I like OMG October too! Hopefully we will all have lots of OMG in November and December and right throughout the new year maybe that would be TMI? -

Agreed! Never TMI. I'm just as excited for my husband as I am for me I am right there with you Bigjimskiki, I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired! Where are you from Skin? -
So, this morning I grabbed an almond croissant with the full intention of eating half of it. (TMI: I am seriously PMSing and was craving stuff (not to mention I was also really hungry).) I went back to my desk and stared at the delicious pastry; then, I proceeded to wrap it in a napkin, squish it, then throw it in the trash. Yay for me!

After I lost around 20% of my body weight -and over a weekend, it seemed - my boobs seemed to deflate as if someone put a pin in them! They are probably same size overall (lost weight off my back which has decreased band size) as cup size still seems ok but they are much softer (floppier, dare I say, though that's probably TMI). I'm quite pleased as I'm over 50 and in regular mammogram territory - last one was agony and radiologist mentioned my breasts were "unusually firm for a woman of your age" (!?). Hopefully next ones will be easier.

2 week clear liquid diet
melmel11 replied to Cheree's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
OMG today is day 2 and I've spent most of it in the bathroom! Sorry for the TMI. Has anyone experienced this? Is it going to last for the entire 2 week liquid diet? Oh I hope not, I'm sitting at my desk at work and you can hear my tummy rumbling. Ugh -
Hi!! I'm currently in the ER everyone! I haven't been able to keep ANYTHING down these past two days. Not even a sip of hot tea. So, my doc sent me here for IVs and meds. I felt much better after vomiting so many times (sorry...TMI) but I'd be on a road to dehydration if I didn't come. Pray for me!!! 8 days postop -- sleeved 8/12. 30 pounds down since 7/29.

I am watching a repeat of the Doctors. They have a woman who weight lifts with her vagina. If you go to the Doctor's web site you can watch the video. TMI for me. How gross is that? Just thought I would share today's grossness with everyone.

I'm actually feeling really well! A little pain in my left side sometimes but that's totally normal. Ill tell you when they say you feel full, there not kidding lol it's like where was this full feeling all along?! I actually drink Muscle Milk Light. You can get the powder or the all ready made. At first I got the powder and was using skim milk in it hoping to get extra protein, it was just not sitting well with my body. I never got sick, but "TMI" it just went right through me. So i now use Water. The shakes themselves are pretty good though. chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, and strawberry banana are all quite good. I tried peach mango and it was just not my thing. I also tried Core Protein Light which they have at a little mini mart down from my house and that was good too.

Stuck questions
CAishaGA replied to ireallywannabthin's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Milk of magnesia helps me as my bowels kinda lock up now...sorry TMI I know but taking 2 stool softners daily has helped. Just the cheap generic ones from Walmart have made the difference. I too have felt like food gets stuck when I am stuck if you know what I mean. -

This is a bit of a TMI post so I apologize in advance! Last Monday I came down with either the stomach flu/food poisoning. I threw up yellow bitter stuff Monday and part of Tuesday then I felt better although a bit dehydrated. I stayed on the BRAT diet and took Zofran just in case and felt better but come on Thursday I once again felt queasy..however to prevent throwing up I took Zofran. Friday night I once again started stowing up so I took myself to Urgent Care and was given Zofran and told it wasn't serious. I awoke a little while ago and threw up yellow bitter stuff once again. So my question is what would you all do? Is this serious enough to run to the ER or should I should wait and call my PCP tomorrow morning?

I would rather NOT eat a thing than to have to live through these horrid runny bowels that this protein shake is giving me...OMG (sorry TMI)!! I think I'm going to get some gateraid and broth because I cannot take another minute of this. What did you drink during your pre-op diet that made it easier? Funny thing is I'm not even hungry I just want to make sure I'm putting something in my stomach.

Losing 11lbs in 3 1/2 days post op normal?
Robert Angel posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hi everyone... Newbie here I'm a 25yr male from SoCal who started at 304 right before my 2week pre-op liquid diet... I weighed 287 just minutes before going into the operating room late Monday 8/12 afternoon... I weighed myself today and I'm down 11lbs.. I love seeing the numbers drop but is that normal? I'm really excited but also want to make sure I'm doing well. I've been drinking water all day... Having 2-3 muscle milk lights daily, taking multi vitamins. I know TMI but I had my 1st bowel movement today... Wasn't much at all. Anyone else experience this? -
What was your longest stall and how far out were you
beba238 replied to Reigo's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'll be 5 months on Monday and I have been stalled for several weeks now. In June in less than one week i dropped 9lbs. went from 234 to 225 and then I stood at 224. In July I was stuck between 224-220 now in August I finally went down to 216 but keep gaining between 220-218. Today i realized that I haven't poop (SORRY TMI) as much. Especially since i am drinking Iron. Bowel movements are very important. I'm terrified of not losing anymore but I am keep my hope up! -
I'm a thong woman..yes even big, I'd go to Fredrick's of Hollywood. I found that with all that back action going on, panties always looked huge on me. Plus the panty line...hubby loves it, I hate it. When it's time look at Fredrick's of Hollywood. They have great sizes and styles and you can get some really racy (crotchless for your hubby) and comfy (for you). I just realized I probably gave wayyy TMI but I love panties...the way some ladies like shoes. So I can tell you all the best places to get a good comfy pair that's also sexy!

Just fine 1 day - Miserable the next 7 - What gives?
RealizedJen posted a topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Can some one please explain to me why I can eat "normally" for 1-3 days and then switch to "barely getting milk down" for 5-10 days? Why is this occurring? I am not stressed, I haven't been out in the sun, I haven't exercised, I am not sick, I only have ovaries (sorry, tmi), so what the heck? I am 2.5 years post-op and still can't figure out what is going on?? Anyone have any thoughts? suggestions? -
Hi everyone! Chrissy, a rest day is a good thing now and then. And 4 lbs in 2 weeks is great! I had no movement on the scale today, which is a bummer but I'm dealing with it (and not by eating!). I have been on plan, so I know it will come. I'm going to look back on my weight loss I recorded last year and I'm pretty sure I'll see a pattern of the same weight for a couple weeks, then a nice drop. I lost 5 lbs last week, and I know I've been doing the right things. It will come! I just want to be back down to 212 and then less than that, LOL. It takes time, time, time. And I wasted a bunch, but that's water under the bridge. I know next week I will show a loss!! Plus, I think it's ttotm- (warning, tmi alert) I have an IUD so I don't usually get aunt flo, but still have the bloating, cravings, etc, which sucks. But I know it's another reason I'm not showing a loss, and it also sets me up for a bigger loss next week. Well, we're all hanging in, that's the important thing! Nicki

is there anything safe to take when you are constipated?
jmarie posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Sorry about the tmi but I need help. -
It took me 15 days, Colace, senna tablets and Miralax..... but I finally "did it". I guess I missed the "diarrhea" phase the Dr. warned us about. No straining either which is what I was worried about after more then 2 weeks. This may be TMI, but my 7 pound puppy poops more then I do.

ajustice replied to Wendilou's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Holy moly..been taking flax seed caps and also occasional flax cookies. I started adding flax to my Greek yogurt..I found the whole flax seeds which were 1.99 at Publix for a pint and tmi alert... No more constipation!!! I am so shocked how much it worked! They honestly aren't bad either. -

I didn't tell and neither did my friend not even to me.......need advice
buplee replied to Beach Lover's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
What I share or do not share regarding my health is the business of no one. I have had several hospitalizations and surgeries and no one asked me about those. My wife and immediate family are the only people who know. It is up to the individual to determine what level of information to share or how much is tmi.
