Good luck on your surgery. I am being sleeved on the 19th, only 6 days before you. I found the first 3 days were the hardest on the liquid diet, but then it gets easier. -

Wow, I would be shocked to have to get ready that much sooner. But, so glad that the sooner date worked for you. I will be sleeved on the 19th, so just 3 days before you. -

Liquid Diet - Day 4

I am on day 4 of my pre op liquid diet too. Today is significantly better. I am hungry, but not ravenous like the first 3 days. I think my headache has finally gone away too. Although, I will admit that I cheated on day 2 and 3, but no more of that, I can't and I know I can't. I have also lost over 9 lbs. I only have 8 days of liquid, my surgery is on the 19th, I see you don't have surgery until the 25th. Good luck!! -

That is great!! They told me that if I am off my IV and can control pain with the meds they give me, I'll be able to go home the next day too. I hope I can. -

oh, that sounds great!! I can't eat popsicles because i have this thing about the sticks, but a snow cone, that would be perfect. I might have to go to Walmart before Monday when my liquid diet starts.

I am scheduled for the 19th. I am excited. My family is so busy between now and then which really helps to keep my mind off of things. I have to start my liquid diet on the 11th. I see my surgeon one last time on the 1st and have my pre-op testing that day too. Good luck everyone and I'll be here if anyone needs support and I'll be watching to see how everyone ahead of me is doing. -

Mine was being sent to the insurance company today!! I am so nervous. I have done everything that is required of me so I hope the approval is not a problem. I already have my surgery date for July 19th. -
