  1. I'm staying in a hotel in Seattle with my mom and sisters for a girls night out. We've shopped, eaten out, and have had a great time! What really made me feel good we're all the NSV's one right after the other! First, I brought PJ's that didn't fit me last month, and they fit perfectly now, size xxl! Second, I bought my first pair of size 16w jeans at Macy's - all the way down from a size 26-28. Third- I went to Old Navy and I was able to fit in size Xxl or Xl depending on fit- I've never been able to shop the store before for clothes- just jewellery and dog toys. I went a little nuts in the clearance section because I needed replacement clothes for the ones I donated cleaning out my closet! Fourth- dinner at Cheesecake Factory, and I sat in the wicker chair instead of the booth- (fit easily- 1st time for that) & ate one Thai lettuce wrap for dinner. Fifth- went swimming at the hotel and used the hotel provided robe to cover up- it fit and tied up & I heard an angelic choir singing! . It was a great day and so encouraging! I had surgery July 2nd 2013, highest weight 330, surgery weight 289, current weight 219, size 16-18. Keep going newbies- you CAN do it!

    OMG October 2013 Post-ops

Dang 60?? Great job Molly!!! It's so hard to get the protein and fluids in don't u think?!!! And I agree with the other gal who said it's hard to do when u r so busy at work! I'm constantly busy so I forget to drink sometimes! Holidays aren't too bad. I prob had more cheese than I should have at thanksgiving and I had a few glasses of wine so I did cheat. But I didn't eat dinner that night. We will see how Christmas goes! On Christmas at my boyfriends family we do appetizers and it's my fav so I might struggle with that. I don't miss soda but I miss fast food, potatoes, bagels, rice. It's gonna be a long life lol!! But I have had a lot of NSV's so I know this will all be worth it. So how are u gonna increase your protein?? They want us to have lots of fruits and veggies but they have no protein! So today I had veggies for lunch and dinner but then I only got 59 grams of protein in. And I even had a shake. Ugh

10 weeks out...52 pounds down. All is going ok. Hard to eat sometimes because I am not ever hungry. My friend said you used to live to eat and now you eat to live. Had the stuck feeling just a couple of times, best thing for me to do is walk it off. It lasts for about 15 minutes. I learned my lesson though...chew chew chew. I never threw up but really wanted to. I miss vegetables and salads. In due time I suppose. No dumping, but I haven't really done anything to tempt fate. No good bread, but I will have an occasional rye krisp or half of a Natures Own thin round, toasted pretty much til its dry and crumbly. I put tuna or egg salad on them. Still supplement with Protein shakes. Keeping up with the Vitamins and Nexium although Calcium is a struggle. I just wish we could take everything twice a day instead of having to space it out. Fluids are a struggle somethimes especially when I get involved at work I lose track of time. To be honest I am not doing much exercise yet except for walking. I do have more energy and don't get winded. NSV...I can cross my legs when I am sitting and the waistband of my jeans just not roll down anymore...lol. I have lost a bra cup size. I'm kinda sad about that...lol. Hope everyone is doing well. Take care and Happy Holidays! Respect the pouch! Respect it!! Lisa

    Any January Surgery Bandsters?

I would like to lose 100lbs My Nsv would be to walk into any store and just pick an outfit that fits nicely. Also, to wear my knee high boots. I also want to just be able to play with my two boys comfortably. I have a5 year old and 1 year old
  11. What are everyones scale and nsv goals? I'll go first.... 1. Drop 30kg - primary goal and to get past 72kg which was the lowest weight I reached just over 2 years ago. 2. NSV: to be able to cross my legs sat on a plane. I travel a lot and would appreciate the feeling of not filling the space I have entirely! 3. NSV: to be able to comfortably zip up some knee high boots that aren't wide fit! 4. NsV: do 10 pull ups. I love crossfit but can't do these. They are my ultimate exercise nemisis. 5. NSV: to get rid of my lovehandles. Almost gone but with a weight drop would hope they go forever!

    Frustrated

I am on Flinstones chewable my 15yr old takes them like candy but me I dislike the taste of them, when I try taking them right away i feel nauseus just to get a little taste. Even the disolvable B6/B12 i cant tolarate the cherry taste to them anymore. I do try to stay away from my family when they r eating n they also try to eat when I am eating or after I eat so that they dont tempt me with their food n i am doing pretty good with staying strong but sometimes its just so hard on me.You could try a Bariatric Advantage chewy Vitamin or their crystal vitamins that you dissolve in fluids. There's also liquid vitamins/calcium made by Welleese. That might be easier for you. As for your B12; they also sell that in a spray or you could opt for the injection (i think its once a month) through your PCP. I don't have to she B6 so I have no suggestions for that one. Upmost, be patient and kind to yourself. This time will pass quickly and you'll be onto new stages. I will tell you I had incredible nightmares about ppl force feeding me stuff I knew I wasn't suppose to eat! I would wake in totally panic and covered on sweat. There's a lot chemically happening in your body right now and this journey is 90% psychological. You're going to get through this and love yourself for all the NSV you will achieve. Peace.

    Ouch

I have discovered that I have a bone near my kitty and that it hurts like heck during sex. It's always been covered with fat. Tonight my husband even said that it feels kinda uncomfortable and that he is concerned that if he gets to aggressive it's going to really hurt me. Lol. Guess this is kinda a dirty nsv!

  20. So, I just hit 100 pounds down today. So happy of the progress I've made. To top it all off, I made a NSV, running a whole mile, and in under 12 minutes, too. I don't think I've done that ever, even in middle school. Pictures in my gallery, yall
