I use a night cream that I love and have definitely had to use more since surgery. I feel like my skin is way more dry. I love massages but hate walking away feeling so greasy from all the lotion, but the other day, I told my husband we needed to get one soon, cause I’m pretty sure my skin will just soak up all the lotion!!! 🤣 -

Wow! Looking great! No amount of booty workouts would make my saggy past its prime fallen off the tree and sitting in the field for two weeks booty pop tho! Too much skin is too much skin 😕 my peaches have been ran over and are now roadkill pancakes! -

Good eye! They are LMAO! I bought them just a couple of months ago and they’re already loose (size S mind you). Nothing like the snug lululemon and Alo yoga pants! They hug you just right. -
I can't afford plastic surgery so have had to make do without. My skin laxity has definitely improved in the almost 3 years since my surgery. I was also certain in the first blush of weight loss in the first year that never would I ever regain even a single ounce, but I did regain quite a lot despite my resolution not to. Haha that's all I have to say! My arms are still the most visible saggy skin I have and they look way better 3 years on. I would rather times a million have this 'problem' than my previous morbid obesity. No brainer. Stomach and bum and legs nobody gets to see and have saggy skin - but also seem better as time progresses. Breasts were the least unforgiving luckily, appearance wise. I know we're all different and we want different things as we progress. Hoping you all get to where you want to be soon. 💚

As someone who has lost 200 pounds in 2 years, I can 100% understand and sympathize with the loose skin situation. And being married doesn't really help. My husband is a good man, and he loves me, but he struggles with how much thinner I am now (he's what's known as a chubby chaser, and he loved it when I was around 260-270 pounds) and with all the loose skin (there's A LOT). He tries not to show it, but I can see it in his eyes and on his face. It makes it hard to keep my confidence up, but I know he loves me and I know he's happy with how much healthier I am. The weight and skin are things we talk about and are working through. It takes time and patience, but if you find the right person, it can work. They are allowed to feel a certain way, but they aren't allowed to make you feel bad about it. Remember that. You did this for you and your health. If they love you, they'll understand and be willing to communicate and work through their issues. If they get disgusted and give you a hard time, they aren't the one and you just move on.

I was flat, deflated and basically just skin pre op. But, in this pic, I'm about 30# more than my weight at the time of my BA. So I probably had about a B cup worth of tissue at this point in time. I like UHP because of the projection and upper pole it gives me

Recipe Needed for Spaghetti Sauce Please.

TBH using fresh tomatoes is over rated. A good quality tin with a spoon of tomato puree works just fine. BUT, if you want to use them, Peel them first. Put in boiling water and then plunge in to cold. The skins will fall off easily. -

I didn't' think about that, but I'm willing to bet that's the reason. Because staples aren't flush against the skin. -
Yes, I had one for a couple of months right as I got close to my goal weight and then poof one day the scales showed I had lost a couple of kg even though I had done nothing different. Body is just coping best it can as it looses so much of its reserves of fat etc.

Gastric sleeve outfit home
SleeveToBypass2023 replied to Mandapanda@'s topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Both times I wore leggings (soft with a soft waist) and a loose top. I wore it there and just wore the same thing home. I just wanted to make sure it was soft and loose. -
I had IBS pre surgery, I flip flopped being either loose or constipated. Now I am just seriously constipated. Its a big deal to live with.

I had two switch to wearing my smart watch on my right hand because I tattooed my left hand. It just won't read through it. I did have some luck with putting clear resin stickers on the back to help it read through the skin, but this was too much to keep bothering with. Technology is weird sometimes. -

New NSV! I got a Pandora bracelet as a gift a few years ago and have built up a collection of charms. (8 or 9) I had to take off 5 of them because they bracelet was too tight! Now I can wear all of them and the bracelet is still a bit loose! -

So i ended up in the ER (storytime)

It might just be poor timing (I've had rare occasions like that myself, long before surgery was even an idea in my mind). Like other have said, anemia and diabetes (and a slew of other things) could be lowering you r immune system. Alternatively, have you noticed any other skin changes lately? As I lose, certain areas of skin are getting drier -- and definitely I'm shedding the older layers of skin faster than before. I'm also losing hair in places other than just my head (I have a small balding patch on one eyebrow wtf), but if that's happening in your nether region it could create more moisture & friction. (I know this paragraph is a mess, I'm sorry -- just trying to say maybe it has nothing to do with immune system and you just need to keep an eye on your skin condition there (and elsewhere) for a little while to see if you need to be doing anything differently.) -
Sorry you're in pain. I don't know if I've lost enough weight to justify skin surgery. I love to see it before and after if you're comfortable with that. Sent from my SM-G981U1 using Tapatalk

Guys, While everything is trimming down nicely, i noticed my arms and belly have the most excess skin. Its not too bad but its annoying. My doctor said focus on weigh lifting and if im not happy in 3months he’ll refer me to a plastic surgeon. Thoughts? Also im only four months post op

I can eat all fruits but still struggle with skins. Grape skins especially give me the foamies. I also peel apples, tomatoes and peaches/nectarines. TBH skin really scares me, I have had so many vomiting episodes. The first fruits I tried were raspberries and watermelon and are still my most favourites. I eat fruit with my yogurt in a morning and as an afternoon snack, watermelon or a low cal berry. Some evenings I have a peeled and cored apple with cheese.

Hello all, I'll get caught up and respond soon. But... did anyone else develop hypersensitive skin post-op? I have two blisters forming near one of my incisions, and I just noticed the skin around my CGM sensor (the thing that monitors my blood sugar without sticking my finger all the time) is also developing a blister. I just noticed these things in the last couple of hours, and I'm wondering if I should say something to the doctor or if this might be kind of normal? -
Finally on the other side!
ShoppGirl replied to NeonRaven8919's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
Oh yea. Take that sooner rather than later. Better to have it too loose or often then to get real constipated. My team had us start on stool softeners twice a day as a preventative and take milk of magnesia as needed. Straining can really hurt you right now so better to be on the safe side. -

speaking of thighs...while MY thighs look nice while standing up, they dont look the greatest from an aerial view when im laying down cuz my excess butt skin gets flattened and seeps to the sides, which merges into my upper thigh area. here is me channeling my favourite melted barbie meme. (i forced mr. to take me pic...he was mortified lololololzzz) -
No more saggy arms for Sophie!

why the first time i have ever heard of this procedure! now that i have, i wish i had it done during my traditional tummy tuck as well! i hear ya. arm lift recovery was the WORST. but, i do love the absence of my arm skin flaps, so for me it was worth it...kinda like childbirth, i've blocked it out the trauma/misery from my immediate recall memory. *shudder* -

Numbers 1, 5, 6, and 7 are literally my life now!!! The weakness is driving me crazy, not gonna lie. I absolutely HATE it. Not to mention, I'm down to a size 6 ring, but it's actually loose on me and spins around (drives me NUTS) but I can't go any smaller because I can't fit a 5 or 5 1/2 over my knuckles!!! And the loose skin actually stops me from going lower in clothing sizes. I'm in an XL right now, but I could be in a L if I didn't have so so so much loose skin. I was in a size 28/30 (4x/5x), so my clothes fit and feel a little weird.
