Been a long time since I was on here. I was banded on may 11 and my husband was done on may 12. Everything is going wonderful!!!

I too will be having my surgery Wednesday 4/27.. I am excited and nervous at the same time. My husband was scheduled for this day also, but his has been rescheduled for May 12. GOOD LUCK!!

I have been way too busy. Here is an update. I ahve finished all my testing and my last pre-surgery visit with my surgeon. I have a DATE. Wednesday April 27, 2011. I am so excited. I have been drinking my protein shakes as instructed. Getting everything ready for Wednesday. So excited will post later.

y husband and I have finished our 6 month diet. Now waiting on date to meet surgeon and get a surgery date. We received our approval letters last week from Humana. We are so excited!!!

All of our test are complete!! YAY!! Now to finish this 6 month supervised diet. 3 months to go on that!!! Hope Humana approves it!! Still excited!!

I have just started this journey, with my husband. It is really frustrating. We have done everything except our EGD. I am scheduled for mine Thursday (12/30/2010) . my husbands is scheduled for after new years. But I have heard nothing from our surgeons office or our insurance(humana ) .Can anyone offer some advice or opinion? Please
