Hi, I have not yet had the lapBand procedure, but I am interested and I am going to call to get a consultation. I am 38, and the youngest of 6 kids, of these 6 kids, 2 had heart attacks at 40 and one had open heart surgery at 50. And diabetes runs in my family on both sides. I also have hypothyroidism. So I am getting really nervous as I approach 40. I have struggled with my weight my whole life, and I am very self conscience. I was wondering how long is the actual recovery, for LapBand?
