Im just wondering if any of you find soup to be a "no-no" because it is so liquidy or if you do get full from it. Im a few weeks post op and wondering if soup is still a viable option for me.

Had mine the 2nd too. Still pretty sore, but feeling a lot better than yesterday.

If anyone out there is NOT squeamish and is interested in watching a video of a banding procedure to see exactly what they will be doing, here is a great website! MedlinePlus: Videos of Surgical Procedures Scroll down to "Degestive System" and then to "weight loss surgery." I found this very reassuring!

My date is scheduled for November 2nd. Getting SO excited! 22 days and counting!

Hi everyone! My banding surgery is a mere 24 days away and I am getting so excited! I live in MN with my husband and 2 cats, and 24 and 4'11" and 225 pounds. I have been working toward getting the surgery since this last January, and am so excited that it is finally getting close! I am really glad that I found a place to meet others like me and am looking forward to the support through this journey.
