Hello,I have struggled with weight most of my life and after regaining the 30lbs I lost in 2007 and again in 2009, I decided something had to change. I went to a seminar on 9/15 had an appointment with the surgeon 9/17 met with my PCP on 9/20 had a ton of tests done and requested the medical letter be filled out. I had the nutrionist and the psy eval exam on September 27th and everything was sent over to the surgeons office and forwarded to the insurance company on Sept 28th. I receieved a call today (10-6-10) that the insurance company call the insurance specialist at the surgeons office with questions regarding my weight from 2008 and 2009. (2008 I weight 234 and 2009 207 but it went back up to 218 by the end of that year just no documentation from the PCP) and they requested a thyroid test. I had the thyroid test done 9/20 and it was normal so I had PCP fax it. Now I"m worried that they are going to deny it based on the weights and have to just wait to hear back.....
