Patients who are dieting or have had weight-loss surgery are all about the numbers on the scale. Did you know that many patients experience "Non-Scale Victories" such as fitting in the seat at a movie theater? What is your non-scale victory?

8 inches in 8 weeks! Just bought a new pair of dress pants with a 44" waist. Two days before I started the weight loss challenge I bought a pair of 52s - my biggest ever. I may burn those tonight. They are never going on this body again.

Down 4.2 lbs today very pleased. Hope I am off my plateau. Losing inches but no weight x 2 weeks, but was told the inches come before we see lbs off the scale.

i am 32 days post surgery and I have not had a fill yet. I see my Dr. on Feb. 21 so I guess that is when I will get my first fill. I am 28 lbs down and feeling great. I have been following the dr's diet to a tee but I am still really hungry. I joined the gym and I have been going 4 times a week and I actually like going. Keep me posted on how you do with your fill and if you think it is helping you lose more weight. Keep up the good work.

Here I go......3 weeks until surgery and I can't wait. I am currently at my highest weight, 205.3lbs. I've been on diets for years and I go up & down. I acquired high blood pressure in April as well as some other medical issues. So, I decided that it was time to get this weight off.

Hello to all the banders its been a long time since I have posted. I'm doing okay, not gaining, but not losing either. I miss the fellowship with the folks from faulkner/Brigham & Women support group. I would like to reconnect again. Peace and Blessings

It has been 2 years since my surgery, I originally lost around 40lbs. The place I had it done didn't have any support groups and I had to learn everything through trial and error. My husband and I wanted a 2nd child so we tried for the last 2 years and we just had a little girl 2 months ago. I am back to my pre-op weight and just had my bad filled. I feel at moments of great hope that this time it will be better and I wanted to joing weight watchers just to have a support system and the other times I feel like getting it reversed....like what did I do to myself, I can't eat dinner with my family or eat with friends. Feeling like a social misfit and I guess in general sorry for myself. Will try to stay positive and learn from all of you out there.

How is the exercising going? My weigh in day is Fridays and gained 2 lbs after exercising ): But everyone says I am toning up so I have gone every day so far but now it is the weekend and can't go because there is so much going on this weekend but Monday look out. I love walking in the pool and that hour goes by so fast for me. I look at my legs as I kick them underwater and skin shakes. yuck.

Hi there. I guess the only reason they would say "Reversable" is because the Gastric surgery is NOT. Once they cut you and redirect your passageway to your stomach, there is no turning back. I really hope you do a LOT of research before going through with this. Please weigh it out carefully. My MD made me believe that this was the answer for me. That I would be able to drop all of the weight - NOT
