I am taking two of them. My doc wanted me to pop them but they are foul, so I swallow them. No problem so far. I also eat high protein, high fiber cereal, try to drink at least 48 oz of water with Benefiber. It's workin a lot better than it was the first month. Best wishes to you.

I was 2.5 lbs from meeting my challenge goal last Monday. I got on two different scales, though not ones I normally weigh on, and they showed me 5.5 lbs down, 2.5 under my goal. I know a bunch of it is probably water loss, but I am taking it! Unfortunately I probably gained 5 lbs back yesterday...

Good for you! I wish I'd done that good yesterday. We had Christmas dinner for some of the grandkids (and will do it again for others on Christmas) and I did ok during the meal... but later... leftovers... pie... I am afraid to weigh in tomorrow.

My butt hurts when I sit too long. My hips are hurting more when I am in bed...

I eat too much in the evening but it is almost always head hunger, or... saying you haven't had your prunes yet... or your yogurt... or high fiber cereal... Fighting constipation here though it is much better than it was.

Anyone on antidepressants or moodstabilizers
joycie replied to ninelivedlady's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am on Lamictal (mood stabilizer) and celexa and trazadone (antidepressants). None caused me to gain weight. My docs want us to crush all meds and the only difference I see is that the trazadone crushed makes me fall asleep much quicker. Good luck. -

Follow your doctor's instructions. You have to let yourself heal. -
Danielle, with symptoms like you described you should really be seen by a doc. This could be heart or lung problems.

I have a friend who goes to a clinic in Albuquerque. She had been going to AZ and had been told there was no WLS clinic in NM, but found one in ABQ. -

How often do you weigh yourself?
joycie replied to WrenBird's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I weigh at the beginning of the week. If I don't have an appointment with my surgeon I go to my primary care doc's office and weigh there. If I do have an appointment later in the week then I weigh twice that week. -

Baby food really ????????
joycie replied to PUG MAMA's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Mushy foods are baby food consistency: mashed potatoes, soft scrambled eggs, etc. My doc allowed casseroles, chili, etc, after it had been put through the blender. You can eat baby food if you wish.
