I have found that I can orgasm now from oral stimulation. Ok, like many others said TMI but...on topic. I never was able to " get there" before, although I still enjoyed the effort. Now I can reach climax in minutes! It amazed me and my partner. ( who has been around before the weight loss) Another NSV that I REALLY like!!! LOL

I had a NSV yesterday, usually when I go jogging I usually have to walk for a small amount and then start jogging again. I do that about every 10 minutes. Well yesterday I jogged for 40 minutes without walking. I was so proud of myself. I also had the undies issue a few weeks ago. I was wearing a size 10 at the time. I was changing into another outfit and my husband started laughing and said I needed to go shopping. They were so big on me and I didn't even notice. Wearing size 8 now. -
I've had a few NSV... They are almost as good as seeing the scale move down. I can wrap a towel around my body! I am less out breath when I go up the stairs! When someone sits next to me on a bus, I don't feel like I'm taking up all the room! Woo hoo!

I had a wonderful NSV over the weekend, for the first time in my life i wore a pair of WHITE pants. There was a time I would think to myself, women who wear heels all day at work, to the mall (of all places), had serious confidence issues to bare such agony. 7 months ago, I could wear heels for 1 hour max and I would have to change into flats, 70 lbs lighter and I now see the light. This has been one of the ultimate NSV's for me. I can wear my heels all day run up & down stairs & not break a sweat. I LOVE MY SLEEVE!!!!!!!!! Thank you GOD for allowing me this 2nd chance!

Congrats Terry, great NSV!

Got my first PSA results after the surgery, less than 1/10 of one point, which means I am clean (For now). Now, only 10 more tests, one every 6 months for the next 5 years showing the same results and I am considered cured. To Celebrate I got on the bike and did a couple of miles.

I have always considered myself a DIVA...so I was ashamed to shop at stores that ONLY catered to plus size women, I wanted to fit in sooo bad with everyone else ( skinny) women that I spent tons of money shopping on shoes/purses and etc...being overweight really bothered me emotionally with crazee thoughts and feelings!! I am very PROUD of everyone NSV!! I went from size 16 to a 14 and I can fit back in all my heels, gaining weight caused me to wear a sz 10 shoe and now Im in 9.5 and a few 9's again -

Wow ! You are amazing ! Congrats on yout nsv ! Next thing you know you'll be shopping in petites ! -
Today I went to a small water park. I didn't feel tired the entire time. I actually fit in the inner tube. I was able to walk up and down stairs and didn't feel tired at all. The suit I had last summer was super loose. I need a new one. I could really tell my chest has shrunk. When I got out of the water that part of the suit looked like a deflated balloon.

So for those, say either 4 months out or about 50 lbs. down – I have a suggestion: think of the things you are going to do today or did this morning that you would not have been able to do, or do without discomfort, etc. – and share them!!!! Let’s give our brave new pre and post sleeve brethren some NSV’s to look forward to! <3

My NSV today! I think I am ready to run a 5k. I just won't run my first 5k in the Southern California heat. So I'm looking into some in the fall. I have been pretty MIA. Hubs got a new job which is going to be amazing and we are getting ready to move out of my parents house. We are very excited and stressed all at once. How is everyone else doing?

So great to hear from everyone. Really sounds like you all are doing great on your journeys. I need to start back in exercising. Haven't done much since I got the cast off my foot. I am slowly losing, but definitely at a less rate than a couple months ago. Wine is not helping. I think I'm about 69lbs down and that is from surgery date of 2/3. For breakfast I usually have a protein drink once I get to work. If I'm unusually hungry in the morning, I'll have an egg and a sliver of avocado. Lunch most of the time is a salad, packed with protein (chicken, egg, beans, hummus, etc). I sometimes get one larger salad at my work cafe then eat half for lunch and half for dinner (if I'm working late). I try not to eat past 6 o'clock and my dinner varies a ton. Sometimes it's just a quest bar, others it's what my family is having, or leftover lunch as I mentioned. I have not been logging my food anymore. I know it's something I need to get back to as that is when I am most successful. I am in ketosis (state of fat burning) as I have no sugar or carbs for the most point. One fun NSV for me is I'm starting to feel and see my collar bones!!!

Week 4: May 27-31st Sleevers
hrhlaurie replied to lylabelle's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm at 233 today and I'm feeling good about progress but I have a little concern about how slowly the weight is coming off. this was supposed to be the time where weight comes off quickly, but I'm not zipping along. My surgery was 3 weeks ago yesterday and I'm down 17 pounds since surgery date. I told myself that I would stay health focused and not weight focused but.... On the positive side, it probably isn't too early for us to all start sharing some NSVs. I'm now officially out of size 20 so I can shop in the XL range of clothes. I even bought a size 14 bathing suit and I may be straining the lycra panels slightly but I swam in it yesterday and felt great. I have confidence that I'll be in 'onederland' by my vacation in late August. -
I received my 1st fill yesterday of only 2.6C but it's OK. I will not get another fill until 8 weeks because I go on vacation and he doesn't want me to get a fill right before I leave My NSV is that my boss told me he can tell I'm loosing weight (he doesn't know I got WLS) AND I can start seeing collar BONES!!!! I'm so happy about my bones starting to show up

Love it! I have a fitness bucket list too! I'm celebrating by getting charms for my fitness NSV bracelet. It's better than celebrating by eating something and it's a reminder that I can accomplish anything. So far: Plumeria flower: Maui half marathon, charm: OKC memorial half, Ragnar logo: Ragnar Miami to key west relay, and tiara: Disney Princess half. Lots of items left on my bucket list but I'm taking a break for plastics. -
Today, my family went to a theme park, and I decided to give it a try and see if I could fit into one of the rides since I have lost 75+ lbs. While I was in line, there were multiple people that tried to ride only to be forced off the ride when the safety harness wouldn't come down far enough on them. I was extremely nervous that the same thing would happen to me. But, when it was my turn to board the ride, I fit!!!!! Such a great NSV for me!!!!

Those are great NSV's to look forward to. I'm still amazed when I get up and down from the floor under my own power! Pre-suregery, I always had to have a chair or desk nearby to pull myself up. Next NSV... putting the tray table all the way down in the airplane!

Now that's a great NSV, and one of the more peculiar ones I've read. You must be on top of the world?

Terrific NSV. I live in CA and fly a lot and I get a lot of funny looks from tsa agents who look at my license and look at me.
