I went to a seminar on the 9th of December and started Weight Watchers because of my insurance reqirements. I had my first meeting with the progra coordinator in March because I was 1/2 through WW. I went through the complete process and had a surgery date scheduled for Sept 14th. 2 weeks before my insurance declined my paperwork and we had to file an appeal. I was taken off the surgery date and filed two appeals which were denied. My insurance company changed their policy and I wasn't notified...so they wanted me to do another year of nutrition and an exercise coach. My contact at my hospital finally got 6 months approved. However, by that time the insurance company would have changed their policy again and I would be in a new policy year so I'd have to do my maximums for the policy. Stinks!!! So, my aunt actually went to Mexico about 4 years ago and had her surgery done with Dr. Zapata. I contacted them, got a loan and flew out on a Monday, had surgery on that Tuesday and left Friday morning. Now I'm home and on day 5. We'll see how it goes!!!
