I have been suffering with my weight almost my entire life. I tried evey diet, pill, exercise, prescription. Anything you can think of, I have tried. I was debating on having the surgery for the last 3 years. I was gaining atleast 20lbs a year since I graduated high school. I finally realized that I wanted to better my health, and be more confident in my appearance. I was tired of avoiding everything in my life because of my weight. Little simple things that people took advantage of everyday was a burden for me. So I decided to do the lap band. It was some struggle in the beginning, and something to get use to. But I'm finally on tract, and lost 35lbs so far. It's been years since I've been under 300lbs. The weight is coming off, I'm out enjoying my life like I am suppose to. I don't regret the decision at all. I should have done it a long time ago. It's a little struggle for a little while, specially when your use to eating large quanities of food to eating much much less. I've gotten use to it, and I exercise, which is the biggest key to a successful weight loss. But I'm so glad that I made this decision. It was to better my health, my life, and my mind.
