  14. Very slooooowly. lol. I've lost 50.5 pounds to date, but the last 10 or 12 have been slow. I've stalled quite a bit. But, people are starting to notice. Maybe it's cuz I bought clothes that fit. Haha. How about you?

  15. Hi! You are totally on track! I lost 19 pounds during my pre-op diet (it was two weeks and five days of only slim fast shakes and two cups of veggies). I've lost about 8 pounds since surgery, waiting until tomorrow to update my ticker. I started the mushy phase yesterday....have you started that yet? I'm expecting my weight loss to slow down with that.

  18. 32 pounds??? wow thats an awful lot being that u are starting off at 285....i was 10 pounds heavier than u at my consultation...i really dont understand why they put u on a diet...when the reason y u want the surgery is bcuz diets haven't been working...makes no sense...

  19. This has been the longest week ever i am measuring my food and takinging in around 100 grams of protien and still no weight loss. I am so frustrated and going to the gym evryday but the scale is still the same. Hope next week is better. I can't wait to start working with my trainer.

  20. I'm scheduled to get my band on the 28th...10 more days, woohoo! I've lost 27 lbs since I started this process...so I'm hoping that I'll reach my goal pretty quickly. So 7 lbs in a week right?

  23. my son was 10 pounds 8 ounces...my dr. made me have a c-section...a c-section is nothing compared to a tuck...the drains alone had me freaked out...i thought i was going to die after my c-section...until i met with the ol tummy tuckster...that was mind blowing pain...

  24. Thanks Suzzane! You seem very determined, I know you will los-e those extra 10-15 as soon as you are able. GOOD LUCK with your surgery on Tuesday. We will stay in touch.

  25. Thanks. I'm at my doctor's goal weight for me, but I would love to be 10-15 pounds lighter. I'm hoping next year, after I get my foot fixed and can run again, maybe I'll get there. I'm having surgery this Tuesday, the 17th. I have found that running is the ONLY exercise that reshapes my body, including my stomach. As soon as I stopped running my stomach poofed back out. I did the Couch to 5K twice now, I LOVE that program. It takes a 100% NON-runner and gets you running a 5k in 9 weeks. There are a couple of podcasts out there to help you through it. I'm going to start it again after the first.

You should feel a little better after your fill. You're entering bandster hell. It's short lived, don't worry. If you have a good doctor who keeps up with your fills, you'll do great. It's all in the aftercare with the band.

Keep up the good work and keep in touch. I love to hear about your progress!
