I've lost 22 lbs in the last 11 weeks. Feeling frustrated. Seems like others are losing more than me.

My name is JC. I had LB surgery 10-15-10. I've only lost 12lbs. I see a counselor once a week. I'm wanting to join OA, but haven't made it to a meeting yet. I am reading the book & using the workbook. I work out 5 days a week, and 2 of those days with a personal trainer. I'm discouraged because I've read a lot of blogs etc of people who have lost many more pounds than me. I don't get it. What am I doing wrong?

Hi! My name is JC. I'm 40, living in Denver, CO with my husband and 12 year old twins. I'm counting down until my surgery on Friday (10-15-10)! I'm over the moon that my process went fairly smoothly. I would love to support anyone going through the "process". I see a counselor weekly for all my emotional baggage, attend as many support group sessions (weekly & monthly) as I can and read a lot of lap band blogs.
