Hi Kim
Well its taken a week but I feel great. I went for my 1 week postop and I lost 18lbs!!!!!! The food is starting to gross me out and I stare at people eat like a starving child but the weight loss is worth it.
Any word from your insurance? I ended up calling myself to find out, why don't you try that.
Good luck with it and let me know.

Hey there, Ms. Mississippi! My name is Teresa and I'm new to the site. I have to say that you look FANTASTIC!!!! I hope I get such amazing results when I get banded. How did your skin react to the weight loss? Did you use exercise and if so, what kind would you recommend. You look so happy! Congrats on your accomplishment!

i think it is very important to follow everything your doctor says because they know best you will eventually find out what works for you with the band because everyone is different. I decided to get the band because I struggled with weight all my life constantly going up and down. I think it is the best thing I could of did for myself I feel so much better and my asthma is doing great. I feel if you can do it do it I think you will be really glad u did because it's a great tool to help u loose weight if you are serious and willing to work out and do what you need to do.

I had to have it taken out EMERGENCY! We tried to give it tiime with tpn and to let the babby cook more.... but lost my band the same night my son was born (band first then preemie son....emergency c section)
Sandy was my original coordinator....so I wanted to go back to her...... I just wanted your opinion.
I was around for all the original drama w/ Dr. B so none of this is new or phases me..... I have decided I want a sleeve.
