I'm not sure if there is an app or not. I log on with my Ipad but don't have an app for it...Nutrimirror has the same red and green status too.

Hi Everyone- So I have been debating the fitbit, but I want it so I know how many calories I'm burning when working out/walking etc. I want to mention a really awesome website I use to track all my food intake, weight loss, body measurments, exercise goals, etc.......and it FREE....it's nutrimirror.com and I love this website!! I'm kind of addicted too . You can set exercise goals track the amount of min/calories per exercise. It's just a really wonderful, free site. Thought I'd share that. www.nutrimirror.com So back to my question about Fitbit. How does everyone feel about the calories tracking part of it? DO you think it's acurate? I've read some not so good reviews about their customer service and if/when you have a problem with it it's very hard to have it addressed. Any experiences with this?

Filled with regret....

Hi You're over thinking it and its overwhelming you. I am 5 months out and I have not had any problem eating ANY types of food. I think it's all about how tight you want the band to be. I read some of these posts that can't keep anything down and wonder why they don't just go back and have Fluid taken out, you shouldn't be miserable just to lose weight. Anyway right now you should focus on getting better, the first few weeks are always hard, you're probably still sore and haven't eaten in a week so your tired too.. Relax, it WILL all be ok. Good luck -
I was banded Nov 23rd and in the first week I lost 10 lbs, but that it and worse I've regained it all and haven't lost anything. I'm so frustrated, I read all these post about not being hungry and wish I felt the same. I have had a fill every month since Dec, sometimes twice in the same month, and it feels like I can feel restriction sometimes and other times nothing. I have no problem eating anything I want and as much as I want. I am going again to get a fill on Monday but just feel it's still not going to work. I have also started weight watchers and working out 5-6 days a week. I just needed to vent and see if anyone else is having the same problem I thought for sure I would be down 30 lbs by now and feel like such a failure. Thanks for reading/listening

Thanks for replying, I feel better knowing I'm not the only one. Hopefully something changes for us soon and we start losing...

I just posted something really similiar to what you wrote. Difference is I'm 5 months post op and haven't lost anything, I'm really bummed too. I'm hoping that I just need a bigger fill but worried that it's not going to matter. When will you see your dr again? I get that same feeling when it feels like I'm backing up for a second but then it goes away. I just thought I'd let you know, you're not the only one. Best of luck. -
stessed about approval

Hi, Thank you for your responses. I found out today that I was actually approved!! I'm scheduled for Nov 23rd. Thanks again -
Hello, I have sent in the needed paperwork to BCBS of NC and today 10-6-10 my surgeons office got a call from the insurance office questioning my 2008 and 2009 weights and requested me to have thyroid test. Thankfully I've already had this done and faxed over the information today. My worry is that they will deny me because of the weights. To qualify I need to have a bmi of over 40 for the at least the previous 2 years or a bmi 35 with co morbitities. I have no other health issues. I went on adipax at the end of 2008 and in 2009 dropped to 207 only to go back up to 218 in Oct 2009 (not documented in PCP notes though) So I don't know what there questioning and haven't heard back from the surgeons office and I'm going crazy thinking about it. Anyone had anything like this happen. Do you think they may still approve me????
