Anyone have some suggestions on the best apps to use after Gastric Sleeve? I’ve seen a few, but was curious to hear from real people which ones they like. Thanks! -

Back Spasms Post Op Sleeve Surgery 10 months
DJTonyG posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I have been having uncomfortable Back Spasms quite frequently. I have to take Aleeve to get rid of the pain. Any Ideas what is causing them? I also have to urinate a lot more through out the night when I sleep. I get up at least 4 times a night. Very hard to get a good night sleep. Sent from my SM-G975U using BariatricPal mobile app -
Gastric Sleeve Tom. Morn. (11/11/19) - Advice?
InterceptorNYC posted a topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Scheduled for gastric sleeve first thing tomorrow morning at NYU. Must say, I’m a bit nervous about the recovery process and not being able to eat/enjoy certain foods, but the alternative is decreasing health and things breaking down over time. Ballooned up to 311 (5’7) and decided it was finally time to fix it. Pre-op has gone well and I’m down to 280. Did think for a second that perhaps I could just continue with the pre-op process and avoid the surgery, but I know it’s not realistic. Hoping that everything will go well so I can be on my feet and back to work for some travel I have scheduled in December. Made a point of not telling a lot of people. Mom is super supportive, but my wife still seems a bit on the fence. Any advice on what I can truly expect would be great! Thanks!- 10 replies

Hi everyone I was just approved for VSG. I’m waiting on a call back from my surgeon with the official surgery date. I am looking to have it done the second weeks of December. I am so nervous and scared and excited!!! I also keep second guessing myself and thinking if I’ll chicken out and just not do it. I really really really want this done because at this point there is nothing I have not tried to loose the weight. I am scared of failing I guess. I’ve lost almost 20lbs since I began my appts to get this done. I am on a daily injection to suppress my appetite which was a big contributor. If you are a fellow December surgery let’s lean on each other throughout our recovery!

New&Improved posted a topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
Starting to feel better. 9 days post op.. been home 48hrs so I'm sleeping much better Just felt like checking in today with my weekly weight loss. 75lbs down in the 10 weeks I've been dieting. highest weight 322. Current weight 247lbs! finally got under 250 looking forward to hitting my next goal of 200 currently on chewable Bariatric multivitamin got from the hospital before I left and got b12 under the tongue on special too! drinking plenty of fluids throughout the day and shakes & will try some soft puree starting at day 14 got myself some high protein yoghurt to try !! My stomach likes to rumble at random times of the day.. But overall I feel I'm going well with no major issues! My surgeon Is one of the best in the country he even trains other surgeons!! The private hospital he used was amazing I felt like a king being looked after 24/7!! 7 days in hospital All covered by insurance *I hope I can give others looking at having RNY some hope and confidence to see how well I'm doing!!* any questions appreciated take care MIKEY -
