  12. In the last month -- since my last body fat percentage check (on 1/27/12) -- I've lost 4.6lbs of fat, and gained 1.8lbs of muscle. Not bad. Both numbers moving in the right direction!

  16. This status is for all of those who are going through a "stall". FYI a true stall is being at the same weight for 3 weeks or more. You will have to change up your routine to break it. That said... it took me ***6.5 YEARS*** to get from point A to point B. So if you're feeling at this moment that you will never get to your goal, YOU ABSOLUTELY WILL!!! You just have to keep fighting. Forever!!!

  18. I finally lost the 10 lbs I gained during the holidays but I still can't get back to the way I was eating when I first started this journey. I find losing very difficult now that I fell off track. It was so easy for me before. Sigh.

  19. Yesterday I weighted in at 259.6 slowing down a bit but I think it is what I'm eating. I did manage to lose 6 inches this past week and feel really good about that, it has only been 18 weeks (5 months 5 days) since I started my journey. Worked out last night and even got hubby to join the gym with me, now we can work out together.

  20. Day 6 post op and I still have gas pains and coughing up phlegm. I wighed on the scale yesterday and I gained 1.5 lbs!! I'm bummed. I think it is due to all the iv fluids they gave me in the hospital as I was dehydrated. I'm able to drink 1 protein shake a day which is what is recommended by my NUT. I walked a little yesterday but noticed I got tired quickly. Also, I had a cup of organic chicken broth and sugar free pudding last night. I felt SO bloated afterwards. Big mistake...

  21. Inching closer and closer to goal!!! :) Five more pounds until a healthy weight and BMI!!!!

  22. Wow! Down to 186, can't believe I'm one pound away from my goal weight. I think I'm actually going to change my goal to 180 and see how it feels!

  23. The number one ingredient to losing weight with the sleeve: Diligence. The second: Forgiveness (of the self). Every day you wake up is a new opportunity to get it right. Never give up! Perfection isn't going to happen unless you're Super Human. That... I never was. ;-)
