good for you, and I'm glad that your so happy, that is the key to the whole thing, keep a positive attitude.

I don't feel like I'm eating much more than 4 to 500 calories a day, but Ive been stuck at 220 for a week. Ive been looking forward to getting out of the 220 into the teens, but they wont release me, darn 20's. I weighed 260, when I had my surgery on 12/12/11, so Ive lost 40 pounds, is that good? Its been 8 weeks, I kind of thought I would I would be losing it faster. Now this is my first stall, so its scary. Words from the wise please. Thanks Kathy. This is really making me sad.

Oh honey, it will all be ok. Your going thru the blues and it will pass. Your hubby sounds like a wonderful man, that just wants you healthy. Just remember, the way it was before, was not good, so the future is what to look forward to. You will find so many new things to do. My husband and I loved to go out to restaurants, after a couple months we enjoy it again, but its so much cheaper because I just eat from his plate and no drink, we save enough to go to the movies for free. Be patient.

Wow, love hearing the praises to the only one that makes it possible. Thank you God! I too have been very blessed with so much, and I too pray for all my new fellow sleevers. I had my surgery on 12/12/11, six weeks ago. I have lost 40 pounds and have about 60-70 more to go. Ive had a few problems, but thru prayers and good surgeons I'm doing great. I have to go all day with nothing, not even a sip, to have my through streached today at 2:30. I smile because I know who has my back,(GOD) peace to all.

I STARTED OUT IN A SIZE TWENTY PANTS AND 2X TOPS. IVE LOST 32 POUNDS AND I'M 4 WEEKS OUT. I'M A PROFESSIONAL SO I HAVE TO DRESS NICE. WELL I COULD NOT IMAGINE BUYING CLOTHES THAT I WOULD BE IN FOR A COUPLE WEEKS, SO I HAVE BEEN HITTING SOME REAL NICE RESALE SHOPS AND CANT BELIEVE THE OUTFITS THAT IM FINDING. IM SO AHEAD OF MY SELF, THAT I HAVE SOME NICE OUTFITS WAITING FOR ME IN ANOTHER 20 POUNDS. I LOVE MY NEW STYLE AND SO DOES ALL MY FRIENDS. THEY THINK IM SPENDING MEGA BUCKS AND I DONT THINK IVE WENT OVER 100 YET. LOL OH AND MY OLD CLOTHES I JUST DONATE TO THE SAME PLACE IM BUYING MY NEW STUFF. TRY THE TRIFT SHOPS IT CAN SURPRISE YOU, I NEVER NEW.

Oh my goodness, that is what my husband thinks too, except he has Berenice enjoying finding bargins too. I love Texas, I lived in Euless. I also lived in Irving. I was there for 12 years, cant wait to come back.

I'M 3 WEEKS AND 5 DAYS OUT. I WENT OUT TO A NICE MEXICAN RESTAURANT WITH MY HUSBAND LAST NIGHT. I ORDERED THE TORTILLA SOUP, ONLY ATE A COUPLE SPOONS, AND THE BLACK BEAN CAKES. I ATE A WHOLE ONE AND ABOUT 3 CHIPS. I WAS SO COMFORTABLE AND FELT SO GOOD. IVE LOST 32 POUNDS AND HAVE VENTURED ON A NEW STYLE. I WENT OUT AND HAD MY HAIR COLORED, NAILS DONE AND I'M DONE TWO SIZES. IT HELPED ME CHANGE ALL MY OLD HABITS. MY NEW LIFE IS WHAT I DREAMED IT WOULD BE, EXCEPT I STILL HATE EXERCICE, BUT I DO IT. GOOD LUCK.

That is a lot. I had mine on 12/12/11 and had my 3 week check up yesterday and I can only eat about 3 table spoons at a meal. I never drank the protien drinks after surgery. I just started to have one now and than. You need to only eat you 3 meals a day and 1 snack. I would make sure I let the doctor's know all that your feeling too. Good luck to you.

Your doing great so far. I felt ok my first day and thought I would be typing away, but I didn't feel like it for almost a week. So good for you. I just had my 3 week check up and Ive lost 30 pounds. So keep walking its the best thing you can do. Best wishes to you.

I had my sleeve on 12/12/11. I have to tell you other than a couple little things that went wrong, 3 weeks today and I'm doing awesome. Ive lost 30 pounds and eating good. Here's what happened in the hospital the first night after surgery. My IV came undone and thank God I woke, because I was bleeding out. I thought my ice bag was leaking, my bed was soaked and my IV was squirting blood out. All is good. A week later, I'm thinking this pain in my left shoulder is the dreaded trapped gas, but it wont go away.Liquid vicadin is all that's helping. I go in for a cat scan, and it shows that my spleen had some trauma, most likely a knick and one of my lungs was not filling all the way. So here's my question, how long will the pain last? I think my lungs better, but the shoulder is bad and I don't want to be hooked on vicadin.I see the doctor wed.

Well thanks so much. I do have a doctors appt. Tomorrow. I will really ask a lot of questions.

I had mine on 12/12/11,so that's 3 weeks today. Ive lost 30 pounds. I just started doing the protien drinks again. I'm doing 15 a day on tread mill and Ive felt really great, except they Knicked my spleen and I have the most horrible pain in my left shoulder, that just makes me cry. They have me taking liquid vicadin, and it does help, but I don't want to become addicted, so I live with the pain a lot of the time.I try not to weigh my self, but I do love it when I just know Ive lost by the way my clothes fit. Even with the pain, I love the new me.

Oh that's to bad. I had my sleeve 3 weeks ago today. I had some problems with breathing at first and horrible pain in my left shoulder so they did a cat scan and found out one of my lungs wasn't filling up all the way. I had to continue using that little breathing machine that we had in the hospital. Now that's cleared up and I'm able to do my tread mill. Its the horrible pain in my shoulder that's killing me, that is because they Knickerbocker my spleen. I don't know how long that's going to last, but I don't want to get addicted to vicadan. I see my surgeon wed. I sure hope you get better and great job on the weight loss. Ive lost 30 so far.
