Ok surgery is tomorrow... just return from the hospital for my pre-op. I am ready to put this weight behind me. Have to report at 8am heading to the store to get some jello and broth.yum I will keep you updated after I awake from getting sleeved.

NP said she would have booked my surgery if I had lost more weight. I'm kind of bummed. After debating her about my extreme hunger she prescribed Phentermine. Wish me luck...

I'm 12 days po. I hear of people losing 20# pounds by now. I have only lost 2 to 3 pounds. I'm discouraged. Has anyone else had slow weight loss at first? Did it get better?

Losing weight fast is not as fun as I thought lol I am shrinking and can't buy clothes because I will just be out of them quickly. But the upside is I am looking gooood again

Hey I'm back. This month is keeping me busy, sorry I haven't been on here much. I've been cooking and baking. Yes, I have been good too. I weighted myself at my parents house on the 14th and I'm down another 4 pounds. I love this sleeve. Keeping myself busy. I AM NORMAL. Today, BMI calculator puts me in the normal weight range. I am numb at with this milestone success.

Weight staying around the same thing, but my body fat percentage is now below 40!!! Awesome!

I haven't been on here for awhile. While my weight loss has been slower than I would like. I have no regrets. I have had no issues knock on wood... I have had 3 fills since my surgery on Oct. 22. I am now wearing a 16 which I thought would never be possible. I still have a ways to go but I'm fine with that.

I miss the days of seeing weight loss every week. Now at least I maintain, instead of gaining.

Thursday I go in for a complete unfill! I pray i feel better but im so scared ill gain weight. Please send your positive vibes my way. I've worked so hard - i just cant imagine my life fat again. :/

I was a little bummed that I did not lose any weight these past two even though I am at the gym 6 days a week and staying under 1200 calories. I have 6.5cc in my band and I am still getting a litte hungry but I will keep pushing!!

Had a great 1 month check-up. I am onto phase 3 foods! BP was good. Doc was happy with my 45+lb weight loss. Back in 1 month for a possible fill.

I saw my neurologist today. Kinda scary, he told me if I hadn't lost all the weight this past year, there was a good chance I wouldn't have been able to walk anymore by now. It's amazing how much weight loss can effect every aspect of your health.

We to my 2 year check-up and got a tiny fill. My nurse was SO motivating! I am so glad I went and I'm focused on starting over. I gained 11 pounds back but I know I can do this!

I had big dreams of losing all my excess weight in one year, two years tops. I know what I need to do to lose the weight but need to stay motivated to do it!

Post-op day 6. Less bloated. Still no desire for food. Still some shoulder and back discomfort. Incisions look great. Struggling to get in enough fluid and protein. After gaining 2 pounds post-op and retaining it for days, the scale has dropped 6 pounds.

Day 3 Post Op: Well, i think the worst of my nausea is behind me!!! So happy about that. I stopped my pain meds after the throwing up fiasco. Now i just need to be more diligent about getting all my fluid intake. I'm not managing what is required... yet. However, on a more positive note i can totally see where i lost my 17lbs of water weight (12 pre op diet & 5 post op surgery)! Every bit of it came off my calves and ankles. Except for ugly feet my lower legs actually...

Headed in the right direction! Lost about 5-7 of the 15 gained back but I feel my mind and body are ready to move on and get back on the horse!

Had a GREAT post op day! I am proud and grateful this evening. I've read several posts from others on this forum about having to deal with legitimate physical limitations (hopefully much of that will get better as the weight comes off), that make exercising VERY difficult, but yhey still work around it. It's impressive and a nice wake up call for the rest of us. We can move today, right now. Let's not waste this blessing.
