Girl, I am haning in there. My weight loss is actually going well. 15 more pounds and i will have lost 100 lbs. Yay!! But now I got other issues brewing. It's always one or the other. I am either happy with myself and everthing else is crappy or everything else is going well and I am unhappy with me. One of these days they will both be on good terms!! lol. How are you? Yes, we'll definitely keep in touch. I had been at the same weight for about a month and had missed a fill appointment. But when I went in last week & got my fill, things really started moving in the right direction. Going back this Wednesday to weigh in . . . pray for me!!! It's a great feeling, though. Like you said, despite the slow process, I'm really grateful to be losing real weight. And fitting into smalleeeeeeeeeeeer clothes, Sister!!! Hallelujah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hello i was wondering how much exercise were you doing to drop that much weight in 10 months?You look great.

I was banded on feb 13 2009 in louisiana. some of my weight was two months before surgery. The Dr made me lose 20 lbs before he would do it. when are you having yours done.

Do you think we are going to have a hard time getting approved because of the weight gain? I really would like to know. I know my nuritionist acted like it was no big deal but we will see. I hope to be down 5lbs myself. I joined a gym and all!

I'm doing wonderful now back at work. Still eating mushie food losing weight slow but I feel wonderful. I have my first fill on May 6 so I will see the difference. Happy to hear you're doing great.

Hows it going with the weight loss?

I havent moved in like three to four weeks with my weight i do believe that i lost inches but no weight im stuck at 32 pounds lossed but i guess it is better than going up!LOL so my first fill is on April 29 so im excited to get some more restriction!!!!

Congratulations! Losing weight and looking sexy always seems to create a pregnancy. The same thing happened to me four years ago (but wasn't on the band). Glad to know that you are able to conceive and still have a normal pregnancy after banding. )

I lost 91 lbs and have now gained like 5lbs back. Currently at 108. Thank you so much!! Keep up the great work yourself.

Congrats on your weight loss. I'm doing good I'm down 56 lbs and feeling great. Married life is great i can't complain I married a good guy. Keep you the good work I'm going to try to make it to Atlanta this summer maybe we can meet up. Keep intouch.

during my weight loss period (7 1/2 months) i started on the treadmill 15 min a day (i'm talking walking at 2.0) and then ended up walking around 45 min at 3.5. And of course the last few months i started doing sit ups. got the surgery in jan and by aug i had a six pack... i had minimal loose skin but after all that hard work even having a little bit bothered me.. so in oct i had a body lift along with a tummy tuck... since the tummy tuck i lost my six pack but plan on getting it back hopefully soon.

Wow! 14 pound loss!!! ...and you're at such a light weight so that is doubly impressive!!! What I wouldn't give to see 177 again...let's see last time was 5-6 years ago. You go girl! Hello congratulations on your weight loss. How much have you lost so far? Im new to this and have many questions. I have been reaching out to others to find out if there is hair lost after the surgery for black women of color?> I dont want to lose my hair. I go for my first appt w/ the dr. on 5/7/09 I have BC-BS insurance and I dont think that will be a problem and I had to have of 5 years weight loss history. I havent done the Physic nor the nutritionist part yet. Is that scary? Hit me back- I sent a friend request:-)

Hey girl! So nice to hear from you. I have been doing ok. Gained a couple of pounds back. Been really stressed out caring for my mother and feel into some really BAD eating habits but I am back now. Had to start all over again and get back on track and it really sucks!!! Was only 10 pounds from my personal goal and now its 18 but the point is Im back and now more determined than ever to get this darn weight off. Hope everything is going good for you. Hello and congratulations on all your weight loss. I am at straight 200 l;bs and my first appt is on 5-7-09. As a black woman 2 woman did you have any hair loss? I was warned that some black women lose hair due to the relaxer we use? Have you heard this?
