I first went to see Dr. Vierra a year and half ago to get the process started for weight loss surgery. My insurance first denied the surgery but i did not give up. I got frusterated and gained more weight during the process and finally got approved for surgery on the 2nd try. I was scared and happy that I was finally going through with Lap-Band surgery. So on October 1, 2010 I had my surgery, Im slowly recovering and excited for this life changing chapter in my life. I am married with 4 beautiful kids and they have supported me 100%.
