I'm still on liquids for another week. I got the okay to eat yogurt and cream soups, etc, so I've been eating that kind of stuff. 6 more days and I can start on solids again! woohoo! I went back to work a week after surgery. Tomorrow I will start walking on the treadmill at the gym again...I did have mashed potatoes with fat free turkey gravy on thanksgiving. and i had a stomach ache all night!

How is everyone doing that was banded on 11/15/10?

I was banded 11/15/10 and I cried everyday for the first 5 days, thinking, what did I do! I took away my only means of comfort (food), what was I crazy! I will be two weeks post op tomorrow and I feel pretty great now. I'm still on liquids for another week, but I'm learning to deal. You'll get through it!

any last minute tips?

Thanks everyone for the replys! I'm very anxious right now, but i know its just my nerves and i'll be fine. my surgery is outpatient, but they may keep me overnight if the doc thinks its necessary. i am a chapstick addict so i will have one with me, packing my bag right now. My surgery is not until noon tomorrow, so I will have all morning to make myself crazy! lol Good Luck to everyone who is having surgery tomorrow! lets keep eachother posted!

Thinking of switching to him from Dr.Hamdi, because Dr. Hamdi has canceled my surgery twice now. I should have been banded 2 weeks ago :thumbup:
