I had one on day 3 funnily enough they give me this little cup of what looked like white glue I asked what it was they said a laxative I said oh I went 2 hours ago, they told me to still drink it, it was gross. I wasn’t too bad for a while not every day or anything then second week in july worst experience everrrrrrrrrr! I won’t TMI you on the details but get some prune juice! I have been experimenting with it, how I am if I drink half a glass daily how I am if I don’t drink it how I am if I do every 2 or 3 days. Before you go the enema route try prune juice and get a packet of glycerine suppositories it could be as simple as the prune juice maybe a little more in the suppositories and if it comes to it then use the enema kit. I kicked off big time over my issue about the gp being crap and telling me to take things I am not allowed etc so I was told I can take the following f it happened again: Lactulose but if your lactose intolerant you may not want this (which I am) Movicol Psyllium Husks Thankfully I have never been at that stage again and my prune juice does the trick if I am a few days without. Hope that was some help!

I all! I have been so excited with the weight coming off. Had surg on July 11 SW-293 day of surg-278 Today-258!! Yay!! I'm down 2 sizes. Seriously I don't remember this weight. My mom said I think u just skipped a lot of weight! Ha. I believe her. First pic..size 18 second pic and third pic 20-22 third pic is heaviest 293. I'm off blood pressure pills and have energy. Im only 4 wks out and still struggle with Protein but I'm getting majority thru food. shakes r awful, trying the Protein drinks but it has to be ice cold...not tasty. I've been eating those protein Cookies and some bars. Dr said doing good. Cheat-- I ate a corner of a brownie and sugar free vanilla ice cream.(4 protein) blue bell. I had no prob with ice cream cause I ate it before....brownie on the other end. I dumped! But TMI alert....diarrhea like instant. Don't try brownies y'all. Unless they are sugar free! Thanks and if u have any snack tips I've been craving things I shouldn't crave I know it's head hunger but what are some healthy quick items you have had and liked. Thanks!

Don't need the gory details, but has anyone had to use an enema to get things moving? My surgeon suggested it if no BM by day 5. I'm on day 4 and nada so far but starting to get uncomfortable. How many days post op before you were able to go, and did you need an enema? The word alone scares me lol!

Tmi - Tom Or Yeast/bladder Infection?
Shape_Shifter replied to Shape_Shifter's topic in The Gals' Room
Thanks. I'll let TOM run its course instead of goign to doctor. I took 1 oral pill to counteract yeast infection. Hoping that's all i need because this got real irritating real quick. sorry for TMI. -
I started TOM last week right before surgery. luckily stopped over weekend. now i'm having spotting but no other symptoms. I took some medicine yesterday to counter-act the heavy antibiotics that would cause a yeast infection. Could i have a bladder or other infection caused by the antibiotics? Never had one before and not sure what to do.

Magnesium Citrate
Southern Oregon replied to IMSKINNY's topic in Mexico & Self-Pay Weight Loss Surgery
does it make you go when you aren't "going"?....I dunno what my issue is (stop reading here if this is TMI), but I am not going and since I have been having green leafy veggies, figure I should be.... so, if yes, where do I get it. Laxative didn't work. -
I know I'm about to give you Tmi. I'm horny as fuck! But know bf. I'm about to whore myself out! Lol

I'm 5 days post-op to and I've been running a fever off and on since I got home. The gas has really been painful and I finally had my first bowel yesterday (TMI i know but it's true) so I was real relieved and yesterday was the first day i was able to keep anything down. I kinda wish i had the diarrhea because that would at least clean me out, all my gas has come up nothing coming out the back.

Has Surgery Changed Anyone's Marriage? Good Or Bad
kmbrlycool replied to 303Gal's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm three months out and if anything it has improved our marriage at this point. My husband is still free to do whatever he wants... Meaning im not letting my surgery change him. He eats what he wants and we still go to restaurants he wants. Plus he sees my sef esteem and sense of self worth increase so I think he is happy because of that. In addition with the more weight I lose and the more time that passes, he realized its that we are just that much closer to tryin to conceive, we both really want children I still cook his regular meals and we still have sex just as often as before... Things are good. More energy. More sex positions (tmi?). -
For me it's being able to wear tops in the summer and not have to keep pulling the fabric out of a crease where I've got a roll. TMI, I know, but it's the reason I wear too big tops, which is more comfortable but sloppy looking. Can't win for losing! And I would like to be able to tuck my shirts into my pants or jeans and wear a belt just for show. :-D

