VSG 11/17 155lbs BMI 27 Much of the same from the months prior. Getting checked out by surgeon about GERD & if i need a Conversion. We'll see what the tests say. Otherwise trying to settle firmly into maintenance. Food remains mostly the same but i did give up yogurt to see if it was prompting too may dumping episodes. Problem is i am also no longer eating the foods that i ate along with the yogurt so I'm not certain. Pics attached

I’m 10 years out from having a gastric sleeve and I’m close to my pre-op weight. I am so frustrated and disappointed with myself. I guess I stretched my stomach out. Is there anyone out there with this problem ?

Come and join the June challenge if you wish. Do as little or as much that works for you. Hopefully @GreenTealael will provide “B side questions “ if she has time. Off we go! Start by saying hi, surgery date (unless you are pre-op), type of surgery and state 1 or 2 goals you plan to accomplish this month. Goals don’t have to be weight or food related. Everyone is welcome to join at anytime, we are just supporting each other.

Oh, the journey I've traveled.
My weight gain started after a very depressing first marriage & continued on through single parenthood. By the time I met my current husband (of almost 20 yrs now), I guess I was comfortable with myself & my terrible eating habits. I'm not sure I can pinpoint the moment I decided to have the gastric sleeve, but like many, I got to the point where I was so damn depressed that I didn't even want to go out. I didn't want to be seen or noticed. I was incredibly embarrassed with myself.
Fast forward, I had my surgery around 2014. Became a weight loss facilitator hosting support meetings for newbies & post surgery. Started a demanding job that took me away from continuing the meetings only to wind up getting laid off 1 1/2 yrs later. Found a temp job but was very unhappy with the commute so I left.
Here's where you need to pay attention. I wound up unemployed for almost 7 months. I became quite depressed and, guess what gained 25 pounds back. UGH, how could this happen, right? Fortunately, once I was employed & allowed myself to become accountable to myself again, I started Weight Watchers. Yea, you would think I knew what I had to do to lose the weight again but I needed the support & something I could 'share' with others.
Here I am, 4 months later & I lost the weight. Pheww... I'm 5'2 and my average weight is around 142 pounds. I may start those support meetings up again in the North Denver area. MIght be a great resource for many as it was when I first did it

I am 10 days post op and healing well. I've had an overall positive experience. I am however really freaked out that I just drank about 10oz in 10 minutes. I wasn't paying attention and next thing I knew, it is was gone. I hope that I have restriction! I also hope I didn't harm myself. I have no discomfort whatsoever. Has anyone experienced this? -

My food addiction is soooo bad. Post sleeve surgery 4/17/19. I have hardly any restriction. Became dehydrated yesterday And feeling the same today. Im down only 12 lbs. Whats going on?

I HAVE FINALLY AFTER 8 MONTHS RECEIVED MY DATE! July 18th 2019 😎 Absolutely so excited and would love to thank you all for giving me advice and feedback, it is completely appreciated and i am just so excited. First ever surgery and I'm ready! Anyone else have or had surgeries in July? Would love to know! 😀

I had my Bypass Surgery on 04/25/2019 I'd weighted before surgery 308 and now 285. I get depressed because I thought it would be more. I follow all instructions from Dr.. Green walk every day work out and eating solid foods
