Nervous was not the word for me. I was SCARED AS HELL!!! I was banded yesterday 10/15. One day post-op & I feel great! Sipping clear fluids all day a lil gas. Cried the whole time they prepared me for surgery. I think I was more afraid of not waking up after surgery than anything. Reading others stories gives you an idea of what to expect but just like pregnancies..each one is different. Good Luck to you! You'll be fine.

Good for you! 20 lbs thats great! I don't think I've lost anything. I never weigh myself at home. I couldn't resist a chicken wing today either. Uuuuggghhhh!!!! What have we gotten ourselves into? I keep trying to remind myself of the big reward...THINNESS!!!!

I am supposed to be on a high protein & veggie diet 2 weeks before my surgery. I did not do well at all. Now I'm trying a liquid diet to prepare for surgery Friday. I am ready to die! I'm hungry, my head hurts, and I can 't resist temptation. Why can't I just do the liquid diet 24 hrs before? uuuugggghhhhhh!!!!!!:cursing:

I struggled today & did good until I got home. My co-workers had greens, fried fish, broccoli & mashed potatoes with cheese, chicken etc. Here I am trying to sip broth & be content. I was starving when I got home. I ate baked chicken & cabage & had tobite a piece of pizza. I'm so disappointed in myself. This is hard!!!!

OMG! I am on day 1 of a liquid diet I put myself on b/c I didn't do well last week with the "Atkins like" diet & my date is Friday, 15th. I have struggled all day today. I'm starving, I have a headache & I am so ready to say...to hell with it & we'll see how things go when they operate. -
I'm 27 and due to be banded on Oct. 15th. Starting my pre-op diet & nervous as ever about this procedure!

My Dr & Nurse said to double the adult dosage. So if it says one it would be two. Good Luck!!!! -

I am getting banded Oct. 15th and I am terrified now! I was so ready but I'm so nervous. I have no tolerance for pain and I am already a finicky eater. I want this so bad & just try to keep in mind the end results.