What Do I Need For The Hospital Stay?
SoccerMomma73 replied to pebbles7673's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Okay tmi but the saggy tatas actually rub the upper incision and hurt!!!! I have a super soft stretchy bra that has minimal support but keeps the girls off the belly.... -
I feel very fortunate to have a husband who is very supportive of me doing this (band to sleeve revision). In fact.....actuoally suggested I look into getting a gastric bypass not so long ago! We have been married going on 10 years now, and I know that even when things are sucky, when the chips are down he's got my back. There have been times when I ahve not thought so, but I must be honest and say that I do have some childhood/daddy issues that I am still trying to resolve. I personally cannot wait to get my sleeve, because I look forward to the day that I CAN do things to make him feel special. Probably TMI, but there is no way I can bring myself to innitiate intimate moments. There are a lot of activities he enjoys that I 'm not able to do so well these days - hiking, bushwalking, camping.....things tha being so big make rather difficult. Plus, I think he will enjoy having a wife who just has more self confidence and improved self esteem (I have zilch self confidence and self esteem is beyond poorly). That said, my husband will have some days where he's just going to have to be a little self suffiient and cook his own meals. if I need to get out for a walk, or I'm having a rough day with food and head hunger, he might have to eat the way I do. In my mind, I might be the one having the surgical procedure, but its still a team effort but we're a team and my surgery affects both of us. Just my 2 cents worth.

I have 8 tattoos(all were done before surgery) and now only 1(on my chest above my upper left breast) is changing. I've developed a tremendous amount of extra skin in my breast area(sorry TMI) in the last 3 months and it isn't looking so great. I'm actually in the process of having it removed! Best advice wait until your at or near goal so it will be absolutely beautiful!

Blood When I Went To Bathroom?
dooter55 replied to vikkic's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Tmi im sure but do you had hemroids? Maybe a blood vessel broke? -
But does anyone else notice that their body odor has changed? My underarms smells different after being sleeved. Probably TMI, but it's just something ive noticed. I mean, I shower like I always have, every day. But my underarms seems to smell a bit funky now. Not cool.

I was told no raw veggies for 2 months. I tried some the other day, around 3 1/2 months out and to my surprise (TMI!) it didn't get digested at all. So I tend to stay away from it. Carrots and peppers seem to be fine though.

Has Surgery Changed Anyone's Marriage? Good Or Bad
Lilu replied to 303Gal's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
In my opinion a relationship ship built on anything other than love, understanding and the most important thing communication are doom to fail. If you ca call your mate a friend you will be okay. I hae children and the weight lost has hange my marriage in a way that has made my hubby and I happier. Bause we have kids we can't get the amount of alone time that we wish but he trys t do little get aways and we still try out new resturants. Eventhough this is TMI the best thing I am enjoying is my husband. I was the ft one in the relationship and sex ws a big issue, but not anymore. I am looking forward to the changes in our marriage I am truly blessed he is a soulmate. So look at the positive things that can happen. You enjoy the energy your going to gain and pray that your hubby can keep up.LOL Good luck -
At What Weight Limit Did You Say "you Have Had Enough"?
Fallenangel2904 replied to Gonnabeslim1day's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
Like a few others have said- it wasn't a number but how i was feeling. Heck I was in denial and hadn't been on a scale in more then a year so I didn't even KNOW what I weighed. Last year I had a knee injury that forced me to be bed ridden for months. I was depressed so I ate. I knew I gained weight I just didn't know how much. I was already about 340-350 when I injured myself. I felt heavier then ever I noticed in the shower- my butt had gotten a lot bigger and there was a lot more to wash (tmi perhaps) but little things like that made me see. Also my shoes were TIGHT shoes I had worn with ease months before. Still I didn't do anything. When I finally went to my consult this June I stepped on the scale and was almost 380lbs. I wanted to cry- and I'm sure at one point I was closer to 400 because i had already began eating less and a few people told me I looked like i had lost some weight. Who knows what my heighest weight really was. This was SCARY to me. There is something terrifying about 400lbs. I'm more convinced then ever this is the right move for me! -
Absolutely, obnoxiously stinky!!! And I have learned that since surgery I cannot gamble with a fart...., Today I sharted, now I know that is TMI but I just wanna let you know not to take that gamble ! ; )

I was bad today. They served us lunch and I gave in to a brownie. I have not had real sugar in over 3 months. I really just wanted to see how it tasted and I also wanted to see if I would experience "dumping." I guess I'm a sadist or something. The other day I was happy to have felt "restriction" and ended up vomiting. Well I didn't have a dumping reaction to the sugar. I did enjoy the treat while it lasted, but afterwards I felt I'd fall into the old craving of sweets. I surprisingly have not. With it being that time of the month, no less! (I know TMI, but hey this is why we have the forum!). Overall I feel I've tested something within myself with this cheat...but I don't know what...

Thank you so much for your response and it's not tmi - I'd really rather know in advance The fewer surprises the better!! I also wanted to say wow, your most recent post with photo's are staggering! Can I ask, how often do you work out now? And do you find you're more motivated because you're losing good weight or does it just get a bit easier cause you don't have to carry around as much excess weight? Thanks, Lila
