What a awesome NSV! But you need to block him on your Facebook page if you already haven't. You neither need nor want a stalker on your Facebook or in your life! Best wishes, and as others have said, great revenge! -
I was buying some dry sherry for cooking and I got carded in the checkout line! Yippee! I'm 34 and haven't been carded at the grocery in years. That's what losing 80 lbs since I started this weight loss journey will do!

YEAH!!. yes the simple things like crossing your legs. the ability to sit in a plane seat without asking for a seat belt extender. Hope you enjoyed your date. More NSVs coming your way

It is like us lol we want what we can't have sometimes and we will try but our experience is not a good one , and why would you want to do that again , most of us are the same as we we're before we are just healthier in body and mind so if he wasn't good to you before the healthier you now , he doesn't deserve the new iproved healthier you just keep the nsv and except it then keep thigs moving like you have. -
That is an NSV! I was happy when I could no longer eat chocolate. I tried a few sips of soda over the weekend and I don't like the feeling of the carbonation anymore. I'm happy about that, I was addicted to coca-cola in the worst way.

So, the good news is I can no longer eat donuts! Yay! The bad news is, I really wanted that donut yesterday...but really, this is all about the good news, which is I can no longer eat donuts! Yay! So, I am a year in, have lost half of what I had hoped to by now, and only now am I feeling like my "tool" is working to potential. However, I am thrilled it is working at all and I certainly did not get this big in a year...the 30 pounds gone came on over the last 8 years! So, I will carry on and hopefully find more foods over the next few months that I can no longer get down!

It is so hard for our minds to catch up to our actual body size. I still see pictures of myself now, and I can't believe that they are actually of me. I was walking next to my skinny husband ( he has always been thin) and I saw our shadows, and I just couldn't believe that my shadow was smaller then his....that is a major NSV for me! Another NSV that I thought would never happen....my hubby is able to scoop me up in his arms and carry me! It is so thrilling, and makes me feel sooooo sexy! -
My silly little NSV...I bought something at Victoria Secret...albeit it was only a sweatshirt...but it was a size Large and if you have ever been to Victoria Secret even their size Large is small. Truth is 6 months ago I would have never had the confidence to walk into that place..next time, I am buying the whole shebang,,,undies and a matching bra..lol

Today's NSV... I crashed my bike and didn't get injured/killed. When I was 360 I was petrified of crashing because with all the force from my weight, I could get really injured from just a minor crash.. Today, I had a minor crash and was more worried about the bike than me... and we're BOTH fine! -
I went shopping and bought size 14 pants (down from a tight 22), XL shirts (down from 2x), and today I took my ring in to be sized before they fall off and get lost. I'll be wearing a 6 1/2 next week when I pick them up! And I still hate shopping, but it was nice to not have to go to the women's section to find clothes that fit.

A few years ago some friends came to visit. We live about 5 minutes from Six Flags and our families went to the park. I wanted to ride the Batman ride. I get on and could get the seat all the day to get the buckle to work. The guy was rushing to make sure everyone was set and I had to get off because I was just too big to fit. On Friday night my daughter, her friend and I went to Six Flags and I rode Batman! (and Superman!) It really meant A LOT to me to say I can do anything a normal person can do again! And then I said, "Why am I riding a roller coaster?!" I "cheated" death on those two roller coasters LOL and now I am done with roller coasters, I think, but so proud, happy and normal!!!!!

Fit, I friend if mine had this saying, "how do you eat an elephant?.... One bite at a time!!" He meant that to look at a task that is really large you complete it one step at a time. Celebrate the intirim goals, that will give you victories and help keep motivated!! Plus its nice to have wins!!! In our cases if we have 100 pounds to lose, and set 10-10# wieght loss minigoals and we only lose 90 pounds, thats is still damn good!! Do we meet our ultimate goal, no, but we reached 9 minigoals, have 9 victories and still lost 90pounds!!! Plus we probably had a few NSV's along the way!!! Thats awesome and pretty good!! We would all be that much healthier and skinnier and better off!!! Every large task I have undetaking since, i have looked at the same way. -

My daughter and I were on vacation and had walked into a store that we have never been in. As we were walking around the produce section I looked across the store and I saw two people that had on our same outfits. The one I noticed first was the lady dressed like me, only she was much thinner then I was. Then I noticed the other woman, and realized she had the same outfit on as my daughter, I walked over to my girl to point the two out to her, and then it hit me! I wasn't looking across the store at two different women wearing our outfits, I was looking into a big mirror that was placed there ( I guess to make the store look bigger) and so of course I was seeing us....I just didn't realize that I was so much thinner then my mind gave me credit for. I still pointed it out to her while laughing at myself....we both started laughing so hard, that I am sure that anyone else that was around must of thought we were either completely nuts, or just on some kind of drugs! Lol Well that I consider an NSV right there....not even recognizing myself in a mirror! Haha Hope you enjoyed my silly little NSV! -

I think it is very important to have goals in mind. Some NSV's, some scale/BMI. You need to have big overall goals, But you also need to have some that are very realistic and attainable. It really helps if you take a big weight loss or BMI number and break it into quarters or eighths or tenths. That way, if you have trouble along the way, you have smaller victories to motivate you. -
you never know where you will experience a NSV

That is an awesome NSV! I had one today also! I can wear my 10 year old sons shirts, they are L youth. made my day!!! -
So I am a Lane Bryant girl by necessity and I haven't been there in a while because I had clothes in my closet that were smaller from on my way UP. So I walk in and they know me there and the sales lady says "wow ! Look at you getting all skinny! You look great!" I was in shock I guess because I have been losing slow so I guess I didn't realize the impact. I am almost 3 months out and have lost 25 pounds since surgery and 35 since preop. That s slow compared to a lot of others but I feel like as long as I keep losing ill be fine. To top off the whole visit to Lane Bryant, I need work pants and and 18 looked great! My 22's were falling off so I thought I old need a 20 but nope! It's an 18 and not tight at all I was pushing a 28 when I was at my highest so I have lost 10 sizes. One word...Unbelievable!..... So if you are undecided on whether you want to take the leap of faith, I tell you that NOTHING has worked for me. Even the lap band along with every diet you can imagine. This is working and I feel great. I can exercise without feeling like I am going to die. I can eat healthy and be ok with it. Life is great and I love my sleeve

Wow terrific advise to stay focus and sweat the little stuff. When I want to have a pity party for myself I concentrate on my ever increasing NSV's. Not being concern if the ladder I am on will hold me. When I was 330 lbs I was climbing on an old wooden ladder on a Water tank and I broke 3 steps. Walking up and down stairs without losing my breath. Not worrying if the chair in the cafe will hold me. Take care
