I had lap band surgery on the 23 rd of march 2009, since then I have lost about 13 kg, or around 26 pounds, My main problem is that the medications I take for a varied array of different illnesses have stopped me from losing more weight, also to top that off I have osteoarthrits in my knee's ankles and back which makes it nearly impossible to exercise, even thou I am taking pain killers, I lost the majority of my weight pre surgery when on the 4 week shakes diet, and bascially the band has done nothing, apart from making me throw up when too much fluid was injected into the little bubble thing below my stomach,thats about it really
