesterday and everything went amazingly! She was super sweet and she told me that since I have already lost so much weight she only wants me to lose another 10 pounds before the surgery, as long as all appointments fall into place I should be getting my surgery at the end of September! So excited!
