Well my cousin invited me to go shopping today to get a new outfit for my birthday this weekend. I was really, Really, REALLY hesitant about going. I have always hated shopping because I can never find anything that fits or looks good. Anyway, after about an hour of persuasion I finally agree to go. When I finally find a pair of jeans, almost an hour into our adventure, I like I grab them and head off to the fitting room. To my shock I actually fit into a size 22! I have been a 26 for so long it was weird having them on... I know that they are still plus size and it may not be a huge acomplishment but damn it I am proud of fitting into them. Maybe, just maybe I will start to like this whole shopping thing :

So glad I have a short week... 2 days of work and 5 days of vacation... I really need the rest!...

Early shift at work (WOOHOO!)... Still feeling horrible and the meds are not working... Hoping the weight loss will help with my joints...

I am 2 months post op and my period got way lighter and shorter... To me it is a blessing though because my periods were horrible before I started losing the weight. Your body is adjusting to new things and your hormones are changing due to the weightloss. If you really think something is wrong go to your primary doctor. Good luck!

Really not feeling well today... Starting to have Lupus attacks again (have not had one since October)... I thought I was finally somewhat ok...

Hey sam3841... I am 28 and was diagnosed with psudo-lupus in Semptember. Basically I have all the symptoms but a negative ANA. (My doctor won' t say I have full blown Lupus till she see's the positive ANA). They are treating me as if i was diagnosed with full lupus though. I am also having to be tested every 3 months to see if I get a positive ANA. Weird I know. I was banded in October and so far I have had no complications what so ever. I am taking my meds regularly and have actually noticed that the joint pain is decreasing since I started losing the weight. Don't get me wrong there are still days I can't get out of bed and all but it is getting better. Keep an update of how things are going and I will do the same -
My second fill wasn't as bad as my first but it still sucked. I got .5 CCs put in. My doctor said that I have a hard port to find but it will get easier as the weight comes off. All I can say is thank God I am not as bruised this time as I was last time. Good news is that I lost 10 pounds between fills. Things are really looking up in 2011. I hope the weight keeps coming off at a steady rate and that I don't have many major issues.

Hey girl. I had my second fill yesterday. It went better than the first but still sucked. I lost 10 punds since my last fill so I only got .5CCs this time. I am supposed to go back in a month for another fill. When is yout next appointment?

I am glad that you are doing so well. I have my fill on the 4th and I hope I hae lost some weight. i think they are only wanting to do half a cc but I am going to try for a whole cc. I know it will get easier once my band is in the right area of tightness. I am so not ready for Christmas but there is nothing I can do to keep it from coming lol. Are you ready?

Been getting alot of headaches lately... Tried uping my water intake and it still isn't helping... Hope they go away soon

That sucks that your mornings are not good. I have not been hungry lately but I am forcing myself to eat. I go on the 4th for my fill so I am going to talk to them about it. I had a question. Are you still trying to get protein in? I am having a hard time finding something that I like. Well, Have a Merry Christmas. I'll talk to you soon.

I am doing ok. Sick right now so my appetite is horrible. I have some restriction but I know I am going to need another fill soon. I am glad you are doing better. Maybe now things will start going in the right direction.

Just wondering if anyone else had trouble with their first fill and trying to find the port. I recieved my first fill yesterday and it took three tries to finally find it. Now I am all bruised and wondering if it's going to be like this for every fill.
