very discouraged...banded 8-23-11...only lost 38 lbs.. hungry and not really feeling restrictions.. only have 4cc in band..following weight watchers diet..aargh!! so down..AND going to gym 3 times per week..what gives???

a week ago I could eat a whole open faced sandwich, now barely even half of one. Yay for restriction!

So pleased!! My co-ordinator is really pleased with my 5lb in 5days loss than I can continue with calorie counting rather than change to liquid diet in last week! Phew ;0)

I am almost 2 weeks post op. See my surgeon on Wednesday for my post op visit and I am down 32lbs but that includes pre-op diet. I am down 18lbs since surgery on 3/06. Still having a hard time getting the protein shakes down but I should be able to start eating pureed foods this week

Have had a good day. On vacation the rest of the week. I took the man-child to his friend's house this morning and then went straight to the gym. Had my protein shake around noon and didn't eat "lunch" til 4. LOL

Back at work after my unplanned week off and am feeling fuzzy brained and tired. And the catching up I have to do is daunting. But my band is fixed, so that's my silver lining!

So hungry today! I've decided that some days I need to have some "snacks" and I've decided that I don't have to wait as long to drink when I have a snack.but I will wait the full hour after a real meal. my snacks today have been fruit, a hard-boiled egg and about a 1/4 cup of sauerkraut w/hot dog. I've had something every two to three hours today. is that bad?

Here I go......3 weeks until surgery and I can't wait. I am currently at my highest weight, 205.3lbs. I've been on diets for years and I go up & down. I acquired high blood pressure in April as well as some other medical issues. So, I decided that it was time to get this weight off.

I had my lap band on October 31st in South Australia. Still a little sore - not too much, and getting sick of the optifast/liquid diet phase. Lost 7kg in the first week post op and none since last Saturday.

peace i read your post on hypo thyroid...my problem too. i found a spoulution to trick the metabolism and lost 13 lbs in 3 weeks

I loved it. :Dancing_biggrin:Today (Friday) makes it my third day. My goal is to work out at least twice a day 5 days a week. Well....Tuesday, Wednesday I work out 4 times in one day. Booth Camp 5 a.m. to 6 a.m., 15 minute walk on my morning break, 15 minute walk on my evening break, and 30 minute cardio workout at home (Turbo Jam dvd). I guess you can say the two 15 minute walks is one workout. But I like counting them as two. Makes me feel like I'm on fire!:target: I have been doing good...I'm proud of myself. I was a little sore yesterday and today. I'm not going to do my evening walk, and I'm not going to workout this evening. But I will do a workout Saturday. Maybe my turbo jam dvd.
So have you had a talk with your coworker's yet?
